D.S. “Dee” Wrights was born 29th March 1980 in Germany. Her name is a pen name, and she describes writing as her passion and calling. Dee speaks three languages fluently, English, German and Dutch, and some other rudimentary.
Although she started writing at an early age and two short stories were published during high school, one as a school project and one in a regional newsletter – Dee never dared of thinking to pursue a writing career. Until she started writing fanfiction and readers encouraged her to publish The Beast And Me as an ebook in May 2014.
Dee worked at a publishing house at which she earned insight into the work, process, and production of publishing books. That was the reason why she chose to do all the work herself, apart from proofreading.
When talking about her novels, Dee explains that she loves to dive into the mindset of different characters, especially those of villains and anti-heroes. However, in addition to that, she enjoys writing women who start off as weak and grow through their experiences in her books and end up being their own hero.

The question "Why do you want to be my friend?" is meant seriously. If you have more friends than books, or your answer doesn't tell me anything, I most likely won't accept the request.

Well I wasn't expecting that ending, but thank God it is over. I persevered for some strange reason. I really disliked the diary way of writing and the jumping around all over the place in time. It took the tension out of the action scenes by telling the outcome first. Very annoying. It wasn't clear about what the anti-virus did either. The series is ok if you can get it for free or with Kindle unlimited.

Sneaky little devi

Meg Rocks! Edge of my seat with each book. Staying up late to find out what would happen next. Couldn't put it down.

This was a terrific conclusion to Meghan's story, and as a dedicated reader of this series I loved watching Meg experience her altered life and to see her strength and convictions grow with each book.
Meg loved both her beasts; for they each were unique and fulfilled different needs for her as a woman/beast. "I love Jay for what he sees in me and I love Daniel for loving and admiring me the way I am."
Meg was utterly brilliant in this last exciting part, she used her wits, and charms to stay one step ahead of Peter.
"I felt like a flower that had been cruelly plucked, torn away from the ground and the water that was feeding it, and stolen from the sunlight that had made it flourish."
"Without darkness there cannot be light. Without light, there cannot be darkness. But the in-between is what is most important... The balance between body and mind, instinct and reason, calculation and emotion."

I have read and loved each of the books in this series.
This one however is my favourite.
I have been consumed by Meghan,Jay and eventually Dan from the beginning.
This book is the end game. I won't give the plot away. Just know it bought out every emotion in me. I laughed, I cried, got angry (a lot) . I loved it. Each character was brought alive by D. S Wrights ability as a writer.
Meghan grew as a character from the first book. . As did all the other characters. They become like friends. people change grow. life becomes different.
Was it worth five stars? oh yes. If there was an option for more I would give them, without a doubt.

DS Wrights knocked it out the park with this one.

Not going to lie, being an avid reader of this series I was a wee bit worried about how DS Wrights was gonna wrap this series up in the final installment. What an amazing ending to a spectacular series. It kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through.

This is a series I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a dark read.

I loved the way the story was told as diary entries. It was really unique and the story was wonderful. I look forward to reading more of her material.

This is the last book in this fascinating series.
I'm glad I read it and discovered ones again a new author to me.

This series is definitely something else and is like nothing I've read before.

This dark and yes, sometimes creepy fantasy series, is an entertaining and exciting story, that takes you on a rollercoaster of brutal emotions and mixed feelings.

I've written a lot different reviews last week about it, but at the end I really enjoyed this crazy adventures.
I hated and loved the characters though the 7 short books.
It took getting used to the journal writing style.
In the end it all made perfect sense why it was written that way and was actually amazing how it all came together.

This series ends with an amazing, but of course like everything else in this crazy story, very uncommon HEA 😉 🥰

This is Maghan's last diary.
To free her beasts she has to accept her "created" role as an alpha. Even if that means putting her feelings behind and developing a more calculating core.

While reading, I was at times not sure whether there would be a happy end or not.
D. S. Wrights has made it really suspense-packed. I really liked the ending. It fits the story.
