The Pearl of Wisdom Saga

A hunt for a magical pearl. A bloody battle for a crown.

USA Today Bestselling Author, Jason Paul Rice, presents a limited time $2.99 (Normally 9.99) book bundle that is 360,000 Total Words=Approximately 1200 Pages

The world has no idea that a dark, ancient force is assembling for the ultimate war. An enormous demon army with a group of dragons at their command is plotting against the human race.

Oblivious to the looming threat, a kingdom teeters on the edge of civil war. Duke Jon Colbert’s blood boils because he is certain the king is setting up an arranged marriage to steal his only daughter. He’ll be damned if he’s going to let his little girl become a pawn in the king’s twisted schemes. But nobody denies the king’s wishes and lives to tell about it.

None of the infighting over a crown will matter if a group of unlikely heroes fails on a heroic quest. Will these brave souls find the elusive Pearl of Wisdom and use it to call the dragons into battle?

A myriad of sub-plots intertwine to keep you on the edge of your seat in this epic fantasy story. If you like strong-willed female characters, royal power struggles, magic, medieval mayhem, mystery and dragons, you’ll enjoy this series.

Pick up this bundle to embark on a reading adventure similar to A Game of Thrones with many interesting characters telling the wide-ranging story.

Jason Paul Rice enjoyed reading books from a young age. That turned into story telling which later spurred a love of writing . One day while hiking in the woods he found an extremely old chest that contained books, records and maps that told an unbelievable story of a long-forgotten land. Jason studied these materials and created a fantasy world centered around the Kingdom of Donegal to escape everyday life. Now he humbly invites you to see that vision in his first book TWO HEADS TWO SPIKES. Jason wants to take you on a mental vacation to a land of honor and intrigue. He will whisk you off to a place of murder and manipulation that somehow escaped the history books. Come along for the wild ride, if you dare.

Confused

After deciding to stick it through trying to remember so many different characters and families the reward is a less than a page of what sounded like would be an epic battle with no closure. Was this really the end? Is it not the end of the saga? If not I don’t think I can take anymore. I mean at least when the characters die you know what happens to them rather than a quick close with all these loose ends. I am giving three stars because the character attachment was wonderful but the story I think feels like a jumbled mess. Like a plot line not put entirely put together.

Black Clap, drug addled queens ...

Black Clap shores killing more men than the enemy. Refusing to fight because the other has the better ground? So they sit below them and ....???

Drug addled queens, princess warrior who lives in armor and can kill a dozen delete makes without effort?? They has women leaders more grizzled than any older veterans??
What is this some goth punk who thinks he knows combat or medieval life? Just disrespectful mockery if you ask me. Could not even get into this one.

Not good

A great book for insomniacs, more pages of how to cook, eat and present food than any recipe book, screeds on jewels, clothes and undergarments than a woman's magazine, add phoney 18th century English, pathetic grammar, spelling and sentence structure, abysmal poetry, infantile sex scenes, plus a childish made up language and you have the ideal cure for those sleepless nights

3 Stars the best I can do!!!!

A little slow on the up take. But picks up some speed. So now we have dark forces of all kinds of demons massing for war. A Duke who doesn't want his little girl to be married off to who knows who by the King. Then we have some heroes that have to find the Pearl of Wisdom to get dragons under their control. I like more interaction with characters an a story that moves with a faster pase an unpredictable.

Enjoyed Immensely!

I enjoyed the Pearl of Wisdom Saga 3 book bundle immensely, because I'm into sci-fi and fantasy stories. The characters and storylines were full of action and just the right amount of everything expected in books like these. Read them for yourselves and post reviews too, so others can read them. The author appreciated reviews as well as prospective readers.

Excellent story.

Although I have never watched game of thrones, I feel this story is along those lines. Very descriptive with lots of plot twists. Many characters, Back stabbing, and just all around fun if you are into treachery and treason. Not to mention Dragon riding and manic. I recommend this book.. well done Mr. Rice.

Dreary

Wordy needs a good editor. Too much fascination with back story and has timeline issues. Even his review has too be wordy.

Struggled

Could not get into this book set. Each chapter deals with a character or two and choppily pieces the chapters together to attempt a cohesive story.
