Informative quick read about the life of Henry Matisse, one of the early Fauve's or "Wild Beasts." The layout was done very nicely with: detailed interesting facts, beautiful photographs, a time line and glossary. This would be a nice addition to any elementary/middle school library or classroom.

Another great book about Henri Matisse for children. Lots of ideas for me to think about for my term 3 art class.
