It's a good read.
Markus is a vampire who's losing control of his bloodlust. He doesn't understand what's happening then he scents a witch not just any witch but his blood mate. Markus never even wanted a mate he had everything he thought he needed. Sex, blood, and money but when he finds his little witch he can't imagine life without her. Rachel is a born earth witch raised to hate vampires after one killed a lot of her coven sister many years ago. Imagine her surprise that her coven wants to kill her for more power and now a sexy vampire wants not only her blood but her body to. Can she learn to trust Markus? Will her coven find her and kill her? Can Markus keep her safe and convince her that they are meant to be? I enjoyed this book. I wished it had just a little bit more information. It was well written and I recommended it.

Markus Black is a very happy Vampire building his empire and has no serious ties to hold him back. Has all the blood donors and sex he wants until he gets hit with uncontrollable bloodlust. He hasn't been like this since we was first turned over 150 yrs. ago. Then he gets this scent and he has to find who the owner of it is. Who he finds is Rachel Jones, who is a witch on the run from her coven along with her two Aunts. She's very attracted to Markus but he's a vampire and the enemy - isn't he??
What a fantastic story between these two strong characters. Even though they are supposed to be enemies, apparently Fate has other ideas. Has action, magic, hot romance and memorable characters and storyline. I highly recommend this book and this is another great addition to the Thirst series.

Markus is an old vampire and he is well-known in the real estate industry. He has been an uncontrollable bloodlust and he cannot get enough of the cravings that comes with it. As some supernatural comes to seek his apartment, he decides to stop by when he senses a unique scent that captures his interest and he saw that it belongs to a witch. He does not know why he craves for her scent as if his body demands to have a taste of her. Rachel is a witch and she is on the run Suddenly, they were not expecting that a vampire will come knocking on their door demanding to see her. They teleported to another place to seek refuge and she saw how handsome he looks. Markus will do everything to find her and he has come up with a plan to see her again.

Markus Black is a vampire and has been passionate about his work and building his business empire for years - nothing detracts him from that goal. However he is suddenly hit with an insatiable thirst for blood and sex and so his well ordered life starts to fall apart. Then he picks up a scent and his focus switches to finding the owner of that scent who he HAS to make his no matter what it takes. When he finds her Rachel Jones is a witch who is on the run with her two aunts from a coven intent on killing her - anything with a vampire is completely off her agenda - however when she meets him she cannot deny there is some kind of an attraction there. Will they manage to save each other or both perish?
I loved this story because it was a great merge between the witch and the vampire worlds. It was great the way Markus tried really hard to show restraint and to be the protector whilst trying not to be horribly overbearing, and it was great the way Rachel struggled with the fact that he was a vampire (traditionally hated by witches. There were a lot of different viewpoints and opinions in the story which definitely expanded the view of the Vampire's Thirst books and was a welcome change. Well written I enjoyed the writing style and the way the story was developed and built up as it progressed. Definitely recommended.

Markus wants to build his empire and he will stop at nothing but there is a scent that he catches that he can’t seem to run from. He starts to crave it and wants to know where it is coming from. Rachel is on the run. She needs to find safety and a vampire named Markus was not on her list.
Ok let’s face it, who doesn’t want to be wanted by a hot and sexy vampire. Yes, he is a real estate tycoon but he lives with regrets and shame of his past. A Vampire and A Witch
Another fantastic addition to the Vampire's Thirst series. It's great to see each author's uniqueness brought to life. You've got enemies that are drawn to each other, some overprotective aunts, and some crazy friends that will make you laugh out load. In this story you have a vampire, Markus, on the verge of losing the battle with bloodlust. His workaholic life is turned upsidedown by The Thirst and things look dire until he catches the scent of a witch. Rachel, a witch whose coven has a dark history with vampires suffering from The Thirst, is on the run from the witches since they want to sacrifice her to gain more power. Lots of intensity when these two meet and clash and fall in love and it will take both of them plus their respective entourages to reach a HEA. The wait for this next book in the series was long, but it was definitely worth it! I can't wait for more!

Awesome book
I love Markus and Rachel even Floyd their story was great. Floyd is a really good friend he has no filter. His comment was off the chain. I love her two aunts especially Maxine she really spoke her mind but they both love their niece. Markus didn't give up he got his blood-mate. All the characters were very entertaining. This book leave you wanting more. All your books are 👍 reading I truly enjoy reading them. I looking forward to reading more of your books. Thank you

Markus ROCK'S!
I'm in LOVE....Markus and Rachel are so cute. I've read other stories from this author and really enjoy her writing..I also have read all the Vampire's Thirst books. Each one so different yet the same. It was nice to see the Directive again and I laughed so much with Floyd...I'm surprised Markus didn't cut his tongue out the way he was talking about his mate! Great job Ms Barner ...great characters and a great storyline!

Markus is thrown into turmoil when he is struck by the Thirst. He doesn't know what is happening to him until his friend enlightens him.
He needs to find his blood-mate.
Rachel is a witch who is on the run from her coven. She is hiding and cloaked. How will the mates ever find each other?
This is an easy read that is fun and see you. Try it, you'll like it!

Beautiful Story
I thought Markus was a beautiful story that had a little bit of action in it. He seemed like a straight forward no BS guy who discovered what he want and went after it.
I was a little confused about how the thirst got him in the beginning of the book, but the story still worked great.

Another Winner!
I have read all the book’s in the series. I love them. While I tell myself the characters are not real, it’s hard to believe it. They have feelings, problems, and they love hard. If you want to escape into a world of hot vampires, then this is it.

I was on the edge of my seat threw the whole book. Marcus and Rachel's chemistry is hot from the start. I just love the characters. I have enjoyed the Vampire's thirst series. Can't wait to read more.

Good book
Marcus & Rachel's story just flowed from the last book,with each book they get better and better. I'm really enjoying this series of books. Now on to the next one.
