Great reference book to have for herbal and foodstuffs to help with various ailments. Went alphabetically from allium vegetables to yogurt. Covered many subjects abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), Alzheimer's, aromatherapy, arthritis, high cholesterol, cancer, depression, diabetes, exercise, food safety, GERD, headaches, heart disease, immune system, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), norovirus, Parkinson's disease, shingles, stress, vision loss, weight loss, wound care and many, many other's. I found the food suggestions for health and herbal recommendations most helpful. He even included household suggestions using baking soda and vinegar instead of harsh chemicals. The only problem I had was the cost of the book was prohibitive.
