I'd loved the two previous books, so I was more than a little excited to get my hands on this latest installment in the series. This one is more like the first book in that it’s more of a straight-forward romance with some paranormal elements. Yet, like the second book, it’s also more serious in nature. You can witness the sparks between Alicia and Theo from the very first moment they’re introduced to one another. And the sarcastic sniping and back-biting carries them through most of the book. This is a fast-paced jump off the page novel about a woman cursed by Cupid and the man of her dreams. Would he be the one to break the curse or will he die in her arms like her fiancé did on their wedding day? Could Alicia find the courage to ask him to risk death, or would Theo have to take matters into his own hands? Either way, Alicia’s Fate would be decided on her twenty-fifth birthday and her life would be cast in stone.
Great story with lots passion and a suspense level that builds to epic

4/5 Stars

This was an intriguing novel. Alicia's family has been cursed by Cupid, so from the ages of 6-25 she has the opportunity to find her soulmate. However, her soulmate must eat poisonous berries without dying before the end of her 25th birthday, otherwise Alicia will be condemned to a loveless life.

Each main character was lively and life like. This story is good from Alicia's POV, and it was interesting to read her inner tutoring of wanting love but to not kill someone.

Surfer girl cursed by Cupid meets sports photographer who believes he is every woman’s dream, and in her case, he really is. Except his over inflated ego. This storyline managed to hook me in by keeping me from solving this dilemma. This author did an amazing job in cementing in urgency of the curse as well as the tragic outcome of wrong choices. Loved every page and made note of their books coming. This book left me with those smiley feelings make believe HEA’s induce.

I loved reading about Alicia and Theo. These two really make it feel like you are there in their story and are a part of their lives. Jenn writes in a way that you can feel the emotion coming from Alicia as she is trying to be the best surfer while trying to break a curse that she has had since she was six. I highly recommend this book.
Although I found the premise of this book to be a fun one I really didn't enjoy it that much. The author constantly relies on vulgarity to get her point across. A little would have been fine, but every other sentence seems to contain it. I would love to see what she could do with the story without all of that.

People have heard the expression that those in love have been shot by Cupid’s arrow. Alicia Garis, a competitive surfer and sports model, has a much better idea of what Cupid is capable of as she has been under his curse since the age of 6. If she doesn’t find her soul mate and feed him poisonous berries by the age of 25, she will live without the gift of love for the rest of her life. Having thought she had found her perfect match once, Alicia was responsible for the death of her fiancé…and she ...more

3.5 Way more enjoyable than the second book. This book felt more in line with the first book in the Redeeming Cupid series, it is good a mixer of a funny and heartbreaking love story. Alicia was curse to give her true love poison berry's but after her fiance dies after eating them she vows never to give the berry's to another person again. I felt so sad for Alicia having to care the loss of her late fiance and the burden of knowing that she shouldn't have ignored her dreams and dream man that to ...more

Jenn Windrow loves characters who have a pinch of spunk, a dash of attitude, and a large dollop of sex appeal. Top it all off with a huge heaping helping of snark, and you’ve got the ingredients for the kind of fast paced stories she loves to read and write. Home is a suburb
