I'm not one of those people who knew from birth she was destined to become a writer. I always loved to read and throughout my childhood I could usually be found with a book in my hands. To the disgust of my friends, I even enjoyed creative writing assignments that made them all groan. But I had other dreams besides writing. I wanted to be an actress or a teacher or a lawyer.

Life took a different turn for me, though, when my mother made me take a journalism elective in high school (thanks, Mom!). I knew the first day that this was where I belonged.

After I graduated from college in journalism, I took a job at the local daily newspaper and I reveled in the challenge and the diversity of it. One day I could be interviewing the latest country music star, the next day I was writing about local motorcycle gangs or interviewing an award-winning scientist.

Through it all -- through the natural progression of my career from reporter to editor -- I wrote stories in my head. Not just any stories, either, but romances, the kind of books I have devoured since junior high school, with tales about real people going through the trials and tribulations of life until they find deep and lasting love.

I had no idea how to put these people on paper, but knew I had to try -- their stories were too compelling for me to ignore. I sold my first book in 1995 and now, more than 30 books later, I've come to love everything about writing, from the click of the computer keys under my fingers to the "that's-it!" feeling I get when a story is flowing.

I write full-time now (well, as full-time as I can manage juggling my kids!) amid the raw beauty of the northern Utah mountains.

Even though I might not have dreamed of being a writer when I was younger, now I simply can't imagine my life any other way.

I love to hear from readers. You can reach me at my email address, raeannethayne@gmail.com

5 - "Who can resist a town called Romance..?" Stars!

If you are looking for a collection of romances to take away on vacation with you, or are just looking to discover some new (and really good) authors then the Sweet Love on Main Street box-set is really worth checking out.

With inclusions from the likes of Addison Cole, Chris Keniston, RaeAnne Thayne and Nancy Naigle, it’s a veritable buffet of romance tropes for you to sink your teeth into, and all are more focussed on the romance and emotional side of love and relationships than the ‘in the bedroom’ aspect of a couples getting to know each other.

"If you want her… go after her."

I’d already read Ms. Cole’s two entries and would absolutely recommend them; Read, Write, Love at Seaside & Dreaming at Seaside are a wonderful introduction to the town and characters that she has built that series around and both books scored a full five stars from me.

"When you’re ready… I’ll be waiting for whatever comes next."

The rest of the authors were all new-to-me and I think that’s one of the best things about box-sets that are comprised of multi authors because you get to try a little of everything and for me each of them are now writers is will absolutely be looking to read more from in the future.

Sexy cowboys on the covers of romance novels had nothing on him…

Christ Keniston’s inclusions Adam & Brooks introduce the reader to the Farraday family and the town of Tuckers Bluff, both books were un-put-downable, I loved the writing and the locale, and fell in love with the family as a whole, I will be putting time aside to read the rest of that series soon.

Even in her dreams. She couldn’t escape him…

Nancy Naigle takes the reader to the beach, Sand Dollar Cove to be exact and the aging guest house Sol~Mate another easy to get along with read with plenty of people and a beautiful town to get to know.

"I’ve missed you… It never hit me how much until you came back to town."

RaeAnne Thayne offers up a little romantic suspense with her additions, books 1 & 2 of her Home in Whiskey Creek series; In Too Deep & Endangered rounded out the offerings in the box set with great style another two great stories.

She had thawed his heart and his soul, had replaced thie grief with light and love… had taught him to laugh again.

Chris finishes it all off with a little introduction to the town of Romance and quite a few characters who happen to be travelling there for one reason or another.

At a crazy cheap price you would be silly to pass this collection up.

Sweet Love on Main Street (Boxed Set of 7 Contemporary Romance novels) by RaeAnne Thayne, Chris Keniston, Nancy Naigle, Addison Cole
Main Street is a great place to lose oneself in stories of courageous women, alpha men and heartwarming romance. Escape into the creme de la creme of feel good reads.Read, Write, Love at Seaside (Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers #1) by Addison Cole - Warmth and light abound within an intoxicating romance. Leanna and Kurt have nothing in common. The loner and the optimist may be an odd combination, but the healing qualities they bring out in one another helps them find common ground. They bring out the best in each other, even at their worst. Cole proves that romance can be sweetly seductive with a hint of heat and an abundance of heart. Simply irresistible. (5 star)

Dreaming at Seaside (Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers #2) by Addison Cole - Against a beautiful backdrop and deeply moving scenarios, sparks fly, hearts get broken and difficult choices are made. Caden and Bella are a reminder that despite the pitfalls, love is a rewarding experience. (5 star)

Adam (Farraday Country #1) by Chris Keniston - For influential, light, genuine stories, a reader need look no further than author Chris Keniston. Tales of heartache and loss, quickly develop into meaningful stories that quite often have me smiling through my tears. Right from the start, she aims for the part of a reader that is most vulnerable. THE HEART! And lands a bullseye 90% percent of the time. (5 star)Brooks (Farraday Country #2) by Chris Keniston - Oh, these Farraday men. The stuff of dreams. A dormant hero lies buried inside the rugged good looks waiting for the right woman to bring out the warrior. Brooks is every bit as dreamy as his brother but less complicated. My love of strong female leads was fed by Toni. Refusing to be a victim, she sought out to save herself. (5 star)

Talk about a bang for your buck. This collection of novels by very talented authors was a reader’s dream.
RaeAnne Thayne’s books In Too Deep and Endangered are updated versions of books one and two of Ms. Thayne’s series Home in Whiskey Creek.
Endangered centers around Ryder Shaw and Carly Jacobs. A hate to love relationship due to childhood grudges that were unfairly made. It’s filled with suspense and of course romance.
In Too Deep centers around temporary Sheriff Will Tanner and Andrea McPhee. They seem like opposites but the attraction is evident. Both have secrets that could ruin their attraction. Can they overcome their pasts and find happiness?
Chris Keniston’s books Adam and Brooks are books 1 and 2 of her Farraday Country series.
A contemporary version of 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. We have in book one the oldest brother, Adam, who stops to help Meg O’Brien, a runaway bride.
Book 2, we have Dr Brooks Farraday and Toni Castellano. She stops to help a stray dog, and Brooks meets her when he stops to check out if a hit and run has occurred.
Both stories are sweet, clean romance that will touch your heart.
The stories by Addison Cole are clean versions of Melissa Foster’s Seaside Dreams series. These take place in Cape Cod and follows the lives of friends in Seaside. Both cute and fun to watch the interactions of the characters and the town people.
Lastly, Nancy Naigle’s book Sand Dollar Cove centers around two individuals, Elli Eversol and Brody Rankin who once had a romantic relationship that ended badly. Both are back in Sand Dollar Cove . Will these two be able to help rebuilt the town’s pier while also have the chance to rebuilt their love?
All in all, a great collection worth your time.
I voluntarily read this collection. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Overall this boxset had a pretty good selection of books. Some where better then others. Some are perfect beachy reads short enough to read for you who might be pressed for times. Each different in their own way. Highly Recommend!

Read, Write, Love at Seaside (SWH) by Addison Cole:
Kurt Remmington is a well known author who is abit too focused on writing to have a life. Then in comes the free spirited Jam making Leanna nearly drowning trying to save her dog. Neither are looking for love but they sure found it in this lovely book. I really enjoyed seeing the romance between the two. I also appreciate at there is enough steam to keep things interesting without getting too into it. I loved seeing Kurt slowly open up to the idea of Leanna and pepper. I thought it was interesting seeing what Leanna was going through trying to step up her Jam making business taking it from hobby to getting in the shelves of stores. This was such a nice romance and I really enjoyed reading it.

Dreaming at Seaside (SWH) by Addison Cole
I loved getting to know Bella and Cadens characters. I loved seeing Caden and his son Evan relationship he was a pretty good child and Caden was a great dad and refused to let anything to get into the way of his relationship while giving the teen space. I enjoyed seeing the relationship between Bella and Caden and there was plenty of steamy scent without getting into too much detail which I really appreciate. There was little drama that kept things a bit interesting. I loved seeing Bella and her friends and how much of a rock they were for eachother helping support eachother when in need it, makes me almost jealous where can I find friends like these girls?

Overall pretty great book, even better fantastic series. Trust me when I say that its even better in audiobook because I really loved getting a voice to the characters

Adam by Chris Keniston
Seeing a women in a wedding dress with a jacked up car trying to chase after a dog in the middle of the night doesn't sound like Adams version of a good time. Its obvious to everyone in town that shes in need of help and Adam like most towns folk will be there to help a women in need.

Okay so I will admit if I came across this book I almost didn't pick it up. I was ready to bypass it on the cover alone but since it was part of the boxset and because I got the chance to reading the description I decided to pick. (Yea I know I shouldn't judge a book by its cover I'm just that way I'm a sucker for pretty covers) Anyways I'm so glad to have picked up this book because the book was pretty good. I really enjoyed it. I actually finished the book in one sitting took me like two hours or so to finish so it was a pretty quick read. I enjoyed the characters and getting to know them. I loved the small town feel around it. This was just such a nice contemporary read, I really enjoyed it.

Brooks by Chris Keniston
The last thing Toni expected when driving home was to find a situation that he thought was a hit and run but was actually a women in the road with a dog. Brook is new in town visiting a friend for a wedding that will take place and until then she will figure out what to do with her life. Finally out of the hands of her abusive husband while he is away shes able to jet and recuperate. The last thing she expects is to fall for Toni.

Another terrible cover. Looking past that this was a pretty good book by no means original I feel like I read this book before just different versions of it but it was still a pretty good book. I though it was interesting getting to see both characters point of view. Seeing as Brook was trying to work out a new life in the process of getting divorced won't be an easy process especially since he is loaded and abusive. She refuses to get back to her old life and it was interesting how she went about it in this book. This book was also short as well would've been nicer if it was longer but its good for those of you who are pressed for time and looking for a good quick read.

Sand Dollar Cove by Nancy Naigle
Elli is back in her grandparents beach house after finding out that well known pier in her town has been damaged to the the point where there might be a decision of no building she comes around to help out where she can. This is a big source of tourism in her town and there were shops and stuff and this can really impact the town and she will do everything she can to help save the pier. She wasn't expecting the hot as heck guy who is helping her with the rebuild or for her ex who she seems to might still have feeling for to show up in the picture.

Overall this was a pretty good short contemporary romance book. It was by no means original I've read many variations of this book before but there really are some subtle differences in this book to make it stand out a bit. If you are looking for a good summer contemporary to read while on the beach this might be for you. It also has the benefit for being short so you can spend a bit of time with this book and really great a good contemporary read out of it. I liked the characters and the story was well written I really enjoyed it.

In Too Deep by RaeAnne Thayne
I enjoyed reading this short steamy contemporary romance. I actually think I liked it more then the first book. This once again felt like a story that I've read over and over but there was subtle differences that made this book unique. I enjoyed the characters and the story was well written and I enjoyed it. Its good for when your pressed for time but are looking for a good contemporary romance to read in a short amount of time. Overall pretty good book I liked it.

Endangered by RaeAnne Thayne
I was trying to think of a way to describe this book without spoiling it but had a hard time. But I will say that this book was a pretty good one. My only problem was there were moments where the book felt like it was being rushed like when she she found evidence of who the poachers could possibly be that part of the story was rushed and it seemed like the whole point of the book was going to be based on that. Maybe it was just me that felt that way. But overall the relationship, secrets and romance that was starting to come out of this book was pretty good and I liked it.

What a deal – 7 full length books and a flirt for JUST $2.99. I have read books from all four of these sweet authors and you are in for a treat. Added bonus they are working together with their readers to create a whole wonderful book world - the quirky little fictional town of Romance, Virginia and its’ residents. The flirt – Doggone Romance by Chris Keniston – is our first venture to Romance and I can’t wait for more. Be sure to check them out at www.MainStreetRomance.com or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/MainStreetRo...

Addison Cole’s Read, Write and Love at Seaside is a heartwarming tale of two people – Leanna and Kurt – and their journey to love. It all starts with a wet dog, a successful author, who likes things just so, and a beautiful, if not a little flighty, jelly maker, who rocks his world. Addison Cole’s writing draws you right into the gorgeous world at Seaside and it will leave you waiting for the next installment. In an industry full of over-the-top romance, this book has just enough heat to make your imagination run wild.

Addison Cole’s Dreaming at Seaside is the story of Bella and Caden and their journey from “not dates” to full-fledged love. Bella has returned to Seaside this summer with plans to spend time with her friends and figure out her next steps in life not meeting a new man– until Caden – sexy single dad, to teenager Evan, and local cop enters the picture. Their love story is very true to life – with its ups and downs on the path to happily ever after. This is Addison Cole’s second foray in the Seaside community. These books are sweet with just a little bit of heat – nothing to make you blush too much if you are reading in public. I am told there are more installments to come and I personally can’t wait to see what mischief the girls and guys at Seaside get into. Enjoy!

Chris Keniston’s Adam and Brooks – So Adam and Brooks are the first 2 books in a 10 book series called Farraday Country. Adam and Brook along with their 8 other siblings/cousins each have their own book that shares their special story to happily ever after and forever love. Each of these books gives you a behind the scenes peak into one of the Farraday family’s love life AND you get to keep up with what is happening with everyone else as well. An added bonus is these “stray” dogs that pop up in each book to give a little push to our heroes and heroines when needed. You have an advantage that I did not – I read the first 8 books back to back and then had to wait for the last 2 – Ian and Jamison – to come out – but you can just buy them all and enjoy! Happy Reading!

Nancy Naigle’s Sand Dollar Cove. This was the first book I have read by Nancy and I found it very enjoyable. It is the story of Elli. Located in the protected Sand Dollar Cove – Elli has amazing memories of the summers she spent with her grandparents and she is back this year to help her grandmother recover their family business after a wild and wicked winter. While she is there – she encounters an old love, renewed friendships, new trials and challenges plus a new friendship that turns into a forever love. I am ready to go back to Sand Dollar Cove for another story now.

I haven’t had time to read the two books from RaeAnne Thayne yet but I will update this review once I do. I have read other books written by RaeAnne and enjoyed them immensely. I loved her Haven Point series and can’t wait to read these as well.

The Flirt – Doggone Romance by Chris Keniston – This short story is our first journey into Romance, Virginia. In this book we meet Kelly and Rick and enjoy their path to romance and how it turns their worlds upside down. I truly can’t wait to read more about the residents of Romance and their grand adventures.

If you are looking for sweet books with just a little bit of heat that you can read anywhere – then these 4 authors should be your first stop! Enjoy! Be sure to check out Main Street Romance – they are the only authors that I know of to take this brave leap and work together to create a world that we, the readers, have input in. I believe this is truly amazing and unheard of!

What a great collection of stories! These books give you all of the romance you desire without the R rating! Here are my reviews on a couple of them.

Read, Write & Love at Seaside - Do you like your romances sweet, hot & with the suggestion of intense sex, without the actual scene? This is the book for you! Kurt Remington is at his beachside house trying to finish writing his next book when he ends up rescuing a gorgeous blonde & her dog. Leanna Bray had taken her dog for a walk on the beach when he took off into the ocean & got caught in the current. Talk about instant chemistry & opposites attracting opposites!

The writer has creating an excellent group of characters that build upon each other & are realistic. Leanna, Bella, Jenna, & Amy are friends & neighbors. They support each other. Leanna is flighty, messy & disorganized. Kurt is totally organized, neat & anal. You would think they would drive each other nuts. Instead they bring out the best in each other. Leanna makes Kurt realize there is more to life than work. Kurt makes Leanna slow down & he calms her mind. There is a intense chemistry & drama with the suggestion of hot sex behind closed doors. Take a chance on this one. You'll love it!

Adam - A great start to a new series! Adam Farrady is a small town veterinarian & is on his way home from an all night call when comes upon a red fancy sports car on a road that is not well traveled. He thinks his exhaustion is causing him to see things when the drivers door opens and an angel with red hair & a fancy wedding dress steps out. She sounds as delirious as he feels when she starts babbling about a dog, swerving & running off the road & did she hit it?? Adam takes her into town to have someone look at her car & the mystery starts. Who is Meg & why was she running? Was she married? What does it seem like she's settling in?

I enjoyed reading this book. Chris has a way of setting the beginning scene & using it as a hook into the story. Her descriptive narrative creates a picture of the scene in your mind & makes you realize the chemistry that is present from this very first meeting. The characters are complex and very well developed. I loved the interactions between the women in the poker group! They were funny. Chris has managed to replicate the small town attitudes & environment. The mystery in the story & the illusion of a damsel in distress helped us to realize why the small town residents would accept Meg & look out for her. Chris has given us a heroine that appears to have everything but feels she can't trust her own feelings & takes a journey of self discovery.

Dreaming at Seaside -

Bella has been coming to Seaside for years. Every summer, Bella, Leanna, Jenna & Amy get reacquainted & set off on their summer adventures. Since Leanna has found her way with Kurt & her jam making career, Bella has been dissatisfied with her life. She's quit her job as a school teacher & set up a probationary program for the summer. She's not going to let a man derail her plans. No relationship & no man until things are on track. Until he pulls in - hot, sexy policeman Caden. How is she supposed to fight that chemistry?

After his partner was killed, Caden decided he needed to move to a quiet town & a smaller force. He was a single father raising his son, Evan & didn't want to leave him without a parent. Caden is happy & content & prepared to enjoy the next couple of years before Evan heads to college. Then he catches a sexy fiery blonde in her brief pj's & with her hair caught in a window. Can this attraction be real?

Addison Cole sets a story of friendship & love in a small town. The scene is set perfectly. The friendships are realistic & relatable. I really loved the interactions between Bella & Evan. It takes a special person to accept a teenager into a relationship along with their attitude. I really enjoyed this story & you will too!

I’m leaving this review after reading 5 of the 7 books in this set.

Addison Cole- I’ve read both books. Addison Cole is one of my favorite authors. Her sweet with a bit of heat books are fantastic. In Read, Write, Love at Seaside you meet Pepper. The loving dog that belongs to Leanna. Leanna meets Kurt because of Pepper. Kurt jumped into the water to rescue Pepper and we can say the rest is history from here. A romance is born. Kurt and Leanna are perfect for each other. As they say opposites attract. Kurt is a famous author who writes trillers/mysteries and is a planner, neat as a pin and very organized. Leanna owner of Leanna’s Jellys is the exact opposite. She does everything on a whim, messy galore and so unorganized. This along with the rest of the Seaside group is the making of a perfect book.

Dreaming at Seaside tells the story of Bella and Caden and of course Caden’s teenage computer whiz kid son Evan. Caden is a police officer in Wellfleet, Mass. Bella, our prank loving Seaside girl, is the perfect match for Caden. Bella is a teacher who is deciding what her next step in life will be. There are twist and turns for this couple to find their Happy Ever After!

Next I read The 2 books by Chris Keniston

Adam is a vet who found Meg on the side of the road where she just crashed her Ferrari in Tuckers Bluff, Texas. Meg had left her groom at the alter, thus she was still wearing her wedding gown. She found out at her wedding her ex was a liar, a cheat and she really didn’t know his true identity so she bolted. Adam thought she was an angel at first sight but he knew she was running from ‘something” The town of Tuckers Bluff took Meg under their wings and protected her without really knowing who she was. She took a job at the local cafe but she had her eyes on Adam from the start. The couple dance around each other until they finally have that first kiss and the rest as they say is History. This loving couple find their Happy Ever After.

I then read Brooks. This is about Dr. Brooks Farraday who falls in love with Toni Castellano. Brooks is a small town doctor who falls in love with Toni in yet a round about way. Toni is a friend of Meg’s. Meg is Brooks brothers Adam’s fiance. I once again enjoyed the small town feel that Chris Keniston presents. You can picture it perfectly. Toni, like Meg was hiding something. Can love prevail? Can Brooks and Toni find their Happy Ever After?

The final book I read was Sand Dollar Cove by Nancy Naigle.

This was my first introduction to this author. I enjoyed this sweet book that was a very quick read. Can Elli and Brody find their Happy Ever after? Elli had moved away from Sand Dollar Cove but has returned to take care of her Grandmother and to help repair the shops on the pier that were damaged in a Nor’Easter. Ellie hires Brody to help do the repairs. There was not a romance on the horizon for these two. In fact, Ellie’s old boyfriend was trying to get her back. I wish the book was a bit longer and had a little more depth to it. Other then that, I did enjoy the book.

All in all, I would give the 7 books a 4.5 star rating. I LOVED LOVED LOVED Addison Cole's books. Those are a solid 5. The other 3 books earned between a 4 and a 4.5. I just wish there was some more depth in those books. They other authors were quick reads. I wish there was a little more build up. Seems that things happened a little to fast and the book was over before I was ready for them to end.

I have read 5 of the books in this boxed set so far.
Read, Write, Love at Seaside: (Read Write Love and Dreaming are both Addison Cole)
I adored this book! Kurt & Leanna's love story is so sweet and genuine; you can't help but to fall in love with them.
They are just so real, so honest and just so dang lovable. I couldn't get enough of them. Leanna's friends are also a hoot. Thank goodness for Pepper, Leanna's labradoodle as they may not have met without Kurt having to jump into the ocean to save him.
As a huge romance lover, I have to say that every now and then it is nice to read a romance that isn't buried beneath a lot of sex. It is implied in this book, just not described. Yet the chemistry between Kurt & Leanna is just as hot.
Dreaming at Seaside:
What is there not to love about this book? Nothing! Bella & Caden are a fantastic couple who are absolutely the perfect complement to each other. Their story has all of the pieces and parts that make for a great romance. Addison Cole knows how to write a sweet story with all the intensity, heat and passion but minus the descriptive sex in case that's not your thing. It is most definitely still a sexy read though.
Bella is a strong, funny wonderful heroine and Caden is just, well, Caden. He is a sweet, strong, alpha, protective policeman and a great dad to his 15 year old son Evan who he has raised himself.
Bella's friends who we met in Read, Write, Love at Seaside, are back and of course are up to some of their fun antics as usual. I love this group of people so much and can't wait to watch each one of them find their HEA.
Adam: (Adam & Brooks are both Chris Keniston)
This is a very sweet small town romance and the first in a series of many books each giving another Farraday their HEA. I liked this story, although sometimes it felt like it was stuck in a rut. However, the characters are all wonderful and well written and make you want to be part of their family. They all look out for each other. Adam and Meg definitely start the series off nicely. Love how they met and their whole journey towards love. So much heart and soul in these characters, this town, this writing.
Brooks:
The second Farraday brother falls victim to love in a sweet and wonderful way. Good story, great characters. Brooks is yummy and very protective and Toni is so strong despite everything she has been through. She fits right into this family and town just like Meg did. Brooks and Toni are a perfect match! Another refreshing sex-free romance filled with plenty of heart!
Sand Dollar Cove:
This is my first Nancy Naigle book and I truly enjoyed it. Again this is a nice sweet sex-free romance with a whole lot of heart. She certainly didn't see Brody coming but turns out he is just what she needs and is there for her all the way. Elli moved away from the very small beach town of Sand Dollar Cove years ago but has come back in order to help take care of her grandmother and hopefully help rebuild the area of shops that meant so much to her Pops and still does to Nana and her. Come to find out not everyone in the town wants the same. Good story and great characters and of course a sweet HEA make for a nice read.

I did not read the others yet but I would average these all out at a solid 4 1/2 stars for some pretty sweet romance.

I love the idea of a town built around sweet stories. I’ve read several of the stories in this boxed set, and look forward to reading the rest! Here are my reviews for the ones I’ve already read:

Read, Write, Love at Seaside – by Addison Cole
Kurt Remington is a writer – of thrillers. He’s neat and meticulous. He’s a planner. He lives in New York, but spends his summers writing on Cape Cod. He’s a great guy. Leanna Bray is not. She’s not neat and meticulous, and she’s not a planner. She changes jobs often, and loves her summers at the beach with her friends. This year Leanna has been making jams and jellies, selling them at the flea market, and she’s decided to make this her career. Kurt and Leanna are an unlikely pair, but they meet and fall in love. They learn to compromise and they learn to adjust. This is a fun story, with lots of story and lots of sweet (think jams and jellies!). I really enjoyed this romance for the story and the depth of characters. I also enjoyed the innuendo without the explicitness. Who knew!?!?!

Dreaming at Seaside – by Addison Cole
Bella and her friends have been summering at Seaside since she was a kid. She’s a teacher without a school (she quit her job after dating and being dumped by another teacher); a curvy, fun-loving girl with a penchant for pulling pranks, and an idea that could land her a year-round job in her favorite place. Caden is a cop. He and his teenage son have moved to Seaside to put some distance from danger into their lives. Caden recently lost his partner and wants a slower pace. Bella and Caden have chemistry, but neither is looking for a relationship. Oops! They have one!
This is a fun story with lots of hijinks and lessons to be learned. Lots of sweet, only a little steam, and a really good story. Read this and enjoy!

Endangered – by RaeAnne Thayne
This story is author RaeAnne Thayne’s first published work, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Carly and Ryder are both strong individuals sharing a long, wonderful, complicated past from childhood on. Misunderstandings, bears, poaching, and family make for an exciting and emotional read. Get started!

In Too Deep – by RaeAnne Thayne
This one will get you in the feels. Will feels guilty for the loss of his wife and unborn son. Andie feels guilty for her failed marriage and her inability to have children. Two wounded souls fighting for self-preservation. Can they save each other, or will they destroy each other? Destruction seems so easy!

Doggone Romance – by Chris Keniston
This is my first Chris Keniston. I really enjoyed it. Yeah! A new author for me to enjoy! Kelly and Rick meet over some dogs, or should I say under… A fun and funny romp. Enjoy!

Four really good romance writers got together and combined seven of their well-known books in this delightful anthology. Writers Addison Cole, Chris Keniston, Nancy Naigle, and RaeAnne Thayne all contributed some really charming stories for our enjoyment. The following two books are just a sample of what this wonderful anthology has to offer us.

READ, WRITE, LOVE AT SEASIDE by Addison Cole tells the story of Kurt Remington a workaholic novelist who loves to write thrillers. He is steadfast, fastidious and conscientious. He is everything Leanna Bray is not, she is messy, disorganized and mercurial. Changing jobs almost as much as she changes her clothes, her latest job is making and selling jams and jellies at the local flea market. The question is can these two opposites find a common ground and fall in love? Maybe they can. This is a cute story with an HEA that you will certainly fall in love with.

SAND DOLLAR COVE by Nancy Naigle

Elli Eversol spent most of her summers visiting her grandparent's in SAND DOLLAR COVE. She loved staying with them in the beach house and working in their shop on the old fishing pier. After a devastating hurricane-Nor'easter nearly destroyed the pier and shops Elli is determined to rebuild and “launches the Buy-A-Board campaign to raise funds for the plight.”

Holden Moore the guy that broke Eli's heart years ago is also back and is trying to win Eli back. Yet is he really interested in Eli or does he have some other agenda in mind? Then there is Brody Rankin who is also interested in Eli's Buy-A-Board campaign and is more than willing to romance Eli, along with his main agenda to find a suitable site for a new mega-warehouse near the charmingly old-fashioned, North Carolina beach town. Which man will prove to be the right guy for Eli and the town of Sand Dollar Cove only time will tell. This book is a delightful addition to this wonderful collection that I highly recommend reading it.

These seven books are sweet romances full of feeling and emotion without “explicit scenes or harsh language.” So read and enjoy.

I received this advanced copy from Main Street Romance and I am freely posting this fair and balanced review.

Main Street Romance - great sampling of excellent authors.

This boxed set is so worth it. Seven books and a flirt by four awesome authors.

Addison Cole-Read, Write, Love at Seaside

Wow, what a sweet romance this is! Kurt Remington is swoon worthy, organized and a writer. Leanna Bray is cute, searching for a career and doesn't plan a thing. But a chance meeting between the two leads to a whirlwind romance. I loved these characters. Each has their own quirks but the relationship unfolds as they learn more about themselves and each other. I love the innocence of this Addison Cole romance.

Addison Cole-Dreaming at seaside.

A funny and romantic story from Addison Cole that focuses on Bella and her instant attraction to hot police officer Caden Grant, who meets her while she is in a funny and compromising position. Bella is a school teacher from Connecticut who is making major life changes that don't include a relationship. Caden is a single father with a teenage son and all of the typical teenage challenges. Loved this sweet romance.

Chris Keniston Adam & Brooks

Adam is the oldest brother of the Farraday Family with Brooks following. They grew up on the family ranch raised by a father who was widowed at a young age and their aunt. While each book focuses on one of the brothers and the woman they meet and fall in love with, the reader will definitely fall for this family. Each book is unique and the dynamics among the characters keep you glued to the pages.

Nancy Naigle-Sand Dollar Cove

I really enjoyed this book. Elli comes back to where she really wants to be. The Outer Banks of North Carolina have recently been damaged by storms and the pier is in worse disrepair than expected. She has an emotional attachment to the shops as her grandparents built these businesses. She is very creative in her fundraising efforts. Her volunteer to help, Brody, proves to be more than she bargained for. This is a really sweet romance.

RaeAnne Thayne - I loved her books as well. I had not read her works before but they were top notch.

Highly recommend this book and these authors.

These delightful stories by some of your favorite authors will delight you and keep you reading long into the night! Each story has a sweetness that is suitable for audiences of a wide age range--teen thru grandmothers.

Addison Cole's stories are always favorites of mine. She writes each series in such a way that you meet old friends as you move from one frien's romance to the next one. In Read, Write, Love, totally messy, disorganized Leanne Bray meets self-disciplined, very organized author Kurt Remington . . . And the manic swings. How their friends at Seaside enjoy their romance and forgetfulness will keep you laughing.

In Dreaming at Seaside, Addison brings a teacher from Connecticut, Bella the prankster, together with a police officer . . . And again the girls of Seaside will keep you laughing. Bella's antics are hilarious and the trouble they get into is . . . Always interesting.

Chris Kensington's Books introduce you to the Farraday clan and take you thru the romances of the oldest two brothers, Adam and Brooks. Both deal with "runaway" women who end up in their wear-Texas town and fall in love.

Nancy Naigle takes you to the coast of the Carolinas and introduces you to some of the trials and tribulations of dealing with refurbishing tourist spots after the devastation of a hurricane. It also bring to mind some of the joys associated with downsizing elderly living conditions and reworking popular sites. Of course, romance plays its part in this story, too.

Raeanne Thayne's stories take you back out west to Wyoming where you visit Whiskey Creek and meet tough Cowboys and sassy women they love to hate. Of course, the hate disguises their attraction which they can't avoid for long. You will enjoy both of these stories.

Though there are numerous grammatical errors, missing words which lead to poor sentence structure, and misused words such as they're instead of there that detract from some of these stories, you will still be able to enjoy the stories!

Four new authors to add to my list. What more does a girl need!!!

Read, Write, Love at Seaside:
Such a sweet, loving, heart melting summer read. No matter who you are you can relate to Leanna on some level, I know I can. Her confident and brave nature but underneath still a little unsure of herself. Her relationship with the girls and her relationship with Kurt will have you laughing and awwwing all at the same time. Kurt.... I want a Kurt ;) I love his caring nature and his patience with Leanna. They are the opposite if each other but perfect on so many levels. Kurt will warm your heart and fast become your book boyfriend. A sweet, heartfelt read that I will read again and again and again.

Dreaming at Seaside:
How Caden and Bella meet is hilarious, I could not stop laughing!! We met Bella in Read, Write, Love at Seaside and I could not wait to read her story as she is such a sassy character. Bella is still quite vulnerable under her outgoing, I don't care attitude and she tried to push Caden away but in the end she falls and she falls hard. Caden is instantly attracted to the sassy girl from the Seaside and he and his son Evan fall hard for her too. Bella and the girls from Seaside will have you snorting, giggling and laughing at the most inappropriate times (mine was on the bus to work and I got some funny looks I tell you ;) )

Adam:
I loved this book as it reminds me of another favourite authors books. I love family romance, where one sibling falls in love and then the next sibling and so on and so forth. Another plus for me is this book was so emotional and I could not put it down, I was left wanting more. I love books that play with my emotions and this one did not disappoint.

I cannot wait to read the other books in this boxset especially Brooks!!!

Sweet love with a little bit of heat.

I've only read Addison Cole's books so far, but they are enjoyable reads about the Seaside girls who laugh, love, and play for the summer.

For Read, Write, Love:

This is a fun, sweet read about the Seaside girls - one in particular Leanna Bray meets writer, Kurt Remington when he literally rescues her and her beloved dog in a storm. Kurt is a very dedicated thriller author who lives, eats, breathes his work and doesn't have time for distractions. Leanna makes jams and jellies with the sweet heat title of Luscious Leanna's Sweet Treats.

Leanna is unlike anyone that Kurt has ever known which means she's just the one he needs to pull him away from his computer upon occasion. Leanna feels that she is too flighty and unguided, but with Kurt - she realizes that she is just trying to find her way.

Here are just a few of the swoony moments:

"Point taken, but won't he be a total mood killer?...I'm not sure there's any such thing when I'm around you."

"I've written less, but I've never enjoyed my life more than I have this past week with you, Leanna. If this is what it feels like to live in an upside-down world, then I never want to be right-side up."

"You are my moment."

This is a great introduction to what is sure to be a fun series as the Seaside girls fall in love without any explicit details, but still lots of allusion to hot and steamy times!

Dreaming:

4.5 stars

This Sweet with Heat series is a fun summer read. I enjoyed this one even more than Book 1. I felt the characters were a little more developed. Probably helped that I already knew most of them from Book 1.

I can't wait to read the rest of this series. If you are looking for quick summer reads with some sweet heat and funny, engaging characters - check this series out!

I voluntarily requested and reviewed an advance reader copy.

This is a boxed set that will not disappoint. Just like the title, these stories are all about the love. To start this set off we have the author Addison Cole. I have read the first two books previously but they will never get old. If you think beach read, these would be the perfect choice. It’s like catching up with old friends – well, not too old.

This set is a great way to discover new authors. I’ve never read Chris Keniston’s work before and I loved both the setting and the characters in her two books. They are in alphabetical order but they could be read as standalones. I was left wanting to check out the rest of the series that she showcased here so my TBR list has grown a little. On top of that we end this set with a treat by Ms. Keniston – just like a flirt, it’s a real tease.

Another new author for me was Nancy Naigle. I’ve heard the name before and have wanted to read her work so this was the perfect chance. I used to tell the children’s story at my church and one of my stories was the legend of the sand dollar. It was like it was meant to be.

The next two books are by author RaeAnne Thayne. If you know whom she is than you will know that her books are the first two in her Home in Whiskey Creek. Ms. Thayne is also new to me so it was a pleasure going to visit Whiskey Creek. These are ones that I will need to take a trip and make sure the books go along with me.

The price is perfect for this set because where are you going to get seven books for that. And think how much you would pay if you purchased each book separately. Main Street Romance are four authors who have created sweet romance stories for us to enjoy. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

I can’t wait to read more stories in the collection, as these are some of my very favorite authors! I’ve actually already read both of Addison Cole’s contributions...
Dreaming at Seaside:
Bella and Caden prove that opposites not only attract, they combust with chemistry and passion. While the passion is evident, this is a sweet romance where the sexy times happen behind closed doors. So for those who prefer to leave those scenes to your own imagination, this book and series is for you.
I'm not going to rehash the plot, you can read that yourself. Join Bella and her Wellfleet friends as they welcome Caden and his son to the fun, sun and friendship that summers on Cape Cod inspire!

Read, Write, Love at Seaside:
Sweet, disorganized, jam-making Leanna Bray meets her complete opposite in seriously intense novelist Kurt Remington thanks to her playful, mischievous, wet dog, Pepper.
What follows is a sweet and romantic, not-quite-but-almost love at first site story set under the summer sun along the shores of Cape Cod. Leanna pulls Kurt out of his rigid schedule for fun and companionship that was missing from his life, but didn't interfere with his writing. Kurt slowly includes Leanna...and Pepper, as well as her Seaside girlfriends, into his world with a settling influence on her that still lets get free spirit fly.
With just enough heat to keep things interesting, this nevertheless hot romance keeps the sexy times private but the love on full blast. When conflict arrives, it's dealt with quickly, lovingly and respectfully...as a well written romance should! I'll be sharing this one with my friends, especially those who aren't normally romance readers. I think Read, Write, Love at Seaside may just convert some of them!

Off to read more!

I have read two of the books that make up this set, so I am going to go ahead and post a review for those, and then will update my review as I read each of the others.  I am really looking forward to reading all of them.

Read, Write, Love at Seaside by Addison Cole:

After reading this book, I want to move to the Cape and become part of Leanna's group of fun friends. I also have to wonder if there might be another man around there like Kurt. He is such a wonderful, sexy man. Their relationship is such a sweet romance. It is very flirty, with just a little heat, that makes our imagination go wild. I loved this book. It was such a fun, but oh, so romantic story.

Dreaming at Seaside by Addison Cole:

I really loved this book. I love single dads. I love sexy, hunky, policemen. I love the crazy ladies and men of Seaside. I love books written by Addison Cole. This book is a win-win-win-win. After teaching middle school for 30 years, I loved having Caden's son, Evan, in this book. It is rare to have a teenaged son in a romance, but he added so much emotion to the story. The ladies and men from Seaside are very entertaining, and will bring lots of laughter to the book. The way that Caden meets Bella for the first time had me laughing so hard, and this is at the beginning. I really want to move to Seaside and join them, but since that can't happen I will be planning to read every book in this series. Then, there is the author, Addison Cole. She can really write. This book has just the right amount of sweet with heat. She had me so pulled into the story, I cried for the last 20% of the book. Some were happy and some were sad, but all were worth it.

The perfect Sweet Love box set for all romance lovers.

Read, Write, Love at Seaside

Addison Cole's Read, Write, Love at Seaside is the perfect romantic read to introduce you to the fun-loving, carefree girls of Seaside. Leanna is creative, disorganized and bold an, she is relatable as a character and you instantly warm to her. You are introduced to close-knit circle of friends and their antics will have you laughing out loud and feeling like a part of their girl gang.

Kurt is sweet, considerate and a born writer who escapes to Seaside for a break and writing time. He unexpectedly encounters Leanna, and despite them being opposites they instantly connect. Their romance is sweet, fun loving and there are lots of swoon-worthy moments, and any new readers to Cole's work will not be disappointed.

Dreaming at Seaside:
Bella is my favorite out of the Seaside girls and is introduced to you from Read, Write, Love at Seaside. She has a wicked sense of humor and is the most scandalous. She loves pranks and always goes above and beyond to outdo herself, never thinking she would end up meeting the man of her dreams on the way. Despite her humor, you learn that Bella has a softer more sensitive side that she reserves for the one and only Caden.

Caden is the right man to take on Bella and is instantly attracted to her sassy side. He is the right balance for her and you fall in love not just with him but his son.

I am yet to read the rest of the box set, but they have started with the perfect combination of books to suit all chick-lit and romance lovers.

Read, Write, Love at Seaside

I loved this book. There was so much fun and entertainment on every page. I quickly fell in love with the Seaside girls...they are fun loving and charismatic and ban together for all the action, they are each other's support system. In comes a brooding writer and..well we fall in love with him pretty quickly too. His whole world is turned upside down as opposites attract in the best of ways. Leanna can't seem to figure out her life plan and Kurt is anything but living life one moment at a time...he's got all his ducks in a row. When the two come together in an effort to save Pepper never could they have imagined how life would change in an instant. I couldn't put the book down I really enjoyed every last moment. Can't wait for more Seaside romances.

Dreaming at Seaside

Oh how I love this book. It's fun loving nature and quirky moments are great. Bella is a charismatic gal with a goal to figure out how to make life work at the Cape. When she meets Caden she's stunned into silence they quickly find that they are drawn to eachother so smoothly. No matter how much she swears off men, she can't stay away. No matter what trickery she finds herself in, Caden looks the other way and falls helplessly for his carefree lady. Together they bring a fun summer romance book to life and we add to the Seaside Community. Love love love this series.

Sweet Love on Main Street is an excellent collection of books by various authors.

Read, write and Love at the seaside by Addison Cole.

DREAMING AT SEASIDE by Addison Cole

ADAM by Chris Keniston
A wonderful beginning to a new series by Chris Keniston. I absolutely love the reference to Seven Brides, I laughed out loud! I cannot wait to read more about the Farraday family and their wonderful, all knowing, aunt.

BROOKS by Chris Keniston
Toni is in town visiting for Meg's wedding to Adam. Toni and Meg have been friends for years, but Toni has slowly disappeared over the years. Toni's visit is more than for the wedding. She realized she cannot accept the emotional and physical abuse from her husband any longer. His leaving on a business trip at the same time throws her plan ahead of schedule, but she will take what she can get. Brooks loves being a doctor and wants what he sees Adam has, the love of his life. He does not expect Toni, beautiful but married. I love the Farraday family and cannot wait to read each of the siblings' stories.

Read, Write, Live at Seaside- Leanna and Kurt are as opposite as two people could be. But a fateful day outside his Cape Cod cottage attracts them to each other. They can't stay away from one another and even though Kurt lives and breathes for his writing career, Leanne helps him find there is more to life. The characters are so great and very relatable. There is just enough spice in this book too! You are sure to enjoy this book and wish you were reading it Capeside!

Dreaming at Seaside- What a very sweet romance between 2 people not looking for love! Caden and Bella are both in the Cape for different reasons, both starting fresh. But late one night Caden crosses Bella's path as they are prancing a neighbor. Caden is immediately shocked by his reaction to her and knows he has to see her again. Thankfully Bella puts her no commitment rule aside to see where their relationship can go. I loved all the characters in the story and the friendships the group have. Can't wait to read more from this author!!

Adam - Having grown up in a small town (about 3500) I loved the small town setting of this book. Adam is such a great guy. Meg is a run away "almost" bride who ends up stranded on the side of the rode and guess who is her white knight? Great start to the series. Can't wait to read about the rest of the brothers and sister.

Brooks - Toni has come to town to attend Meg & Adam's wedding. She and Brooks meet and sparks fly. I really like Adam book 1 and loved how Adam and Meg are included in this book as well as Connor who book 3 is about. I think the author is a great writer and I have enjoyed many of her books. I do have one complaint, and this is strictly my opinion, Toni is married and she and Brooks kiss. I realize her husband is abusive and much more but she still shouldn't cheat. That being said, I really liked her and Brooks is such a sweet guy.

Doggone Romance - Great start!! Such a cute romance. Kelly and Rick get wrapped up in each other - literally - well there are dogs involved. Such an adorable town. Can't wait to read the next one.

Super sweet book by Addison Cole. Book is about Kurt and Leanna. Kurt is at the cape to write his next book. He is a super neat and very focused guy. Leanna comes to Seaside for the summer like she has done most of her life. She is a free spirited hot mess. They are complete opposites but can not deny their attraction for each other. Leanna has turned Kurt's world upside down thanks to her dog pepper. Great read!!

This is the sweet with heat Seaside summers series by Addison Cole. Book is about Bella Abbascia. She is resident prankster of Seaside. She is very outgoing. Caden Grant is a cop. This collection of 7 books plus a flirt is not only a great value but you get books from 4 amazing authors. I’ve read the two books from Addison Cole and they are great.

In Read, Write, Love at Seaside we meet Kurt and Leanna and of course Pepper. This is one of my favorite books from Addison Cole. I truly loved Leanna’s quirkiness put with Kurt and his serious nature and of course we can’t forget Leanna’s dog Pepper. We also get to meet our friends we will come to know and love. With Dreaming at Seaside we get to see what happens between Bella and Caden and of course our friends are always along for the ride. I really enjoy that with each book that we get to know more and more about out Seaside friends and in my opinion they become more than friends on our reading journey, they become family.

I can’t wait to read the other selections by the amazing authors Chris Keniston, Nancy Naigle and RaeAnne Thayne.

I’ve read only the first book in this set so far.
Addison Cole’s Read Write Love is about serious disciplined author Kurt Remington who writes dark thriller novels, loves exercise and has his world is turned upside down when he meets Leanna Bray who by her own admission is the “most unorganised, forgetful, whim-seeking person on earth” and her fluff ball dog Pepper. The description as they fall in love “…she needed to feel his heart beating against hers. Being in Kurt’s arms stole the emptiness from her heart …” was one of the most beautiful lines I can recall from any recent book.
There are fun flirty characters who are Leanna’s seaside friends and Kurt’s family. Leanna’s seaside friends also feature in the second book. I have only just started this box set and I’m captivated. I’ve read some of the authors in the set and I’m excited about the remaining books.
If sweet romance is for you, you won’t regret getting this box set.

Read, Write, Love at Seaside

You will enjoy Addison Cole's first book. It's sweet and will get you in the mood for summer, the beach and great friends. A great intro into the Seaside gang. Kurt is a writer, Leanna is a free spirit. These two couldn't be more opposite but you can't help but cheer them on. Addison brings out the sweet and sexy without over doing it. Can't wait for the next one.

Dreaming at Seaside

Back among friends. A sweet read by Addison Cole. This book is about Bella and Caden. Bella is wondering what to do with her life while she is in limbo, and Caden is a sexy cop with a son. They meet while Bella is up to some of her tricks around Seaside. Their chemistry is there from the beginning. If you are look for a sweet summer read this one is for you.

I have read the entire box set which l really enjoyed. I am leaving a review for 2 of the books in the box set.
Read, Write, Love At Seaside by Addison Cole.
Leanna is a mess literally, her life is disorganised and she is still not sure what her plans for a career are at or where she will even be after the summer. Kurt is a bestselling thriller author, he is methodical and neat. Leanna and her dog Pepper fall into Kurt’s life when he saves them both from a storm. They are total opposites but can offer each other their love. Is Leanna and Kurt to different for a HEA?
Dreaming At Seaside by Addison Cole.
Bella is at her favourite place Seaside Cottages in Wellfleet for the summer, she has quit her job, sold her house and sworn off men. Caden is a single father and the newest member of the police force in Wellfleet. They both feel the chemistry but do they get their HEA?
