Sissy's Romance Book Review
Falling for the Knight by Cecelia Mecca is book Two in the Enchanted Falls series. This is the story of Hannah and Tristan. I haven't yet read the previous book, so for me this was a standalone book.
Hannah and her sister head to Scotland to fulfill a dream their parents had. When they jump off an enchanted waterfall, when Hannah awakes she is in a different time. Being a independent business women in times of old is something she can't believe. Tristan is the Lord who comes to investigate a wom
The books are too similar and quite repetitive.

I'm back with another time travel romance.  Can you tell I want Outlander to get here already?  I'm also being bad and reading out of order because this is book 2 in a trilogy.  The great thing?  I'll go back and pick up book 1 because I really enjoyed this one.

The premise of this series is about three sisters traveling to Scotland on the anniversary of their parents death to fulfill the wish they had of traveling there.  When they jump of an enchanted waterfall they are transported back in tim

Enjoyable time travel story. Tristan and Hannah are both strong characters with minds of their own. Coming from different centuries sometimes makes communication difficult but Hannah soon wins Tristan’s people over. I felt for Hannah when she didn’t know where her sisters were. Will she stay with Tristan? I loved the ending and encourage time travel lovers to read this story.

Falling for the Knight is the second book in the Enchanted Falls trilogy by Cecelia Mecca. Book 1 in this trilogy is from Emma Prince and book 3 is written by Keira Montclair. Each book concentrates on one of three sisters whisked back in time at an enchanted waterfall. Each book can be read as a standalone one, but I think once you read this one you will definitely want to read the others.

Cecelia's book centres on Hannah Sutton. She is a successful businesswoman who likes her independence. Her

After reading the first book in this Enchanted Falls trilogy, I could not wait to read Cecelia's story! I knew it would be an amazing tale as all of her books! She has a gift for making you feel you are there with the characters and yes, feel their emotions.
Hannah and her two sisters had gone to Scotland and on their last day, jumped off the falls to the water below. Even with her fear of heights, she wanted to be a part of this last adventure. But when she surfaces, she is washed ashore at Sax

This is the Second book in this series and I would say it’s a must , best to read Falling for the Highlander first , you will get the ultimate experience of this wonderful series if you do .
Cecelia Mecca writes this book with such insight into the Medieval world , it’s a stunning adventure, that takes you on a trip from present day Scotland to the year 1394 Northumbria, and unites you with the Lord and inhabitants of Saxford Castle .

These are honestly more long novellas than true novels. They're so quick, I feel like I'm devouring them. But they're good!

I would like to thank the author for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Hannah is the middle sibling in this time traveling trilogy, she and her sisters jump into mystical falls and find themselves transported back in time to medieval Scotland and England. Tristan is the lord of Saxford Castle and does not expect to find a women mysteriously appear on a nearby beach. What a steady-paced, tension-filled read. I love time travel stories (as long as they go back in time) and this one promises to take the reader back with it. I was amazed at how the author can switch between centuries with the characters' thoughts not missing a beat on what they could be feeling or thinking with the truth of their time period.

Hannah, on a whim, had jumped from the enchanted falls with her two sisters regardless of her fear of heights. She wakes up washed ashore on a beach below

Saxford Castle sizzles in the Enchanted Falls series Book 2!

The passion soars as the conflict grows for Sir Tristan, Lord of Saxford Castle and Hannah Sutton, recent reluctant time traveler in Cecelia Mecca's Book 2 of the Enchanted Falls series.

While not saturated with "action adventure," the book focuses heavily on the relationship between the two main characters, Tristan and Hannah and their seemingly impossible dilemmas.

As Sir Tristan is faced with the near end of a peace treaty with his lon

I always love a book series by different authors who write around a central theme. And if it is a time-travel story, all the better. Falling For The Knight has it all: adventure, mystery, romance, hot and steamy scenes, action and even a little magic thrown in. The storyline follows three sisters from Maine who travel through time when they jump into a magic waterfall and get separated. The transition from modern to medieval times felt very realistic. How do you convince a suspicious knight that ...more

A romance that wrenches on the heart, this historical romance finds Hannah falling through the centuries when she jumps off a waterfall with her sisters. Her bemusement at finding herself on a beach surrounded by warriors from another age is so realistic that one experiences all her feelings and emotions. Tristan, a man who has earned the right to be called “Lord” through his heroism, is suspicious of the woman dressed in strange clothing, a strange way of speaking and an even stranger tale to t ...more

Hannah falls back in time and Tristan finds her. It takes him awhile to believe that she is from the future and not just crazy. He is Laird of his clan and wants to help her get back to her sisters. The connection and chemistry grows between the two as they try to solve the puzzle of getting Hannah back to her time. Tristan becomes protective of Hannah as she tries to fit in with his clan. Great series

I have to admit I was a little skeptical about time travel as its not my favorite but have been pleasantly surprised by this series. This is the second in the series but can be read alone. This story is about the oldest sister Hannah. She and her sisters go to Scotland a year after their parents death. They jump off a cliff above a waterfall and each ends up in a different location. Hannah wakes up on a beach near the castle of Lord Tristan. He does not know what to do with her and

What a wonderful way to travel back in time. Falling For The Knight by Cecelia Mecca is the 2nd book in the Enchanted Falls Trilogy and is a medieval time travel story. Cecelia has such a wonderful way of writing and her characters just come alive. Her descriptions are amazing that you can picture the whole story in your mind including the expressions on their faces. This story has a delightful humor to it and at times i found myself laughing out loud. Poor Hannah is a strong will and successful ...more

Fantastic Trilogy so far

5 stars. I enjoyed this book as I do all her books. I thought it started out not knowing how this could ever work out happily. It was a magical beginning, and followed their relationship through seemingly impossible odds. The best part was learning to love theses two. Tristan was such a honest, kind, honorable, gentle person. He came from a very poor beginning to end up as a Lord, who earned the respect of his mentor and his people. It followed Tristan and Hannah’s journe

I will admit to being a fan of Cecelia Mecca and I’ve read all her books in her Border series. So, when I found out she had a new book was coming out AND it was a time traveler story, I couldn’t resist getting a copy.

Likes: I’m a huge of period romances and add in a bit of fun with time travel and you will have my interest. The characters are all likeable. The story progresses well (mostly). It’s not an insta-attraction. Dislikes: The end of the story, before the epilogue, seemed way too rushed

This is the first book by Ms Mecca and I was very impressed. It is the second in the series (Enchanted Falls trilogy). Although the main characters are sisters, each has their own strengths and each story is different in their experiences once they have come through the portal. This is the first series I have read, written by different authors where the story is totally connected using the same story line and characters and (Spoiler Alert), meet up in the end. I enjoyed again how the difference ...more

I love a well-thought-out, smartly-written time travel romance, and this book is exactly that and more. Hannah and Tristan's story was just Medieval romance perfection! I did not want it to end! I am now eager to read the companion stories about Hannah's sisters, as well. (Falling for the Highlander by Emma Prince and Falling for the Chieftain by Keira Montclair)

Although this can technically be read as a standalone, it is best when read in order, as part of the 3-book series. There is a mini cl

I fell for this knight

Book 2 in the Enchanted Falls trilogy, Falling for the Knight, was all I hoped for after reading Book 1, Falling for the Chieftain. Cecelia Mecca can write a scene that pulls you right into it. I could see and feel the medieval culture. Her research into that era is impeccable and her characters are endearing. The book is not too short, but I wished it was longer just because I enjoyed it so much and did not want it to end. Caroline and Callum (Book 1) were my favorites, t

The knight is for love

After the three sisters jumped into Leannan Falls, Hannah found herself on a beach . . . In 1394 . . . wearing shorts and a tank top. She was surrounded by men in medieval dress with swords. She is astonished to have awakened in the midst of some kind of reenactment.

Tristan, the laird of Saxford Castle, scoops her up and hurries her to the castle where is given appropriate clothing. She is dismayed that her sisters are not with her but has no idea how to explain who she is

Lord Tristan Saxford lives on the border between England and Scotland.  Not the most peaceful place to make a home.
The truce between his overlord and the Sutherland Laird is coming to an end.  That makes everyone suspicious of strangers.
Hannah Sutton was on a special holiday with her sisters when,  stupidly she agreed to jump off the waterfall with them.  She did not expect to travel back hundreds of years to medieval Northumbria.
A very amusing time travel romance with fabulous characters. T

This is an unusual trilogy of books as each one is written by a different author, and centred on one of three sisters.
This is Hannah's story when she is whisked back in time after jumping from a waterfall she meets Tristan, Lord of Saxford, at first when she wakes and sees the soldiers she thinks she is at some sort of re-enactment until it becomes very clear that is not the case, now she needs to find out where her sisters are and needs to convince Tristan what she says to him is true and needs

Similar to first book, but I enjoyed it!

As much as I really want to enjoy this, it's really similar to the first book. What I really did enjoy was how Hannah would explain the present terms to Tristan. It was funny. Lol Tristan was so sweet when he wanted to take Hannah out on a date. I love how Hannah is still her independent woman. During medieval times, woman can't voice their own opinions, but Hannah didn't back down. When they're together, you just can't help but smile. At times, I'm like,
