Most of this book is just about short story skills generally. If that is what you want then it's worth buying. It is now - of course - a bit out of date on market information. I would have given it 3 stars if it had been recently published.
I felt that it was a little patronising at times what with its many headings and case studies that reiterated some of the points that were made. However, it did make some good points and provided some good ideas for you to get started, especially if you write flash fiction.
