Well.......

Started out really well, but at a certain point for me the story seem to go at warp speed. Also, the whole human/shifter problem was a bit confusing for me. I think more time and explanation is needed in this area. However, this could just be a me thing.

I’ve never read a Crista Crown book before so this author was new to me. I’m sure I will check out more books from Crista in the future when I see them recommended. I’ve got a bunch of Susi Hawke’s books now though and in my opinion this one was definitely another book in the win column for Susi.

Susi’s books are always light and sweet and fluffy fun to Read and/or Listen to. If you’ve read any of those you could see where the collaboration of another author came into play for this one. I’ve rec

This book was hilarious. So, generic Alpha embodies every meathead stereotype.... MISSION FIRST, STAY ON TASK SOLDIER!! He fucks things up, knows he’s fucked things up and the great big ape stands there, scratching his head wondering what could possibly have gone wrong and doing nothing to fix it. He says nothing to the Omega about future plans, becomes standoffish after the mating and then just assumes the Omega will instinctively know he plans for them to live in his house after he completes t ...more

I'm not sure if Susi Hawke is trying a new writing style or this is Crista Crown's influence.

I'm the beginning of the book the sexual banter going back and forth between the A.L.P.H.A. group was unexpected. I understand that that can be the way soldiers talk but it seemed out of place. That's just my take on that.

Moving on, the story was interesting shifter politician, money laundering for "humans" and Omega trafficking.

Noah is the "baby" boss man of A.L.P.H.A. who finds his mate on

And another DNF. A bitchy, whiny diva omega surrounded by smirky alpha males is not my idea of a good time.

Simply Amazing

I'm not even surprised that I love this book as much as I do. I'm not even surprised that I read it straight through and didn't move my butt off my couch one time (I really have to pee and I can't feel one of my butt cheeks 😞)

This was such a good book. I was completely enraptured from the first word to the last. I didn't skim a single part.

💙Noah was the perfect alpha male. He's somewhat broody, doesn't really think some things through before he acts and is extremely possessive.

It was a cute enough story.

I enjoy Omega mpreg stories, this one was just okay. Preston was spoiled and Noah seemed a little dense.

I think this story would have been better with more world building and more of an actual story.

It was cute enough that I will read the next book because it is free with my KU.

Nice short read

This was a nice quick read.... The characters were ok and the plot was simple and easy to follow .... Off to book 2

So cute and heartwarming!

This is a series that'll either have you laughing until you cry or crying from the emotions and love the alphas and omegas in these pages are able to evoke. Well detailed and thrilling, the hints of criminal and/or militaristic espionage are impressive with their accuracy and complexity. The best part of this series is the omegaverse element: alpha-omega fated mates who are two halves of a whole, male pregnancy, and the baby make this better than fairytales. Five stars a

I love Preston!
He was so lost and all over the place with parties and getting crazy... But everything has a reason, and the reason for his behaviour, was his stupid of a father... Everything changes when his mate finds him... He totally open up... but not everything happens as planned...
Noah was not expecting to find his mate... specially when and where he found him... But he has no clue in how to treat his mate and he can put it all in jeopardy if he does not learn that his mate needs attention

While I liked the introduction to this world, the romance didn't work well for me.

We get Preston as a self centered rebellious party boy and then kidnapped and then fated mate. And then changes with the pregnancy. Very little character development and a ton of events instead.

Noah has great parents and is good at his job but we really don't get much of a sense of him.

I liked it enough to try the next one in my sad hunt for a good mpreg book.

DNF. Dubious distinction of all characters being obnoxious and annoying. Cheesy and gross dialogue (“Can I get down now? I'm sick of smelling your ass. If you fart, so help me… I'm kicking you in the balls so hard you'll sing soprano, brute." Seriously? Was this written by an 8 year old?).

Baaaaaad.

What a great little nugget.
Very well done story.
I’m not sure about how I feel about the narration
But some how it worked.

Cute if sometimes awkward

I have to admit that at first this was going to be a three star review, but by the end I pushed it up a bit. There were moments in the story that had me “wtf” but there were also some really humorous moments as well. Preston and Noah are decent characters, but j really loved Noah’s parents. I’d love to see their love story in the future.

I think if this book had been more developed and events didn’t happen literally instantly, I would have given it five stars. Or if the

I couldn't think of whether i should give this book a 2 or a 2.5. There were some things that I enjoyed such as the commadarie betweenenjoy and his team but I absolutely did not enjoy the romance or the plot of this book. I usually don't mpreg novels unless they are written well and this novel was not one that I would ever pick up again. I will not be continuing the series because I did not care about any of the other characters. The romance between noah and preston was virtually non existant I ...more

Shifter Alpha/Omega MPREG romance

2 stars

I wanted to like this one but it was so very bad. All surface and no substance. The MCs never had any actual dialogue. I get that it was fast (being fated mates) but they still have to talk and the talking can't happen "off screen". It can't just fade to black every time a real conversation is going to happen!

Also why is this ALPHA team a bunch of bafoons! They got almost nothing right on the first mission. It would have been a complete bust without the

Great first book in series

Susi and Crista have written a wonderful first book in this new series of shifter Mpreg stories. There is a team of alphas whose purpose in life is to rescue omegas who are in terrible situations. Apparently in this universe shifters are "bad guys" so they operate as humans but, of course, when necessary they shift to use those talents they have when they are in their animal side. The Omega who is rescued here has a really nasty politician father who is active in lots o

Alpha rescue his fated omega!

Wow! This book was so fun to read, hard to put down and the story line was new and exciting to get into.

Character breakdown;

Preston: this is one omega that I found interesting to say the least. I loved his sass from the beginning could have done without the spoil brattiness. But it worked for him and the way he fought no matter what was a plus.

Noah: I loved the way he greeted Preston and the nickname was too darn cute lol. Also that faint episode at the end was too f

I didn't understand Preston's ways at first (drugs and partying) especially with him being an omega. However, once his father showed up in the story, I could see why Preston was so very lost. His father was a very diabolical man, and I do wish that he'd have had a much harsher ending, because I feel like he will still find ways to conduct his own evil (and very illegal) activities. Once Noah finds Preston, the story begins to touch my heart. I wish I could have learned a little bit more about th ...more

For adult readers
Noah is the leader of his shifter team. Noah's team has come together to help any omega who needs help and to help protect the shifter world.
These types of books always spark my curiosity, I mean, imagine if a man could really carry and deliver a child....that would be awesome! Anyway this mixes a military feel with a paranormal romance. I like how the big, and military alpha gets all gooey and emotional when comes to his mate and this alpha's reaction at the birth of Amelia was

Story was well written but, I got a little frustrated with the time jumps. I kept having to figure out how much time had passed between ‘scenes’.

I’m still fairly new to both shifter and mpreg but, so far, so good. I would have liked more of an explanation of the child birth but, other than that, I really enjoyed this book and will continue with the series.

Who Knew! I am not one for liking shifter books but Grabbed literally grabbed me and didn't let go till I finished it!! Preston was very snarky and super sassy while Noah is very down to earth. They are fated mates and that was all there was to it. Action and adventure are following and the other Alpha's and Noah's dads are all part of this happily ever after. Maybe my expectations were too high...

I wanted to like this book better than I did. I don't understand why the team of vigilantes chose not to follow their basic creed of protecting shifters by completely removing Tierney. Allowing him to retire does nothing to prevent him from continuing to break both human and shifter laws and to put both groups in danger. At the very least, I would have expected them to decide that the STAHP plan had merit and completely destroy his credibility and his source

Noah & Preston’s book.

This is the first book in the Team ALPHA series. I enjoyed this one. It’s a short, easy read. The team of guys have a fun sense of humor. Noah’s dads are cute and have a such a sweet family dynamic. It has all the staples of an alpha/omega book (fated mates, knotting, heat, mpreg). I feel it important to mention that there is drug use (in a party atmosphere) in the prologue in case that is a trigger for you. Luckily it is only in the very beginning and it isn’t a common

I'm a total fan of M/PREG Paranormal Romances, first and foremost as a reader. I'm excited to share my own omegaverse(s) with you. What's not to love about adorable Omegas and the Alpha men who love them? If I'm not writing about men sporting baby bumps, I'm definitely reading about them!
