When the author submitted this for review, I read the excerpt and thought it looked pretty cute so I gave it a try. And it turns out there are some cute parts, but I also had a few reservations which I’ll get into in a minute. Noel gets hit with cupid’s arrow, which gives her a man named Grayson as her soul mate. Grayson is very attractive and charming, but the big problem is – Noel is engaged to a man named Len. Because Noel is now mated to Grayson, they must get together every so often to have ...more

One jaded woman. Two hot men. A challenge to prove Cupid doesn't always know best.

After a lifetime of dating losers, Noel Chase thinks she’s found love with college professor Len Holder. But Cupid's aim sucks worse than his crap-tacular curse, sticking her with supposed soul mate, Grayson Adler. Grayson is gorgeous, Greek, and an exact replica of the man-whores of her past. No matter what the chubby cherub thinks, Noel is sure Grayson is Mr. Wrong with

Thoughts: I liked this story but Noel was a little too stubborn about being paired up with Grayson. Granted it was explained at the end but man, I totally fell for Grayson over and over again as the story continued and could not for the life of me figure out why Noel didn't. Although his stalker like tendencies were a little disconcerting but it was never creepy and he was willing to do

This book was such a fun read. I love the humor and the snark. I love the love story and I love how it plays on the myth of Cupid.

What a great introduction to an author! This is a great story of a couple who was hit with Cupid's arrows and also have to help him get other couples together. Noel is paired with Chase who seems to be the same as all the bad choices she's made in her past plus she's with Len who's who she wants to be with. Unfortunately, Cupid seems to think Len should be with another woman but Noel knows best and that he should be with her, right? But could Chase be different?

A really enjoyable story that captures the heart from the first page. The idea of soulmates isn't uncommon but I really enjoyed the approach the author took.
The journey of self discovery and love for the main character felt real and it was easy to connect to.
I definitely can't wait to read more from this author. She really captures your attention from the first page and never lets it go till the very end.

Passion for the wrong man. Even Cupid is trying to tell her she picked the wrong man, but a god must be wrong. So it will take a lot of work and love for her soul mate to prove he is the one. But when she takes too long, will his heart still be waiting for her?

Turned out to be a pleasent fun read

So first off I was looking for recommendations and this was one I got. At first I was like wow this might be a little to racey for me, however I kept reading and before I knew it I wanted to keep reading. There were some very hot moments in this book and there was some fun and excitment with romance and a bit of a triangle. If you give this a try and have an open mind you may also find it a fun read.

This was a tough book for me as I wanted to love these characters but Noel sleeping with grayson due to being "forced" to by Cupid, while engaged to Len had me struggling. The dynamics were well written and developed the story for me was just not what I had hoped for and I found myself struggling to finish. That being said the writing is well-done and developed throughout, if you like the paranormal, mated style romances you will not be disappointed in Jen's writing in the least. Despite this no ...more

How often do we fight our fate?
Is it impossible for our human minds to accept what best for us? Kicking and screaming to the succulent buffet handed to us. Seems like it is a common trait. Makes me wonder if Cupid's arrow hit me now would my heart open?

Cupids arrows

Love the twists and turns this story takes. Watching as true love wins out over all. Seeing how things play out in Noel's head before she finally sees her true path.
This one was 50/50 deal for me.

50% of the time I enjoyed this fun, somewhat lighthearted adventure and I ADORED Grayson! I'll get to that in a minute.

The other 50% of the time I was SO frustrated with Noel. When the book started Noel, the female MC, was completely and utterly selfish and self-centered. She was living with her boyfriend of two years and then Eros struck her with an arrow and soul mated her with Grayson. But unfortunately, Grayson was like so many of her previous boyfriends, that

Struck By Eros is the first book in the Redeeming Cupid Series by Jenn Windrow. It follows the stormy relationship of Noel, who becomes engaged to Len, the man she considers the man of her dreams. There's only one problem. Cupid has chosen a soul mate for her, and it's not Len. Grayson is the type of playboy that Noel wants nothing to do with. He's extremely handsome, attracts women wherever they go, and most importantly, reminds her of her exfiance, the man who left her at the altar in order to ...more
What would you do if Cupid matched you with the wrong man? For Noel, the answer is easy - fight it with everything you've got. Noel had been with safe, dependable Len for two years when Cupid matches her with Grayson, a charmer with a pretty face and everything she's NOT looking for in a man.

I found this to be a cute read, fun and quick and mostly lighthearted. I liked both Grayson and Noel, and I particularly enjoyed their dialogue with each other. It was fun to see them stuck working with each

OK do at first I was sure I'd like this. Noel and Grayson was hit by cupids arrow and now are meant to be together. But Noel already was in a relationship, a safe one that her heart won't get broken. This is the the reason I wasn't to keen at first. She is in love with Len but because of the cupid arrow her and Grayson are connected. For life but also they are sleeping together. Yep and after her past she is keeping Len. As I read this more I actually starting feeling for her and understanding w ...more

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review.
Cupid shoots Noel & Grayson in the butt leading them to each other as destined soulmates but Noel literally had me with my head in my hands groaning out loud with her pigheadedness and refusal to see what was right in front of her, how can you contemplate walking away from smoking chemistry like that. Grayson is everything any girl could want in a soulmate, kind, generous of spirit, funny, patient and by all a

This is one of those reviews you write with a grin on your face. Noel is paired by Cupid (yes, that Cupid) to work with a guy she can't stand, Grayson Adler. Grayson is hot. Smokin, unapologetically hot. No wonder the heroine can't resist him despite her great efforts. Okay. Maybe she didn't try THAT hard, but she's a girl carrying the burden of a once-broken heart. And we all know how difficult it is to get past that kind of hurt. So, Noel (our fiesty, sardonic, hilarious heroine), go ahead hon ...more

This novel was a fast paced, easy reading book where you jump right into the story and start swimming to keep up. Although the writing style is metaphor heavy and I got a sense of starting halfway through the story, it rounded out quite well with a nice twist at the very end. In some ways, it was predictable, because I read a lot of novels, and I found that the confrontation between Len and Grayson on the porch was heavy-handed and made Grayson a less sympathetic character, I had no issue seeing ...more

When the man you want isn't the one you need and the one you need is the last man alive that you'd ever want, life is bound to be a little... challenging. This is the situation Noel finds herself in and we get to join her on this sometimes hilarious journey of self-discovery as she learns which man really is her true match: Len or Grayson. I enjoyed watching Noel's strengths and I enjoyed it even more when she was able to let down her walls and let us see what made her the remarkable woman she i ...more

I started reading this book and couldn't put it down. It mad many twist I didn't expect and an ending ,anyone who has a heart will rejoice for.

What do you do when you love someone because they stamp out your wild hairs and organize your life? You try to find a way to shove cupids arrow up his own back side. And when that doesn't work? You pick up this book and not stop reading, because well, you can't.

I voluntarily read a gifted copy.

This is a fun read about a woman who thinks she knows what she needs but love and life have a different plan for her. She is matched by Cupid with a man that she fears will break her heart. Instead, she clings to the man her head tells her will be safe. There is a lot of fun banter throughout the story as she works thru her issues and tries to find her true love.I enjoyed the story and the characters.

Even Cupid makes mistakes.

Noel thinks she has found her perfect match until Cupid sends her in a different direction. Once she is struck by Cupid's arrow, she finds herself feeling pulled. She is fighting tooth and nail against it. While helping a girl, she realizes that in her struggle to stay away from the "bad boy", she has changed.

Will she stop fighting and open her heart one more time? Can Cupid really find true soul mates?

This is a great funny story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this highly entertaining story. The resistance that Noel exhibits to destiny was quite amusing. Even though I guessed at the inevitable outcome, I loved being able to escape into this book and flow along Noel's journey. I allowed myself to feel the emotions as they rolled off the pages. A wonderful tale of overcoming ending with a beautiful HEA. Although a standalone, just the perfect touch of more to come is there. This voluntary review is based against an advance copy.
First I was a little confused on which side I would pull, Len's or Greyson's. Noel's world is such a mess, but I get the message. Sometimes you don't see happiness or love in front of you, because fear is blinding you and safe is better than risk again. But then you can miss something important. And be yourself. Don't change for nobody.
It's good story, added with a little mythology and romance triangle mess.

Amazing book! I was hooked into the narrative right away, and stayed with it until the very end. Windrow's characters are endearing and well-rounded. The story is definitely sexy and snarky, as advertised, but also funny, dramatic, sensitive, emotional, and edge-of-your-seat suspenseful. Struck By Eros has plenty of sex, snark, humor, and drama, but it's also a story with heart. Pick this one up as soon as you can. You won't be disappointed.

Okay, so let me start with the fact that I'm a huge Greek Mythology geek. That element is what attracted me to this series. I liked this story it was sweet, romantic, sexy and sometimes laugh-out-loud funny. I loved Grayson! However, the lead heroine, Noel, was a bit annoying in her obsessing and her selfishness. This book probably could have used some editing as it felt a touch too long but I still liked it as a whole. I requested a copy from the author so that I could post an honest review.

Noel I think she has the man that she will love until Cupid decides to mess with her plans and connect her with another man which she thinks is completely wrong. She spends the whole book trying to fight the attraction that she has to him while trying to keep parts of her old life and Len. The problem is should she be with Grayson or should she be with Len? If you want to know the answer to that you have to read the book. I must admit this was a good book and you will enjoy it.
