I've started reading this and I was enthralled into the story of Parker and Kacee and their journey to their happily ever after; which was rocky at times and the obstacles they had to face had mainly to do with Parker and his inability to accept that it was okay to move on with his life, with his kids and Kacee, from his deceased wife.

This story had a little bit of everything in it to make it a good story. Parker, a man who's suffered a great loss, his beloved wife, is emotionally scarred and di

This is a must have read by Kelsey King that won't disappoint! Written so well and such a wonderful story that is realistic with terrific characters that it was so easy to be compelled to read it in one go. Parker is a single dad to Evie and Jackson after his wife died in a mugging. Now five years later he is really struggling to be both parents but his sister has an exceptional idea - get her best friend to act as nanny for him! I loved this book. I’m fast becoming a fan of Kelsey King. The story was well written and flowed smoothly with wonderful characters. Parker and Kacee bond over his two young children, Evie and Jackson. The author involved me in their journey in a way that made it difficult to put the book down. There are hurdles to overcome and a panicked retreat, but Parker and Kacee fight hard to find the happy ever after that they all deserve. I also appreciate an epilogue of a few years into the future to ge ...more

A single father needs a nanny for his two children. She is there for one week to prove she can be that nanny. But it turns out to become much more than that. Nanny stories are normally much alike each other but this one surprised me. I liked it a lot. Well written story with a nice storyline and plot. I like that the characters and how they develop.

I loved this book!! It was very well written and the characters were really well developed. Kacee is such a great person and handles the very difficult Parker really well. Parker is extremely over protective of his kids after the passing of his wife and doesn't any strangers near them or on his property. Kacee slowly wins his trust and they eventually fall in love and sneak around that the kids don't know. And then I am shocked! I won't say more. No critical spoilers in this review. A compelling read of loss, grief, and moving on. The story is well written, emotional, and heart wrenching. The plot is well developed and consistent with amazing character growth and development. The characters Parker and Kacee are strong and really great together, though the Parker is a bit broken from losing his wife. Their chemistry is hot and undeniable. This story will tug your heart strings, will make you smile, and will captivate and hold your interest until the end. It is a story you wi ...more

A nice easy romance story
I received a free copy of this book but all thoughts and views ar 100% my own.
This is a nice, sweet, little romantic story. It is one of those books that is easy to keep coming back to. However, personally, I prefer when there is more going on than just a romantic storyline and I found it all a little unbelievable as to how reserved, withdrawn and isolated we are lead to believe Parker was, to suddenly crumble after a week or two! I also didn't particularly like the repe

Such a sweet story of a widowed father trying to do the best he can for his two young children. His sister is trying to help him the best she can and brings in her best friend to help teach the children. It was a sweet love story that as they said in the book, they did everything backwards. The chemistry between Kacee and Parker was evident from the beginning and the love she has for Evie and Jackson, is too sweet. You will not be disappointed in this story.

It was a short story that easily read away. Because of the loss of his wife, Parker is in the mountains to protect his family. Kacee is his sister's best friend and has been trained to teach children and be a babysitter. The chemistry is right, but Parker does not dare to expose his feelings so quickly. You have to read the rest yourself ... of me 3 1/2 star. A short timeline ensures that it is all easy to follow and the story line is predictable, but that does not bother to read. Lovely story

What happens when a traumatized single dad agrees to allow a nanny to help with his kids? A sweet and steamy love story, of course!
I really enjoyed Parker and Kacee's story and liked the interaction with the children. I really liked that the couple always put the kids first and they weren't just background wallpaper! I thought the storyline flowed well and was written well and I look forward to more by this author!

We meet Parker and Kacee during this lovely story. Parker is still struggling with losing his wife years ago. Kacee is hired by Parker's sister and means well. The children are adorable and too cute for words. This is a great book.
