the lovely nicoledealart posted an exquisite fanart of two of the main characters on twitter and I was instantly ensnared. the claws! the blood!! a hot tip: if you want to get me emotionally invested in a book, a hot, long dark-haired character is the way to go.

fairytale retellings that are just a little bit twisted, a little bit awry and deal with the aftermath are my favourite type of retellings. let's just say 2020 is a long while away (if there are ARCs available then I will literally shed
i've got to stop reading summaries of books that aren't out yet bc this sounds SO FUCKING COOL and now i have to wait 2 YEARS to get the chance to confirm it
