Published in 1993, 'On Silver Wings - RAF Biplane Fighters Between the Wars' is an affectionate tribute to the 10 biplane fighter aircraft types operated by the RAF in the 20 years between the wars. Some interesting text on each type is accompanied by some superbly reproduced photos, and some well detailed 1/72 plans. With an average of 20 pages devoted to each type, this hardly does justice to these amazing aircraft, but there is plenty more detailed references out there if this inspires you. Enjoy.
