The Gist: Andrew's been smacked upside the head by a protester's sign. It was an accident! Swear! Instead of pressing charges? Well, Andrew decides she's exactly what he needs at his energy company. So he hires the enemy. Woo!
I liked Andrew. He's a workaholic and feeling worn thin at work but he's a good guy. Wants to do what's right, put a good foot forward, is dedicated. Never a hair out of place--he's the PR guy. And
Becca. Well she's a little frizzy, an activist, caretaker of any critter in need. She's a hardworker, too, and dealing with some insecurities.
They worked well together most of the time. I liked that they were what each other needed. A bit of an escape and someone they could be themselves around.
I was worried with her being an activist and honestly thought she caved and joined the enemy a little too easily but overall it worked. There was also a couple threads that were never dealt with-- she apparently had a run in with his dad years earlier and I would have liked that to be followed up on other than her just hating him.
My only issue was another overreaction by a heroine who cut and run when things got a little dicey.
