Hunter's Baby
The thing about being a Hunter is it gives you patience.
When I lost her, I bided my time.
I can’t forget her supple body, bending to my will. I can’t forget the youthful squeals of pleasure as she panted out my name. I can’t forget how she made me feel like a hero instead of dangerous man.
My sweet, innocent Blossom.
Then she was taken from me.
Anger fuelled me, and I became even more deadly.
Years have passed, and I’ve moved on with my work.
Keeping the world safer by killing those who seek to harm the innocent.
A vigilante.
But instead of finding her, she’s found me.
And with her comes a child with my blood pumping through her veins.
Just one more deadly game. Then she’ll be mine.
Then we’ll be a family.
This novel is a full length romantic suspense novel with no cliffhangers. Explicit language. Safe from cheating.

Blossom is far removed from her past. Physically, she works as a barista at the Lazy Bean, but mentally she's still that young girl starving for more. She had that once with a young man who, though rough around the edges, would do anything for her...up until things got out of control and their secret romance was taken away. Saying it was for the best but, in reality, it was the absolute worst. Blossom spent years searching for Hunter to no avail, finally giving up on a life with him and trying to move on.
Hunter never imagined, even in his wildest dreams, he'd run into Blossom, especially like this. He's hardened himself after his girl was taken from him. He's not the same man. Hunter is now a vigilante disposing of the most vile humans known to man. Gone is the carefree boy who lived to be with Blossom. Hunter would love nothing more than to be the man Blossom once knew. Blossom has moved on. She has a young daughter and, to Hunter, seems happy. He's dangerous. It's dangerous for her to be near him. Although he wishes things were different, it's time to leave the past where it belongs and continue what he's started. When Hunter finds out the real reason Blossom left, he's conflicted. Things become much more complicated than that. Blossom is in town doing research for a podcast she's developing about a possible serial killer. What she doesn't realize is that Hunter is in town also because he has some important business pertaining to the victim.
ACTION PACKED AND SUSPENSE FILLED, ORIGINAL STORYLINE WITH WELL DEVELOPED CHARACTERS ! PAGE AFTER PAGE, THE STORY FLOWED EFFORTLESSLY ! A MISSED OPPORTUNITY THAT RESULTS IN A SECOND CHANCE AT FOREVER ! 💕
INTENSE CHEMISTRY AND INSANE ATTRACTION THAT NEVER FADED AND REIGNITED WHEN THEY WERE FACE TO FACE AGAIN ! STEAMY, SEXY AND SCORCHING HOT !🔥
AMAZING STORY FROM START TO FINISH !

😍WOW WOW WOW😍
Love this second chance suspenseful novel by the one and only Alexis Abbott.
The world is not always black and white. There is the gray also and that is where Hunter comes in. Righting the wrong.
Then there is Blossom. Her and Hunter met years ago. Something happened that split them apart.
Now years later Blossom wants to be a true crime podcaster.
Oh I just fell in love with little Flora!!! With all her cute chubbiness 5 year old self.
Will Blossom and Hunter be able to stop the real villian before something happens to another innocent?
Go get Hunter's Baby to find out. Highly recommend.

Heart-wrenching Second Chances Thriller!!
Hunter and Blossom each had a hard start to life, and found solace in each other. When Blossom becomes pregnant her parents abruptly take her away imprisoning Blossom and her sister Sage until such a time as they can escape. Struggling to make ends meet, and create a decent life for her daughter, Blossom suddenly comes face-to-face with Hunter.
Hunter has turned to removing the scum of the earth, as he has learned that due process does not always work. After searching for years, he thought he would never find Blossom. Part of his quest was in her honor. Resigned to never having another relationship, Hunter felt he was no longer “worthy”. Can these two revive their relationship, and what will Hunter’s reaction be when he finds out he is the father of her daughter.
When the bad guys target their safety, will they be able to survive?
A touching story of danger, resilience and romance. Another compelling read from this author!

I enjoyed this story. It was different. Hunter and Blossom were together years ago and were pulled apart by her parents. They were separated and unable to locate one another and Hunter was unaware that she was pregnant. Blossom has since escaped her parents and is raising their child, still missing him. Hunter has taken a different road and is a vigilante, hunting evil in the world and getting rid of it in the name of keeping Blossom safe. He wants to make the world safer for her, even though he doesn't know where she's at, or ever expects to see her again. I thought the story was well written and interesting. I hadn't read a story with this take on a serial killer before. It's a little dark and a little twisted, but in a good way. The sex is explicit and consensual with the characters though no too often. A lot of other things come into play and need the time to tell the story. I thought that there were some good twists as well, ones that you won't quite see coming. This story is a good length without being too long and is enough that you get the story without feeling like things are rushed.

HUNTER’S BABY
Wow another awesome read. One thing that I’m definitely sure of is that this author never disappoints me, ever. This was an exciting and entertaining read but also emotional, as the story involves a few truths about what goes on in our world today. However there was a really sweet side to it as well, that I loved. Hunter and Blossom were the sweetest couple, and I loved them. They were lost to each other until fate stepped in. They have such an emotional connection and their chemistry was plain to see, they just fit together and were meant for each other. I really liked the secondary characters as well. So this story gets two thumbs up from me and I definitely recommend it. A copy was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book with my honest opinion.

This isn't one of Alexis Abbott's usual mafia stories and is a stand alone. An amazing Second Chance story without crazy drama added to it. Hunter and Blossom's relationship was not ended by their choice so when they find each other again their chemistry is still off the charts hot! They still love each other and neither of them are afraid to admit it. Hunter has a secret of a dark vigilante past and Blossom has to figure out if she is ok with his past. I absolutely love their relationship and hated to see this story end!

When a serial killer, Hunter, who only kills evil people who hurt others runs into the only woman, Blossom, he ever loved, their reunion is happy and a long time coming. The last time she saw Hunter was 5 years ago before she was whisked away by her parents and hidden because of her pregnancy, now years later the love she’s had for Hunter hasn’t died and has only grown now that he is in front of her. The news is shocking to Hunter about his daughter, Flora, but he is thrilled and finally has a family but his past comes back to haunt him and Blossom who is all about right may have a hard time when she finds out the truth about Hunter....even if he is the only one to protect them from harm.
A great great great read with steamy scenes, suspense, a vigilante and a mother who will do anything to protect her child. I loved this story and the best best best best part to me was that they both stayed true to one another....YES YES YES YES....what a relief and so so refreshing. Not only that but my oh my Hunter was perfect and I would want him in my corner, as well as Blossom, who even though she saw in black and white, there are times when the grey area makes more sense. These two were perfect for each other, five years ago and when they find each other again....highly recommended.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. This story gave me goosebumps all over and had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen. Hunter and Blossom’s story is dark, action packed, deliciously sexy, hot, undeniable explosive chemistry. Alexis takes us on a journey of second chances and the hope of making things right. Well for Blossom, her heart was broken when their relationship was ended and no matter how long she looked for him she decided to move on. Life has changed drastically for her and also for Hunter, he’s not the boy she knew, he’s now a man, he’s dangerous, and now living a life no one should be involved with. When these two see each other again, the spark and chemistry is still there, but so much has happened and his life is too dangerous for her, but how can you not tempt fate? Take a chance to be with that one person you loved with everything you have; can they get past what happened and how will Hunter feel after he finds out Blossom’s little secret? No spoilers here, this book was amazing, I floved it. It’s edgy, dark, twisted and outstanding writing again from Alexis. You don’t want to miss out on this one.

This is an excellent story and one I thoroughly enjoyed reading. An act of Fate reconnects Blossom and Hunter after a 5-year absence. Their love was denied when they were younger, but can they really have a life together when secrets hang in the balance. There are plenty of twists and turns that make this an intriguing story; certainly a book I would have no hesitation in recommending.
What Hunter is doing is making the world a better place; he is a concerned citizen standing up for the people who cannot stand up for themselves. Hunter often thinks of Blossom, wondering if she is safe and happy. Blossom had met Hunter at a crossroads in her life; he was a troubled, older man, who had been in and out of foster homes most of his life. Over the summer the two became close, until Blossom was sent away; it was a cruel punishment and no matter how hard Blossom searched for Hunter, she never found him, and he never found her either. Now Blossom is a 23-year old single mother, living with her daughter, Flora, and her sister Sage. Blossom works at the Lazy Bean as a barista, but one particular man is a prickly customer and she has been serving the obnoxious regular for years. Blossom knew his type immediately, instinctively, from the first day she met him and he has never proved her wrong. He was a man who hated women, especially young, pretty ones like her. Blossom’s dream is to become a journalist; starting her own podcast would be a way to break into the industry. Blossom wants to investigate the lilac murder for her new podcast; the murderer’s calling card intrigues Blossom and it is the reason for her impromptu weekend retreat. As Fate would have it, Blossom and Hunter cross paths again after 5-years apart; how will he act now, knowing he is Flora’s father? As time goes by, it feels like they have never left one another. For Blossom this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to reconnect and she doesn’t want to let Hunter go. He may be a different man to the one back then, but she is sure he would never do anything without good reason. Blossom is a different woman too, but cannot keep lying to herself about why she is here and the coincidence that brought her back to the man she loves. Blossom is determined not to lose Hunter again, but she needs answers. When Flora is nearly abducted, it is time for Hunter to reveal the truth, leaving his fate in Blossom’s hands. Meanwhile, a psychopath has been systematically targeting them relentlessly. Now it is time for Hunter to do what he does best; protect his family. Is there nothing Ms Abbott can not do? Jeez. Alexis is exceptional at her craft and I have never been as engrossed in any release as I was in Hunter's Baby. For me to tell you that, please know that it means something, as I read daily and have for years. I found this book to have any twists and turns, although it was dark at times; it was intriguing and I certainly was riveted from the beginning all the way through to the exquisite ending. The chemistry and love they share was written to perfection. I do not like to give away any part of a storyline, so I will try to write my review without 'letting the cat out of the bag'.
Within the unique pages of Hunter's Baby, you find a superbly crafted storyline, as well as engaging characters that will melt your heart. Hunter and Blossom’s journey actually began quite some time ago, however, it ended and Blossom has fortunately rediscovered the love of her life... Now, all she has to do is approach the man that has always held her heart. Easier said than done as Blossom has a secret of her own and it is sure to change everything. Hunter is a man on a mission but when this sexy man sees his love again, his world stops. This strong willed and dangerous man is about to be brought to his knees by the woman he's always loved. Can they get it right this time and get the happily-ever-after they more then deserve? How will Hunter react when he finds out what Blossom has been keeping from him? Hunter's Baby is so much more than just another romance. I was incredibly addicted and read this book in one sitting into the wee hours of the morning. This is one of those story's you don't want to end, but have to keep reading because you need to see what happens next. Sexy, delicious goodness inside. Hunter's Baby is heart breaking at times, but not to worry, Ms Abbott will mend it back together again, seamlessly.
I voluntarily requested an advanced reader's copy of Hunters Baby in exchange for my honest opinion and I couldn't devour it fast enough. I highly recommend Hunters Baby as well as anything written by Ms Abbott. Why not see for yourself just how incredible Alexis' creative mind truly is.

Listening to a podcast, hearing the murderer left a white lilac in the victims, blood, takes her back to her memories, of a man she’ll never see again, the father of her child. Blossom was eighteen when she met Hunter, when her parents found out she was pregnant they moved her, and Hunter never knew. She dreams of being a journalist and hearing a news story about the lilac, she heads to Ithaca to investigate the murder for her podcast, feeling that fate is guiding her, she never expected to see Hunter walking in front of her.
Blossom keeps thinking that if she takes her eyes of him that Hunter will disappear again. When Hunter asks about Flora, she lets him know she’s his never being able to deny him. Hunter learns that Blossom never wanted to leave him, her parents took her away, but stepping into her world would destroy both Blossom and Flora.
Blossom doesn’t want to ask the question, but the flowers brought them together, before she can he kisses her, her body warms from head to toe. They both need each other, interrupted by a noise, Hunter tackles the intruder, who escapes but not before Hunter sees a familiar tattoo.

“My white lilac prince”...3.5 stars!
Hunter’s Baby is a second-chance romance about two young people who fell in love when they were younger. Growing up in the foster system, Hunter’s childhood is cold and cruel, until he meets her. Blossom is innocence and everything good, an angel who soothes his damaged soul.
When Blossom’s parents discover she is pregnant, they whisk her away from the small town to Albany, NY. This leaves Hunter unanchored and directionless but makes his way into the world wondering about Blossom. Five years later, Hunter is a changed man, his soul is darker than before, but he only kills those that prey on those that can’t protect themselves. A vigilante killer, he’s inspired by the idea the world is safer for his angel, Blossom, wherever she might be.
A chance meeting brings Blossom and Hunter together in a small town where she is investigating a murder. Hunter is looking into the small face that looks so much like him, and knows instantly Flora is his daughter. But Blossom has uncanny skills of deduction and she can’t ignore the fact she and Hunter always met under a lilac tree. Can Hunter be the serial murderer who leaves behind his calling card with a lilac? When danger threatens Flora and Blossom, Hunter’s determined to protect what’s his. He’s not letting Blossom get away this time. But can she love a man with darkness and secrets? Great ending and a wonderful second chance at love.
Hunter’s Baby is suspenseful and action-packed. Ms. Abbott once again delivers the goods on an interesting, gritty plot with plenty of twists. I received and voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

This was an okay, very sexy, short story. I liked Blossom and Hunter together. But there were a few things that I found confusing. In chapter six, Hunter says he asked the girls to stay in his rented two bedroom cabin in the woods outside Ithaca, since they'd "been staying in hotels night to night." They had only just arrived in Ithaca that day from Albany, three hours away. In that same chapter, Hunter explains to Blossom that after her family secretly moved her away (from Maine to Albany) and he was unable to find her, he had to move to Maine to find work as there were no job opportunities in Albany. That makes no sense. He was already in Maine, not Albany. The next confusing thing is in chapter 14, after they get back home to their apartment in Albany. Blossom's homeless friend, Samantha, is waiting for them. She describes a man with a bird tattoo on his bicep that was there earlier that day asking questions about Flora, Blossom and Hunter's five year old daughter. This appears to be the same man that attacked at the cabin the night before (who Hunter is said to have cut on the bicep with the tattoo) and attempted to kidnap Flora from a store just outside Ithaca earlier that day. The logistics are confusing. So he was in Ithaca last night, Albany asking Sam questions that morning, and back to Ithaca trying to kidnap Flora a little later. And neither Sam nor Flora mention a cut or bandage on the tattoo. The last example is in chapter 16, when Sam identifies Blossom's coffeehouse customer as the guy asking questions the day before. This is never resolved.

The White Lilac Daydreams
For me Alexis Abbott can do no wrong! Every book is a wonderful read and this one is no exception. The storyline for this one draws you in from the outset, beautifully written with a twist you do not see coming. Blossom comes from a small town with strict parents, Sage her sister was the rebel of the family. As a teenager she met Hunter an older troubled guy, who had been bounced around foster homes, he was a hard worker with an old soul. He was her first kiss, her first everything, so in love and not cautious enough, hence her pregnancy with Flora now her 5 year old daughter, who Hunter knew nothing about.
This story is around second chance love, the joy of giving the helpless in life and the love of family is paramount! Will Hunter still be the man she loved and lost? Will Blossom accept, as her child’s protector, the crusade Hunter has chosen in life? Is Hunter too broken to have his perfect life and does he deserve it?
I highly recommend this as a one-click must read you will not regret it!

WOW, that author has done it again and brought us another wonderful story.
I just loved Hunter and Blossom’s story. I loved how they both no matter how much time they were apart they remained so much in love with each other. Their hearts were like waiting for that moment in time when they would be reunited.
Hunter was living in darkness and you have to ask yourself if Blossom will get past the life that Hunter was living. Hunter had already justified what he was doing and wanted Blossom to understand. I have to say I could see Hunter’s reasoning.
I tried to picture all the emotions Hunter was felling to find out he had little girl. To know the life that he was living and know that now he would want to be an example had to be hard.
Things get pretty rocky and dangerous for Hunter, Blossom, and their small happy family. I love how these two will come together to do what ever it takes to keep the ones that they love safe.
This was truly a great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.

In my opinion if you are a Alexis Abbott fan she did not disappoint. She gave you suspense, twists and some out sex. I had who the bad guy was but there was a twist I did not see coming, so well done Alexis Abbott. My attention was grabbed at the beginning and was kept till the end. I liked both Blossom and Hunter and when they were together I could fill the longing and the missed years. Blossom is optimistic, hardworking and maybe a little naive about the world. Hunter is likable even if he is a little dark and is doing dark work for a good reason, but that does not make it right. Blossom comes to a crossroad and has to decide what she is going to do. She realizes the world is not black and white. I felt like I was brought into the thought process, I could feel Blossom's struggle. I liked how Hunter gave Blossom some space to work things out, but he did not give up on her. I voluntary read and reviewed an advanced reader copy.

Holy Moly!! Alexis has a way of just sucking you right into a story. I couldn't put this book down. It's so intriguing.
Hunter and Blossom were a thing five years ago until Blossom's very strict parents found out that she was pregnant and promptly moved the family from Maine to NY leaving Hunter clueless. He didn't know where to find her and had no knowledge that she was pregnant.
Five years later and Blossom hears about a killing on the radio that is not too far from where she now resides and the killer left an interesting calling card. With Blossom wanting to get into crime reporting by using a podcast, she, her daughter and sister take off to the area so she can do some of her own investigating. She just so happens to see Hunter walking across the street when she drives into town. No way, no how is this happening.
This book will have you on the edge and flipping those virtual pages to see what happens next. There was a point in the story where I thought I knew who the villain was but I was oh so wrong, and that is A-OK, because it sure made for a great light bulb moment.
This book is a total must read.

This is a gripping, suspenseful and romantic thriller. Hunter is intense, caring, protective and determined. Blossom is independent, resilient and brave. They fell in love, then she was ripped away. So Hunter has spent the last five years ridding the world of scumbags. Blossom has spent the last five years raising the daughter Hunter doesn't know about. Then she sees him, and things between them pick up right where they left off. Except now they're being hunted, their daughter is in danger, and Hunter will do whatever it takes to protect them, even if that means that he can't be with them. This is a fascinating storyline that calls into question, what constitutes a monster? Is it the random kidnappers, killers and rapists, or is it the person who kills them? Hunter will make you wonder if every murderer is really a bad person.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.

I swear this lady can write a book this one was just non stop action, suspense, steamy as hell sex scenes that were like a match being lit to dynamite they realized it had been smoldering....waiting to be lit. This story is about getting a 2nd chance, but in true Alexis fashion a dark and twisted tale of a love between Hunter & Blossom when she was 18 her parent's were upstanding people in the community she was the good girl who was an Angel in Hunter's eyes and he was 23 the product of the foster system when his parent's abandoned him when he was younger. Her parents found out and they moved away she never saw or heard from him again, but all that's about to change. This was a damn good story one that I absolutely couldnt put down once I started reading it. I would definitely recommend getting this book it is sooo worth it.

Alexis has a way of pulling you into her books and this was no different. I was hooked from the beginning to the end. Summer and Hunter were together and fell in love. When she becomes pregnant her parents take her away without Hunter knowing about the baby. She has escaped her parents and she and her sister raise Flora together. Five years later Summer sees Hunter. Is it fate or a coincidence they see each other again? Their love for each other never went away and their connection to each other is stronger than before. When Hunter realizes that someone is trying to hurt his family, he promises to do whatever it takes to keep his family safe. This book kept me on the edge of my seat wondering who the real villain is. I will admit I did guess wrong and was surprised when it was revealed. I laughed , cried and had some OMG moments. This is a great romantic and suspenseful book.
