His younger twin brother, Seishi Kishimoto, is also a manga artist and creator of the manga series O-Parts Hunter (666 Satan) and Blazer Drive. Two of his former assistants, Osamu Kajisa (Tattoo Hearts) and Yuuichi Itakura (Hand's), have also gone on to moderate success following their work on Naruto.
Kishimoto's first work as a manga artist was Karakuri (カラクリ?), which he submitted to Shueisha in 1995. This earned him the Weekly Shōnen Jump's monthly "Hop Step Award" in 1996, granted to promising new manga artists. What a total Naruto move. Yes, instead of dropping this heavily abused, insanely dangerous hate-everybody kid in intense lockup, it’s better to just INVITE HIM TO LIVE WITH HIS FAMILY.
With any other character in the whole fictional world, I wouldn’t have believed it. But for Naruto, himself, with his talk-no-jutsu and insane power, this really IS the best method.
And I’m laughing my ass off about his socialization efforts. Ding ding! This is great.

In this volume, Kawaki is the main plot focus from his fight from the guy from Kara to his fights with Boruto.
Kawaki fights off a guy called Gorou, who wants to take him back to Jigen, who seems to be the leader of kara. It is during this fight that the abilites of Kawaki are on display. His two main assets are his Karma mark which absorbes attacks, and his mechanical modification. Which Katesuke described as being celluar modifications. To me this sounds like nanotechnology. With these mechaical modications he can harden and soften his body. It's like he has Kimimaro's bone weapons and Mitsuki's screchy limbs. Thought he only showed the hardening abilities during the fight. Which implies he has more abilites yet to be shown.
After the fight with Gorou was over, Naruto took Kawaki home to stay with him. Naruto said it was to gain his trust. As he thought confiding him in a cell would only make him more warry. While it might sound like a good plan on paper it does seem to place Hinata and Himawari in alot of danger, the whole village as well. From both Kawaki and the members of Kara who want to retrive him.
After the serious fight is over Kawaki has many small conflicts with Boruto. They are trying to parrel the relationship Naruto had with sasuke using Kawaki. It think the sasuke dynamic is plenty filled by both Sarada and Mitsuki. Sarada has the Name calling and Rival part. Where Mitsuki has more the be the sun to my moon dynamtic. Which are the more pleasent and nostalgics parts of Naruto and Sasuke's relationship. The only part for Kawaki to fill would be the homicidle compounent of sasuke during the shipppuden era. Which would not work with Kawaki since Boruto is not that attacked to him. To me Kawaki remineds me more of Gaara. The relationship that could develp between Boruto and Kawaki should be more like the Naruto Gaara friendship. They meet when they where 12 and karma are reminicent of the power and trama of being a jinchuriki.
It was nice to see Hinata and Himawari in the manga althought thier appearnce was limited. This might be the one area I prefer the anime over the manga, the amont of time we get to see Hinata and Himawari.
Overall decent volume, I liked that action in the begining. The only thing I did not really like was that this story is trying to force the Sasuke and Naruto parrel between Boruto and Kawaki. When Kawaki really remineds me more of Gaara.

Volume 7: Chapter 24-27
Arc 4: Kawaki
- The boy named Kawaki.
- Delta come to Kashin Koji's place along with Garou. Garou fights with Kawaki. Kawaki shows his real power and managed to kill Garou. Kawaki's Karma is in resonance with Boruto's Karma.
- Kawaki then collapsed. Team 7 bring him to Konoha and put him under surveillance. The Five Kage know about the news. They put Kawaki under direct surveillance of Naruto.
- Boruto and Kawaki trying to get along. Kawaki tells that Jigen bought him from his abusive father. Then, he was put under experiment led by Amado along with other children to be a vessel. He is the sole survivor and turned out he is successfully to become a vessel to Jigen. That's how Kawaki got his Karma.

J'ai aussi bien aimé ce tome moins que l'autre serte mais il était pas mal on a apris plein de truc de kara kawaki etc.. Aussi on commence à voir la rivalité de boruto. Il y a aussi le background de kawaki qui est assez triste même ci elle est mieux fait dans l'animé et on voit le monstre qui est jigen. Et petit moment drôle quand kawaki et boruto voulait pisser et Naruto était déjà au toilette.

oh my goddd i love this volume so much!!!!! kawaki looks so badass 🔥 also i reaaaaally appreciate boruto as himawari's niichan :( uueueue d way he always worries ab her (remember last time when he got mad at naruto bc its himawari's bday) then now, hes mad bc hima's vase was broken :( aaaa im so soft

It's the beginning of the end. Start the clock. However you want to say it, we are now on the road to the first scene of the series with the introduction of Kawaki.

Completamente enamorada de la relación que se está formando entre Kawaki, Naruto y familia. Amo estos momentos tiernos y a la vez graciosos. Me pregunto si Kawaki conseguirá arreglar el florero, de la manera en que blBoruto pretende, será que entiende a q ser refiere?

Sere muy sincera. I think this's one of the worst Anime ever created! Sorry, Kishi, but I hate Boruto. Hasta el momento no me gustado nada, espero que algún día me sorprenda y cuando eso pase me cambiaré el nombre.
