Unique and Memorable

This must be one of the most romantic novels I have ever read. The interesting background of Japanese and Swedish heritage of the main characters provides a rich and textured tapestry on which the story of star crossed lovers has been beautifully embroidered. The symbolism of the ravens provide a golden thread of ancient Japanese myth, leading the reader through all the events of the story, which take place in the United States of America.
