Small Panda has lost his bottom. It was there when he went to sleep but now it has disappeared. He searches high and low, and finds stripy bums, pink butts, feathery derrieres. 'Are you my bottom?' he asks, but none of these bottoms are his. Finally, he spots a furry bum which just has to be his - but the answer is surprising! A cheeky story for anyone who has ever left something behind.
Hello to you! We are Kate and Jol Temple and we write silly books for kids! Some of them love to rhyme and others do not at all but all of them have pictures, because pictures are cool and anyone who says they're not is a two headed yeti. We live in Sydney with our human sons and a dog that thinks it's a raccoon.
We love to visit schools. We talk about and read picture books to little kids preschool through to junior primary. We also love to talk to bigger kids about our chapter books and what it's like being a writer. For more info about our school visits contact us and we'll be in touch.
I have mixed feelings. Some illustrations were adorable, while some did not make sense to me. This book is silly and full of laughs, but I always try and find a message. I do not think I found the appropriate message. I feel as though it could send the wrong message, such as telling people it okay to look at other people's bums & invade their space.
Such a cute and funny book about little panda looking for his bum. My daughter just loves it. Great rhythm and rhyme and by the end of it you learn all synonyms for the bum :-))).
Easy, fun read, especially on days when you and your child could do with a bit of a laugh.
