Some compelling story-telling, but...
The lack of grammarical editing is REALLY distracting. Lots of sentence fragments, poor punctuation, and the word "too" was almost always spelled incorrectly (written as "to" instead). The editing issues really slow down the reading pace, and it temporarily derails the storyline. I wonder how much more of an impact the story would've had if the reader was able to become fully immersed and able to engage with it uninterrupted.

The Status of the Family From the First Book
This book is another in a series of true accounts shared with author Melissa George. Raven's story was first told in a prior book and it was truly heartbreaking. This book is a follow-up to the last book, updating us on what has happened with her family. Raven's sister Rain has made incredible progress with the love of family. Her story has not been told and may never be, because it was a truly traumatic experience. I am grateful that Raven has shared her story in these two books to show that native people have been aware of Sasquatch for centuries and that they are creatures to be respected and feared. Encounters are not always pleasant ones. A question and answer section follows at the end of the book. I wish her family peace and happiness. They will not move despite the serious issues they have had and I hope they will be safe. If you have not read the first book, "The Native Truth", I highly recommend it. It is a bit wrenching story.

Traumatized and scared but still brave
I was so thrilled when I saw book 3 had come out. Raven and Rain's experience is almost too hard to believe and yet it rings with authenticity. If you haven't read all three books, don't want any longer, they are horrifying and yet so brave. I'm so glad to see Rain getting better, she seems like such a sweetheart. Thank you Raven for your courage to tell the truth about Bigfoot. Thank you also to Melissa George for choosing to give a voice to this lovely family.

An prose injustice
I enjoyed reading both of these stories. But, as I wrote in my first review, it was distracting to come upon so many simple errors in punctuation and proper word choices. To when it should have been too (I kept a list while reading the first book) quite for quiet, etc, etc. Very few possessive pronouns received an apostrophe s. It was aggravating and makes me question whether I want to read any more of Ms. George's work. You have to edit writing not just rely on spell check. A disservice was done to Raven's story.

Another satisfying segment to the Raven trilogy. I still can't believe the girls moved back to their childhood home and continue to fish in the river at the location they were attacked. I mean, this boggles my mind. I am hoping that this is a rogue Sasquatch but the problem is, you don't know what kind of Sasquatch you are going to encounter in the woods...what if it's rogue and violent? You are really not safe in the woods and this city girl feels safer in a big city, even the ghetto, than I would be in the forest.

Fascinating story!
I am thrilled to complete part 2 in this Bigfoot encounter between a loving native American family and an aggressive Bigfoot clan. It shows that this creature must not be treated like a pet and should be treated like any wild animal in its natural habitat - that is, left alone and not fed or otherwise engaged. This book ties up a lot of the loose ends from the first book. Its an enjoyable read for Bigfoot enthusiasts.

Sequel to Sasquatch, The Native Truth. Here is the continuation of the simple, no frill but scary narrative of a Native American woman and her family who were terrorized by the Kekleh-Kudleh or Sasquatch. Frightening and nerve wracking experience. I now will never think of Bigfoot as always benevolent and peaceful creatures.

Amazing
What courageous people. I hope they get to live on peace and that Rain will heal. These are good decent people that have to live with these monsters.

Another amazing book by Melissa George. Her writing is so good, I'm reading her books one after another.
