The more things change the more they repeat themselves. Humans seem slow to learn. Here is a novel of terrorism, suspense and accommodation at high levels of a self-serving government. And then an ordinary though well-connected citizen sets out to right a grevious wrong. Like the fourth angel, when he finally blew his horn, the earth trembled and the sun dimmed.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I really like the determination of Simon to find the killer of his family and the degree he went to chase them down! It was fast paced, well written and well put together and scary at the same time!

Throughly enjoyed this book great dramatic start onto a story of revenge plotting and planning to a cat and mouse finish and new friendships

Loved it until it started throwing in the Leftist social commentary. The main character's basic background also seemed to go into territory that wasn't even hinted at previously, which really messed with character development and empathy. And towards the end, it started to read more like a bizarre fantasy than anything else. Totally unrealistic dynamics... So these things brought it down from 5 to 3 stars, but it was still really enjoyable most of the way through.
