When Tate Williams walks into the café I work at, I’m instantly smitten by his charm and good looks. Dark hair, full beard, and smoldering green eyes are impossible to ignore in this small town. To make things awkward, I drop an entire tray of dishes in front of him and instead of watching me stumble to pick up the pieces, he comes to my side and immediately helps.

That’s

I love the whole mountain man romance genre as the men are hot and broody. Tate comes to live in the mountain looking for some alone time. He never thought he would find Brianna. 3.5-4-ish STARS...

Tate Williams—the burly mountain man is the real-deal outdoorsy type, and building log cabins isn't the only thing he does well with his hands. Tate is a real gentleman without being completely-up-your-ass-obnoxious, which I can appreciate in male character.

Underneath that beard and all that flannel is a business man born with a silver-spoon in his mouth, and a gazillion dollars in his bank account.

You wouldn't know it by the way Tate chooses to live.
A secluded mountain cabin

Tate and Brianna find that sometimes the best laid plans are destined to end in HEA. Brianna is what everyone would consider your quintessential small town girl. She works in the town cafe to help provide for her sick dad and tries to be a good and kind person. Her life is fairly predictable filled with looking in on her dad, busting her hump at work, and occasionally kicking back with her bestie. When a tall, dark, and magnanimous Tate walks in to the cafe, she doesn’t know just how much he is ...more

I loved this story. This is the first book I’ve read from Kelsey King, but I don’t think it will be the last. The story is well written and flows smoothly. The characters are very likeable and realistic. Brianne and Tate experience and instant connection and attraction, neither can stop thinking about the other and a small spark ignites the hope of forming a relationship. Tate moved to the mountains after an unfortunate break-up and Brianna helps care for her ill father. Tate must return to his ...more

This is a well written short fast paced read. I really enjoyed the story of Tate and Brianna. Considering the shortness of the story and the face pace I was pleasantly surprised by how well the characters were developed. I often find that in shorter stories that you either get a well done plot with little character development or lots of character development with little story. Kelsey King finds a great balance giving you both in this sweet love at first site book. I immensely enjoyed this one a ...more

When Tate is force to go back to his old life, even is for short period of time,he thinks that bringing Fiancé with him will definitely shut his family meddling.
He did run away when walking on his best friend and fiancé ot two years.
He decided to ask Brianna for help. She is a beautiful girl working as waitress in local caffe.
What they didn’t expect was to stay engaged afterwards.
Typical story? Maybe. What I like it was they didn’t ended in bed on the first day. Actually took a bit l

Brianna works hard in a café, sometimes even double shifts. Her father’s bills are high because of his illness and they need the money.
Tate lives in the middle of nowhere and he is happy there, trying to live a frugal life. But everything changes when he meets Brianna.
Two people in need, looking for something that is missed in their lives.
Although the book is short and the characters and story are not well-developed, I had a good time reading it.

Tate left his elite life behind in Chicago for a quiet, working life in Montana. He's happy with his dog and cabin. Until a chance meal delivers Brianna on the menu. She's beautiful, kind and stuck in his mind. He's drawn to her. When he needs to return home, he wants Brianna at his side. He offers her a chance to get ahead and to help him out as well. But when deep feelings take over a fake engagement, how long can either deny the secret?

An amazing book. Extremely entertaining, captivating, and interesting read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong characters. I
This is a mountain man romance but it doesn't really take place on his mountain for the most part. He sees her at a bar, and pays her to go back to his home town and be his fiancé. But as we all know those things mostly never stay fake and they fall in love.
A fun, passionate and steamy short read.

If you're a fan of the insta love stories with the uber alpha male and the feisty heroine. Then this story is for you. It's a quick read that you will enjoy once you start. The end of the story is a little different than most of the insta love but that is okay because it totally works with the characters. You will enjoy this great story.

I really liked this romantic read. Tate moved to the mountains to escape life after his best friend slept with his girl. Brianna is a waitress at a little cafe. When these two lay on eyes on each other, the chemistry is instant. When Tate needs to attend a family function, he talks Brianna into going as his fake finacee. How long before this relationship wii be real?
