Speak Latin

Speak Latin contains several hundred sayings, expressions, phrases, idioms, and figures of speech. Thus, this book can be used by educators and students as a first step toward using Latin in the classroom. Speak Latin has been strategically arranged into simple Before the Conversation, Starting the Conversation, Continuing the Conversation, and Ending the Conversation. Each entry begins with Latin and is followed by English glosses. There are also four helpful sections in the appendix for both teachers and students (e.g. Using Latin Names, Vocatives, Tips for Asking Questions, and Interrogatives). This user-friendly resource , the first in the LAETA series, is intended to assist teachers and help learners gain a foothold in spoken Latin while having fun doing so.
