Univ. of Arizona, Tucson. Introductory neuroanatomy text for medical students. Describes the structure and function of the brain and nervous system. Full-color illustrations and images portray structure-function processes and brain activity. Includes a new chapter on electrical signaling. Previous c1993. Nervous System--anatomy & histology.
The Kindle version of this text is not an easy read; there are a fair amount of formatting issues. As a reference text, its been pretty useful for medical neuroscience and head & neck anatomy.
Somewhat dated anatomical/physiological neuroscience fusion text. Beautiful, precise illustrations not mottled by modern 3D rendering as is common practice of current scientific illustrators. This edition (of course) lacks 20 years worth of neuroscience research. Thus, it's not worth much aside from its use as a structural atlas of the brain.
