“I just wanted to tell you how I felt. Then I wanted to take you inside and show you.” A slow grin emerged on her lips. “I’ve always loved show-and-tell,” she whispered.

My Review:

This is such an adorably sweet and easy to follow small-town series with relevant family issues, secrets, and heart-squeezing moments. I enjoyed the colorful descriptions and stories of the quirky and eccentric characters inhabiting Sweetwater, each with their own unique spin that makes them stand out sev

We return to Sweetwater Springs for the second book in the series; Springtime at Hope Cottage. Town physical therapist; Tucker Locklear and city girl; Josie Kellum find their happily ever after together in this installment, and they are quite the opposites at first introduction.

He was ready to put himself out there in the dating world again but he didn’t want to set himself up for another heartbreak…

This was such a sweet and cute small town southern romance.

Not only did I love the romance of the story, I also loved the additional story that was being told regarding Tucker's past (and present).

The couple featured in this story had awesome chemistry which was steamy but also sweet. Their romance didn't feel dragged out and it also didn't feel like an 'instalove'. Everything came together at the perfect timing.

For some reason, I was so focused (and enchanted) by the romance that I was caught

4.5 Sweet Stars!

Springtime at Hope Cottage is a sweet romance that fills your heart with hope and leaves you smiling right until the very end.

Springtime at Hope Cottage follows the story of Josie and Tucker. Josie is all about business and doesn’t know how to disconnect from the world. She’s always on the go. So, when a trip to Sweetwater Springs ends up with her injuring her knee, Josie will finally be forced to take a moment and catch her breath. Being injured isn’t so bad if she gets to spend

Well, my first trip to Sweetwater Springs was a huge success, what an adorable book! This is book two and read great for me on it’s own, but you can count on me following this series from here on out because it was beyond sweet. This had it all, an idyllic small town, quirky residents, a sexy hero AND heroine and a few adorable kids were magic ingredients for me here, I adored this book!

Nothing tugs at my heartstrings more than a hunky widower and Tuck was seriously swoon worthy. He’s a small to

After reading Christmas On Mistletoe Lane, I couldn’t wait to read this story. Josie and Tucker are complete opposites who slightly bumped heads at first. As time passes they get to know each other and I liked seeing the layers peeled back. Tucker was an all around good guy who mainly liked to keep to himself but was there if you needed him. Josie was a workaholic and it was nice to see them balance each other out.

During the book we had some secrets revealed that I wasn’t expecting but I liked
There is something that is alluring about the small-town life, especially if you are looking to take a break from it all. Josie Kellum had never been to Sweetwater Springs but after her best friend, Kaitlyn, decided to set some roots in that town, Josie made it a priority to go and visit her friend. She really wanted to see what was so wondrous that Kaitlyn would leave her entire life behind and Josie figured she could even write an article or two while she was there. What she never expected was ...more

Oh my!

This second book in the Sweetwater Springs contemporary romance series is an absolute joy to read from beginning to HEA. I cried and laughed and just could not put it down. SPRINGTIME AT HOPE COTTAGE (Sweetwater Springs #2) by Annie Rains was a pleasure to read.

There is nothing less romantic than when a widower talks about his dead wife to the heroine and then makes out with her. Eeeew...

Josie Kellum has a great job as an editor of a major New York magazine. She is pulled away from her job due to an injury sustained while she is visiting her friend in Sweetwater Springs. For me as a reader there is nothing better then being able to get into a series. I just love the layers that a series brings you. Each book you get to learn more about the prior characters along with the supporting characters. Not to mention the hero and heroine of the book.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for a good series.

As you can see I just finished the second book in the Sweetwater Springs series by Annie Rains

Springtime At Hope Cottage was a sweet and adorable addition to the Sweetwater Springs series.

If you have read the first book, you will remember our leading lady Josie is Kaitlyn's friend who wrote the story about the B & B and Sweetwater Springs.

The last thing Josie wants it to leave NYC or to find love. However, now she is back in town, and Sweetwater Springs is doing it's thing.

I adore Josie, and what woman cannot love Tuck? The sparks flew between them, and

I’m a fan of Annie Rains books, and this one does not disappoint. The storyline is nothing new or original, but Annie Rains develops likeable and realistic characters.

I’ll be perfectly honest – I just don’t understand why Annie Rains isn’t on everyone’s book shelf. Her characters are always complex and layered, her stories have a core of sweetness and kindness that we all could use, and their connections are palpable – you want to visit the places she’s created, make friends with the people and sit in the café to people watch. Springtime at Hope Cottage is no exception. From first coming to Sweetwater Springs where we met Kaitlyn intent on making the little B ...more

With a title composed of both Spring and Hope, you should very much expect that this romance, Springtime at Hope Cottage by Annie Rains, will be an uplifting story about people getting second chances and finding spiritual renewal–and it is.

Springtime at Hope Cottage begins with an airport meet-cute in which Josie pulls out a can of pepper spray on her “attacker,” Tuck who was sent by her best friend to pick her up. Immediately Tuck decides that this big city girl is a snob and spoiled

Josie is a writer at a magazine in New York City and has made work the main focus of her life. When she goes to visit her best friend in the small town of Sweetwater Springs, North Carolina it turns into much more than she expected.

Josie is hiking alone on her first day there when she wanders slightly off the trail and ends up falling and injuring her knee. Guess that means she will have to spend more time with the physical therapist Tuck - though they didn’t exactly hit it off from the start.

I love a good small town romance and this book certainly satisfied my craving. It has an amazing group of characters with a nice slow burn romance between Tucker and Josie. Tucker is the town's physical therapist who has spent the last few years mourning the loss of his wife. No woman has peaked his interest until NY magazine editor/writer Josie Kellum comes to town. Why her?? They are so different and she will only be around a short time. She has heartbreaker written all over her. He just needs ...more

My second trip to Sweetwater Springs was just as wonderful as the first! Annie has really proven herself as an amazing romance writer capable of crafting characters you love and can't wait to learn more about.
My favorite thing about this second book is how it further built on the relationships that were created and expanded the characters that you just started learning about in the first book.

I figured this was going to be a cute and entertaining romance novel, but this one was just so boring. The major conflicts are not really conflicts and I did not care about any of the characters. The cover is the best part of this book, I mean it is so pretty and I want to move to that place. I will say I had an okay time reading this, I just don't think this author or the tropes in this story are for me.

I loved this book just as much as the first in the series. Josie and Tuck are a true opposites attract when I comes to their lifestyles at the beginning of the book but as they grow closer and let their guards down you see how perfect they are together. Can’t wait until the next book comes out later this year!

Thanks to Forever Romance for sharing a free copy of this book with me in exchange for an honest review.

Very sweet. Moved a little slowly at times, but I've been impatient this week, so it may have just been me. I very much enjoyed returning to Sweetwater Springs, and Josie and Tuck's story. Maddie is a character!

I also liked the preview of the third book (Alex and Halona - yay!) and the short story by Hope Ramsay, which reminds me that I need to get back to Last Chance, SC!

Cute story! Loved the different elements. At times, I felt that the pacing was off, but it also could have been when I was reading the story (bedtime, etc).

I overall enjoyed the story. Full review soon.

Springtime at Hope Cottage is the sequel to the Sweetwater Springs series. This series is the kind that can be read out of order but still best read in order since each book follows a different character that we meet from the previous book. I was very excited to pick up this book after reading the first in the series, Christmas on Mistletoe Lane, which I enjoyed. It’s cute and fluffy and what I wanted at the time.
