If this is how my new year reading is going to go then I demand a do-over.

This woman had been cloistered her entire life and has never seen a man before, the first man she sees, she tumbles head over heels for them. She sees Alaric and wants him, then she sees Kade and wants him, then she sees Finn and wants him. This is the same woman that was thought to be monogamous. Not only that she has no qualms about being naked in front of them and having steamy times days after meeting them. She fires h

Liana was sent to a secret Island as a newborn baby by her parents,The Queen & King Consort of the Midnight Court. She’s always been told it was for her own safety and she’s had a safe, lovely but boring life with only her Nanny, Thana, and the seven sisters, that forever live on the island. She loves them dearly but her Parents decision has made her bitter & resentful towards them!! Then news arrives that her Mother, whom she’s never met, has died!! Most likely by deliberate poisoning 😱🤭

When I first saw this book I was intrigued by the titel. Claimed by night (A reverse harem story). This book was fast paced with a interesting plot. I really liked the main character Liana and her guardians. This book is about magic and fae and it gives a really interesting view of the world. I really enjoyed the book and read it in one sitting. Definitely recommend this book if you like magic, a strong main character, intriguing men and fae!

Great Start to the Series

I really enjoyed this first part of the story. There is lots of action, intrugue, adventure and romance. I like all the men that are so drawn to this woman who has to take on enemies to protect others. There are many twists and surprises and I look forward to seeing the story develop.

This book appeals to me on so many levels – I’ve literally read it through my own personal storms as well as dark and rainy Sunday afternoons.

The romantic parts of the story are so sweet (even when they’re hot and make you go all tingly) and so beautifully written; there’s nothing explicit about it but the connections between the lead characters are so instantaneous and real that you can actually feel them as they happen. Some might think that the attraction between them happens too quickly but

Claimed by Night is an interesting concept, but not necessarily an original one. In essence, it's the story of a fae royal who comes to claim the throne after being raised on an isolated island until her mother's assassination.

That being said, it did keep my attention, and I felt myself starting to get pulled into the characters and the story. Unfortunately, it's quite short, and I'm a fast reader, so I felt a little bit like I just wasn't getting enough time with Liana and the her guards. The s

Liana is not afraid to go against tradition and refuses to back down from those he challenge her. She has spent her entire life exiled on an island for her “protection”. Now that her mother is dead, Liana is set to inherit the fae throne for the Night Court. To make it as a successful queen she must trust herself, not show the court any weakness, and for the love of all fae hope she is Graced during her blessing ceremony.

I give props for the idea of Liana never being around men in her life, to

Claimed by Night takes you on an adventure one of action, mystery, lust and inner strength. I love how Elena describes this world so wonderfully I can picture myself traveling along with Liana and her loyal guard! I am intrigued by the mystery that Liana is presented with and this only pushes the reader to not put this book down. I like the way she meets her men, each presenting itself in a heroic or fun-loving way. There is a bit of an instant connection, but more on the lust level than hop int ...more

Claimed by Night is a quick and immersive read. I enjoyed the dip into the Night Court and would of easily given the book four stars, if only it wasn’t in such dire need of editing.

Lawson definitely has talent; she’s created a story that ticks all the right boxes. It’s engaging, has mystery, romance (heat), magic, drama, and action, and the characters are diverse and interesting, unfortunately though everything felt a bit rushed. The characters aren’t fleshed out, we barely get to know them let

I quite enjoyed this story, it was a fast read with some intrigue and magic involved.

I enjoyed the individuals and their different personalities, however I did find a few things odd about the story.

The new queen banishes her royal guards, then decides she likes her new guards, instantly. Their responses are hardly negative, and to me this just seemed a bit rushed. Surely they would have been more hesitant considering their differing status and the situation?

That being said, I did enjoy the mix o

Claimed by Night is all about fitting RH cliches into a very short length book that more than anything else just succeeded in putting me to sleep.

The story itself is generic enough, über special snowflake heroine that always ends up being damsel in distress during key events that would have helped in projecting her image as a powerful queen but no of course she just flails around till her harem guys appear only for them to fail most of the time. The plot is just too predictable. There is no mys

***I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the author.***

I really enjoyed this book. I like all things fae and it was nice to read a book that put a twist on what we normally read. There were no humans in this book as it was all fae who were mortal and then became immortal at a certain age. I liked that some would have a Grace and some don't when usually all fae have powers. This was a really quick read and I enjoyed Liana. She was stubborn, smart, and a fighter. She did what

I need a Royal Guard!!

This was such a fun story to read. The characters are all well described and detailed. Each of their personalities were unique and different from one another. The story and plot line was intriguing and full of suspense, drama, and betrayal. The world the author has created is fun to read and kept me entertained all night... who needs sleep when you have your nose stuck in a good book?

I really loved the idea of Liana muddling her way through a new life as the crowned queen

I'm a fan of reverse harem most especially if it includes the Sidhe.

Claimed by Night tells the story of Liana who would be the queen of her court once she receives her Grace and royal guards. At first I thought Liana made flimsy decisions at the beginning and later I realized that she made the right decisions for herself including non traditional ones. I like how strong she is and how firm she is in her beliefs and to the people she trusts.

I can say that her men are drool-worthy and they suit o

These books are really well written and super fun to read. Fae isn't my go-to supernatural creature, but these books make me want fae powers so bad. The twist and turns in this book will drive you crazy and as soon as you think you have it your wrong. Liana is kick ass she may not seem like it at first, but she grows on you real quick. even the minor characters grow on you. Don't forget this is RH so she has 4 guys, hint there may be more to come you never know. There is her captain Alaric and t ...more

Ms. Lawson really wrote a winner here! I loved Liana as a Female lead, she is very relatable even for it being paranormal! She is resentful and bitter toward the parents who left her on an island with just get nanny, Thana and the seven sisters.
Liana gets word her mother has died and comes to rule, changing all the rules and doing it as she wants. The steam between her and her lovers is so thick you could cut it with a knife! I absolutely loved each scene as it came!
The RH flowed easily and sea

4 stars for Claimed by Night by Elena Lawson. This is book one in The Queen’s Consort Series. This is a paranormal Reverse Harem. The current Queen of the Fae has died, now her daughter Liana has to leave the island she was sent to. She must go receive her Grace, all while having no idea who killed her mother. Liana is a strong character from the very beginning. She is even strong when facing all the attempts on her life. I have to say the best part for me was even though she is fighting to stay ...more

I definitely enjoyed Claimed by Night. It claimed 100% of my attention until about 2am this morning. I didn't put it down.

There's magic, sexual tension, action, bad guys, and a few steamy scenes thrown in the mix.

I like a strong minded heroine in my books and when Liana arrived at the palace the first thing she did was drop it on it's head. You go girl.

I was a little concerned about how the twins would work with the harem dynamic, but when the time came it flowed nicely and wasn't awkward or off

There was nothing slow about this book at all. A world of Fae and magic, tied around a strong and claiming female lead character.
I loved the idea of a reverse harem in this story, and how the Fae world is ever only ruled by a Queen at all times. The power and love pulls you into this story. And the plot keeps you wanting more. I would completely recommend this book to any up for Fae, magic, a strong headed young Queen and her male warriors that will never leave her said. I can not wait for the s

This book was my very first and definitely not the last, this book had mystery, fantasy, holy hot guys and one kick but heroine , who is trying to figure out what her powers are with a little help from her soon to be harem... This is one awesome gem of a book and you cannot put it down with its white knuckle page turning what the heck is going to happen next , hopefully she will be able to finally be with her men, enough of the reading already, waiting patiently for book 2 , I know

She makes some changes immediately and rubs some people the wrong way. Soon enough shady things start happening to her and she has to figure it out with her hand picked group of guards.
