Changed: Mated to the Alien Alpha
They were wrong.
The giant humanoid inhabitants of Omega IV are conditioned to the Change—a biological event in their development that designates them altha or amekha—but for the new colony of humans, the Change comes as an unpleasant surprise.
Dr Cameron Grant, bitter after a turbulent break-up, finds...more
That was pretty darn hot.
All I have to say is if you want some delicious claiming alien sex with ABO dynamics plus KNOTTING (and subsequently mpreg) then this book is for you! Totally absurd with fabulous UST to go along with plenty of exhibitionism and voyeurism to satisfy all, this was quite the sexy sci-fi indulgence.
As a warning for those who get twitchy about wanting a perfectly edited ebook, this was not it, and I’m hoping subsequent sequels get a few extra read throug ...more
ok, firstly, I can’t believe this book was free! 😱 It unfortunately is not anymore but this is available on KU so I guess it’s a good thing. 😌 Second of all, I’m a hoarder. 😂 Well, if you didn’t have an idea, you definitely do now. 🤣 I buy books everyday, that’s right, you heard me correct. I buy books everyday and I’d download and hoard every free book available too. 😁 So when I got this book for free, I put this on my back burner list on my kindle and I th ...more
First of all, don’t let this title dissuade you from reading this book – this was one of the best A/B/O stories I’ve ever read.
In this futuristic, space exploration sci-fi story, we follow a group of all male scientists and miners as they set up a small colony on a presumably inhabited planet called Omega IV.
When Dr Cameron Grant, to his own shock and surprise, makes first contact with a giant, purple and gorgeous alien named Tal’jen, all preconceptions of Omega IV and its status get ...more
Honestly, truly this book was so enjoyable and sexy. I’m a be honest... I didn’t go into it for plot and stellar writing, I went in solely for the purple 🍆 and I was not disappointed. I’m surprised by how funny it all was and how our leads didn’t mind giving their friends a picnic and a show.
My fave hands down is Mike, and if he doesn’t get his story I’m a freaking riot. I want my soft cinna ...more
Purple is the colour
Alien is the game
They are now all together
And getting him pregnant is his aim.
So cheer on Tal’Jen
Through the language barrier
‘Cause getting Cameron Grant is now his aim.
“The Company said Omega IV was uninhabited. They said Omega IV was safe.” was the Company wrong.....
My question is, how can a 7’, sex-on-legs, purple alien be wrong? I’m booking my flight now, Shin is way ahead of me and already on route 😉.
I soooooo enjoyed this 😁, even though ...more
This was a cute and hot alien romance. Cameron was hilarious. I think I highlighted his funny lines more than anything romantic, though there were those times. Tal'jen was the perfect alien boyfriend. He wanted a mate so bad and had been waiting. When he realized Cameron would prese ...more
I know. I know. I can hear the collective gasp you all just made over me voluntarily reading MPREG.
Lookit, I'm in a reading desert and I thought maybe alien porn was a way to potentially escape it. Not sure I necessarily escaped but I was pleasantly surprised by how entertaining I found this.
Cameron and Tal'jen are kind of irresistible in their smittenness.
"You are beautiful to me, and I want nothing more than to mate with you, and keep you always safe and happy and well. I will wa...more
This is like the dirty twin of Avatar, but also incredibly sweet.
How can anyone not love Tal'Jen, he is one adorable Alien who is complete smitten with Cameron, the human scientist that has landed on his planet. He's tender, loving, sensual, possessive and devoted. gush-worthy.
I adored Cameron as well. So willing to accept all the new experiences. Jumping head first, even when his actually biology starts changing. Adorably fierce in the face of ch ...more
I absolutely adored this book; sexy, funny, science-y science fiction is always a win for me.
There were bits that reminded me of Breeding Stations and a few more that were reminiscent of Kríe Captivity - hell, even the Avatar movie & Star Wars/Star Trek - most tropes that are found in a lot of human/alien &/or other-planet science fiction romance. But as a whole it just gelled perfectly for me in this story. I think it was how much I loved Cameron...he was just so relatable (to me).
This was fun!!
Completely devoid of scientific accuracy.
Editing errors all over the place,
But who really cares?
Just let those niggling thoughts about science and grammatical realism fade away while you sink into lush alien sex.
Enjoy this insta-xeno-love fest. Growing wombs, swinging sex, knotting, and MPREG included for your reading pleasure......you're going to want a seven foot tall alien with retractable claws f ...more
This is the first story in (what I hope is) a sexy new series. This takes place in the future, and at first part of me did think of Avatar - sexy, tall, purple alien species. A beautiful, multi-colored world. A species who live in a ...more
2 stars for the science-fiction elements
I enjoyed this futuristic off-world science-fiction romance story in spite of it having so many faults. My main complaint would be characters not behaving according to their assigned professions and expertise. The maturity of most characters came across as 19-20 year olds on their first camping trip, when they were all supposed to be academic scientists; xenolinguists, biologists, medical doctors etc. with plenty of ...more
so i thought about this some more and it doesn't deserve four stars, but 3.5 stars. i think i was just generous because the aliens are indigo and it got me all excited. BUT IT DOESN'T MAKE UP FOR MISSING PLOT HOLES!
well well well.
i just found a new favorite with indigo fuzzy aliens. this book was kind of past pace, but it worked. i feel as if they could have put more information into the story.
- how the hell did humans get to be all the way across the damn galaxy.
- what is earth like?
- how ...more
It was a bit eco-friendly. Maybe it will remind you of Avatar.
Unfortunately not many futuristic elements were included and my inner nerd was not very happy.
On the other hand my inner smut freak was happy enough. Human Dr Cameron Grant and 7 feet purple alien Tal'jen are cute together. Most of the scenes with these two are adora ...more
Warning for Mpreg in this. It's at the very end and it skips over all of the pregnancy until Cameron has the baby - which it also skips over - but it's still there, and a large part of this story has talk about Cameron getting pregnant with Tal'Jen's young and all that. Although this is an alien planet with, well, aliens, so it's not Mpreg like in a traditional ABO story or anything like that. Nonetheless, if Mpreg is not your thing ...more
This took me a few chapters to get into but I'm glad I didn't give up on it because in the end it was thoroughly entertaining. I mean, who doesn't love a bit of seven-foot tall, purple alien, m-preg kink with heart?
For fans of books like Kríe Captivity or Claimings, Tails, and Other Alien Artifacts there's a lot here to enjoy, and lots of world building that can be easily expanded on. But this book definitely has its own vibe.
A bit of sweet and kinky fun, with an ...more
Really enjoyed this one. Sexy and somewhat romantic.
A great recommendation.😺
I loved this book!
The story is well developed and well paced and I loved the characters and the world building!
It's a beautiful sci-fi omegaverse!
Absolutely recommended, if you're a fan of the genre you can't miss this one 😊 ...more
Like sci-fi / ABO heavily influenced by the movie Avatar?
Or a futuristic mpreg romance with touches of ABO?
Whatever, this was fun. And sometimes maybe a bit … weird. But good weird.
What I thoroughly enjoyed:
.) great world building
.) a couple of fab ideas: like a machine that can teach you a language overnight. I’m all for that!
.) I loved the whole aspect of communicating with someone without speaking their language.
.) Tal’jen and Cameron are superhot together.
.) the fact a gu ...more
This was a fun ride! The world building was vivid and vibrant and delicious-sounding! I appreciate the effort to make something that’s not the norm. An alien with 2 thumbs on each hand? Never heard of it!
Very fun story that had me chuckling from the first page (quite literally, except it was page 2😂).
So why 4.5 stars rounded down? Because there’s a crisis that Was the pinnacle of the story but just as it was winding down, we cut to the end instead.... A bit of a cheat, I feel.
Oh, this has been the fun of in Alien Gay Romance, I have been waiting for. Really good world building. A good time with the troupes of Alien romance. A good set up of the next set of leads.
I love how the various genders and ability to conceive was handled.
The romance is pretty sexual and silly but charming enough without a great deal of emotionial complexity but the kind of fun you get in this sub genre.
So, yeah! Next one!

This is the story of Cameron and Tal'jen, and how they come together after Cameron and his exploration group land on Tal'jen's planet. From the get-go, Robin builds a whole world around Cameron and his closest group of colleagues. Is it Avatar level of story-telling and world-building? No, of course not. Is it extremely captivating and way more than I ...more
It’s been a while since I read a book where I had this much sheer fun. I giggled all through the book, loved Cameron’s snark and the more formal, lyrical voice of Tal’Jen. I’m very much looking forward to the next book in the series!
There were some of things I really liked: the worldbuilding was great (even though the planet was slightly reminiscent of the one in the movie Avatar), the pacing was very nice (except for that spot of drama near the end — it could’ve been developed into something really good, but instead it felt ...more
