No Sleep till Doomsday is the third and final installment in author Laurence MacNaughton's Dru Jasper series. The story is set in present-day Denver, in & around Dru’s home and crystal shop, in a world where sorcerers and magic lurk beneath everyday life, unbeknownst to most people. Dru doesn’t have strong magical ability, but what she does have she uses to help people with magical problems.

Today I’m reviewing the third (and possibly the final) instalment in Laurence MacNaughton’s Dru Jasper series plus I’m very pleased to offer a giveaway – so check out the information at the bottom of the post if you want to chuck your hat into the ring – because who doesn’t want to win free books (especially when they’re this good)??

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book and chose to review it. This in no way impacts my opinion.
This is an okay ending. Overall I liked the book but I thought the very end was a little meh. But I enjoyed it so much that it made it so good! I definitely recommend this series!

I read an uncorrected advance reader copy.
The apocalypse is still building in this third book of the Dru Jasper Series. Each character has their own pre-apocalyptic problems from date night to double cross. Entrenched relationships are tested and new bonds prove their worth. Adding in to that magic lessons and rivalry; preventing the end of the world just got harder. An immensely engrossing read that I loved to the finish. As soon as you believe one thing something else brings doubt; who is caus ...more

Three books in, and I'm still really enjoying this series. It's light without being childish, funny without sacrificing real emotions or action, and just all around fun.
In this third book, the unlikely heroine, newly-minted crystal sorceress Dru Jasper, faces off against Lucretia, a much stronger and older crystal sorceress with powers a quantum leap above Dru's. Lucretia was -- and maybe is? -- one of the seven Harbingers, the 1960s-era group of sorcerers intent on breaking all the seals on the ...more

Dru Jasper, a crystal sorceress, and her friends are convinced they have stopped the end of the world. Bu there’s No Sleep till Doomsday (trade from Pyr) once a magical amulet is stolen from her shop. The trail leads to an irradiated empty town deep in the desert and a second demon car as powerful as her friend Grayson’s vehicle. The action is non-stop and the evil sorceress really wants to destroy the world. Laurence MacNaughton adds another pulse pounding tale in this fun series. Review printe

SO much going on in this book! First we have the ongoing saga of preventing Doomsday. Then we get multiple view points. Nice. Book three definitely is definitely more action packed! I have to mention that I totally felt for the villain in this book. Hey, it happens! I felt she was a unique character. The story is good. Some parts lagged for me and felt repetitive but it wasn’t enough to ruin the story. My girl Rane is still kicking ass. With each book, I love her more and more. All in all this i

First time reading this series, so hopped into book #3. I liked the fact, the author still introduces the characters and tells things about what had happen to the characters the last time, so I wouldn't worry about picking up the other books which I probably will. I just wanted to check it out to see if I liked it. This was a pretty cool book with it's own flavor which is sorcerers, apocalypse and demonic cars. Pretty awesome. The book was easy to follow, I liked how Mr. MacNaughton descriptions

This is the third book in the Dru Jasper series and these books keep getting better and better. This time Dru and her friends have to stop an evil sorceress from breaking the sixth seal of the apocalypse and destroying the world. She's still trying to figure out her relationship with Grayson and her other friends are still making her crazy. These books are fun fast reads with lots of action. I can't wait for the next one.

I grew up in a creaky old colonial house in Connecticut that just might’ve been haunted. As a kid, I was a choirboy in a church that was built in 1754. I also pounded out stories on a black Remington typewriter until I sold my first magazine article at age 19.
