“His smile makes my vajayjay squirm,” is an actual sentence in this book. And the heroine has the worst victim complex I’ve ever read about. I can’t.

4 stars!!!

“Lemons only suck if you let them. If you look hard enough, they might even be gold in disguise.”

Dawn L Chiletz is one of those authors that never fails to make me laugh, whether it is intentional or not and her portrayal of many a keyboard warrior that hides behind a screen is as hilarious as it is enlightening. But this book also has a deeper message and it is that, that really brings this book into its own. We all know an Angry Annie, but do you real

This story was totally different than anything I have ever read before. At first I didnt know what to think about this book and then the story grew on me like Annie grew on Joss. I couldnt put it down. It was so dang cute!! Im so happy that I stumbled upon it accidently on Amazon.

Sometimes life gives you lemons and sometimes it lets you find hidden treasure, and Angry Annie is definitely a rare gem.

"Angry Annie" is the 4th book of Dawn L. Chiletz's that I've read, and I have several more to read before I can say I've read all of her work. But, based on what I HAVE read, I can say that Angry Annie is unlike anything else Dawn has written. Angry Annie is a romantic comedy, heavy on the comedy, but also on growth, acceptance, understanding, and last, but not least, romance. One of my favorite things about Dawn's writing is that you never know what to expect when you start, and you never know ...more

Angry Annie is laugh out loud hilarious with ample gardening innuendos!! This story is once again unlike anything I have ever read! Dawn Chiletz has a way of telling a story that I have never read before. Her story telling is unique and flawless and I am constantly looking for a new story from her. I never know what I will find between each cover, and Angry Annie was is no exception.

Can I just tell you that Annie reminded me a bit of my grandmother, except well... I don't think that my grandmoth

Journalists are well known for their persistent sense of uncovering a story... in any sneaky way possible. But what happens when you look beyond the story and discover the human side of someone you totally misjudged 100%... do you go on and destroy them or do you evolve as a person and a professional and turn everything around? This author is amazing and I will certainly be adding her to my 1-click and favourites list. This story is hilarious from beginning to end, and I loved the banter between Joss and Annie. This is a well written flawless story, which relates to the effect of social media and how it impacts on our daily lives, as well as friendship, and self discovery. Romantic comedies are my favourite genre, and this story has it in abundance, especially all of the laugh out loud moments throughout. I cannot to r ...more

Angry Annie is the very first book I’ve read by Dawn L. Chiletz! Where the hell have I been? Is all her books this great? Y’all I am floored by the hilarity that is this book. I laughed so dang much my husband and kids thought I was nuts! I was literally cackling uncontrollably from start to finish.

These characters were more then perfect! From Annie the tough as nails old lady with the super potty mouth who stole the show! Joss who was such a fun, different and refreshing character with a perso

One hundred percent honesty here, I totally chose to read this book because of the cover. I figured if a cover can crack me up imagine what’s inside that book! So, if you look at this cover and have the same thought DO IT! I laughed so hard I had tears running done my face. It doesn’t even stop there though, nope, because along with being hands down the most hilarious book I’ve ever read Angry Annie still contains a whole lot of heart, much like Annie herself.

I have come to expect a lot from Dawn’s books and she does not disappoint with Angry Annie. As much as this is a book about finding your place in this world and those that you can love and can love you, it is also a commentary about our fixation with social media and the effect it has.

Joss is a character that had my heart from the beginning. Granted, there were a couple of times that I want to kick her butt, but for the most part I could relate to her. Wanting more in her career, she decided to

This story is written by a new to me author,it was nice, funny and thought provoking.
I'll be checking out Dawn L. Chiletz previous works as soon as possible because Angry Annie was surprising and her flawless writing conquered me.

Joss is the fact-checking girl for a newspaper but her dream is to become a reporter so when she comes across a nasty review for her sister's new bakery she decides to write an article in order to expose the real person behind the alias "Angry Annie".

My side hurt from laughing at this book. This author has an amazing way of making you laugh, but also learn a lesson at the same time. Jos is determined to find out why Annie is so angry and why she leaves the horrible reviews she does.

Annie was such a great character. So much more to her than her anger and loved watching Jos peel back layer by layer and discover who Annie really is deep down.

Add in a hot neighbor who cares for Annie that just may have an interest in Jos, and see what develops t

First: this book most definitely DOES NOT SUCK.
Unless you’re Annie, then everything sucks, but that isn’t a bad thing.

Second: this story is laugh out loud funny. Like really funny, without being obviously funny. Annie is the definition of Snarky. If you looked up snarky on google (cause who the fuck uses dictionaries) and google listed pictures of things you were looking up, wait google does do that. If you look up snarky in google images, you’d find Annie. If I knew how to post a pic or a gif,

A dear friend said you need to read this book she reminds me of you and another mutual friend we have. I dived in not knowing what it was about, and boy am I glad I did. I want to be Angry Annie when I grow up but for now I’ll be happy in knowing I’m very much like Jos a cactus on the outside but mushy on the inside. Loud, speak my mind and can sprout out the sexual innuendos so hard you’ll need a cigarette or maybe a sandwich. Who am I to judge you?

OMGosh! I laughed so much reading this! My kids kept asking me why I was giggling, and of course I couldn’t tell them! They were pretty inappropriate! I have a skewed sense of humor anyways and thought they were freaking hilarious! Especially when Annie is asking Joslyn why she’s asking about her neighbor. (Right after Annie asks if she’s writing an article about Annie or who lives near Annie, you’ll know when you read it. Can’t put it in my review for obvious reasons, plus it was one of my favo ...more

I'm pretty sure that nothing I write in my review will do justice for how much fun this book is! I thought I knew what I was getting myself into, but... nope. This book blew my expectations out of the water.

Joss is a fact checker for a local publication, but she aspires to be a journalist. When she discovers an online "Troll" has attacked her sister's new bakery before it's even opened for business... she is inspired with a story idea.

She wants to get the 4-1-1 on "Angry Annie" the internet trol

This is a huge part of why I love book blogging.  Reading and sometimes meeting new to me authors!

Dawn L. Chiletz is a new to me author and what a fun introduction with Angry Annie.

First, Angry Annie is a great book title! But it's about so much more than just Annie, it's the people in her world!

This is a love story, both past and present. How love in all it's different facets can change a person, good and bad.

When introduced to Joss, I was on the fence about her.  I admired her aggressive/asser

This book literally had me laughing out loud! Although it is billed as a Romantic Comedy, there was a strong focus on Joss and her growing relationship with Angry Annie! She pitches an idea to write a story expose the internet troll to her publisher, and they strike a deal. Joss can write the article in her own time using her own funds for

I knew this book was going to be funny as soon as I saw the cover. I didn't need to read a blurb, or wonder if my reading slump was going to keep me from finishing, because Dawn L. Chiletz had me hooked from the very first page.

Romantic comedies are one of my favorite genres, but because I have read so many of them that I find myself being extra critical of them these days. But let me be the first to tell you that Angry Annie isn't your typical romantic comedy. It's a hilarious, laugh out loud

Joss Walters did not know what she was getting into when she crossed paths with the crotchety, cantankerous, and downright rude Annie McClintonuck. Hoping to expose Annie as a fraud, Joss seeks her out under the guise of interviewing her for a newspaper. A paid interview, mind, because Annie is not giving anything away for free, you know.

Not only does the wily Annie seem to outwit Joss at every turn, she’s also got a hunky neighbour that Joss is more than ready to get to know better.
