Do not judge this book by its cover because it’s the only good part. Some of the recipes are 2 pages long! Some instructions say Add 2 parts this, 1 part that, and 3 peppers (or 15 tea bags). How much is a “part?” And why create a syrup for everything? You can easily add simple syrup and Campari (or ginger or anything else) as individual ingredients. The author even measures sugar in “quarts” instead of cups. Nobody does that. There were so many obscure ingredients and time-intensive recipes that no home mixologist would ever benefit from this book.

Really pretty cocktail book with a fun smattering of drink recipes and some tidbits about iconic Miami bartenders. Read this one for research :)
