Zola was the intended queen to ascend to her family’s throne and now she can wait no longer to take the position she never wanted on Frizzlea, a world foreign to her, yet her home. Since leaving Earth, she has grown, realized that the fate of her home planet could lay in her hands, yet still, she is just a teen, not a warrior. I wasn’t too sure what to expect when I started reading The Ascending. I knew that big things were going to happen. It was the when and where that got me sucked into reading it. I couldn’t put this book down. I read it within 1 1/2 days. I couldn’t help but not care for Zola, Pin, Zin, and Florix. I write YA / NA books, but I don't like being confined to subgenres within those. I read everything from fantasy and sci-fi to paranormal to romance fiction. So, who is to say I won't come out with paranormal series?

My novels usually feature strong girls who are fighting both internal and external battles but usually prevail in the end. There might also be age-gap romances featured. Sue me—I like
