So lost that home was a distant memory – a place that you never had hope of finding it again?

Complex, action packed, steamy, heart breaking, soul mending story that you will want to read! I read in this book one sitting.... couldn't put it down.. such a page turner. The writing flowed so well and the characters were so well crafted they will live in my head for a long time.

I have been waiting since, book one, Blackbird Fly Home for this book about Bas and Ten. The wait was so worth it, this was a wonderful story of opening one's heart and loving someone after great loss.

I was given a copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

This is the second book about Morgan Doyle’s private security firm and I enjoyed it more than I did the first in the series. After an operation to save three people from an international terrorist, the rescue team divides into two groups to keep the men safe. Liam and his daughter are protected by a cop and a security team member. Bas is taken to Ten’s home for medical care and protection. Inevitably, Liam, Aleksy and Trent fall

This book was just as good as the first book. I am the kind of person who looks at the cover and if the cover doesn't grab my attention I usually move on. I know that's stupid but that's even how I buy wine, if I like the label design I buy it. The covers for the books aren't eye catching but the content inside is amazing. This book was more than just Bas and Ten. It was also about Teent, Liam and Alexsky. We got two for the price of one and i

This was such a good read. When I first started reading it I thought it would be about two main characters but the thing is, it is actually about two seperate couples. Both couples are intertwined in each other’s lives one way or another and both couples have one man that lost one of their boyfriend/husband to their time in the military. So starting over is not easy and it will take someone special to get these men to live again.

The first man is Ten. Ten lost his boyfriend, Sawyer, in the most h

The past has haunted Ten for so long he doesn't know how to live without his all-consuming grief and anger. One kiss from Bas challenged that belief but like the brave man he is...he ran. Now with Bas missing he'll have to stop running away from him and race toward him instead. Whether he opens his heart to a new future, one with happiness and love, is the question.

In Blackbird Fly Home we briefly meet Ten and Bas and see an explosive moment between them. Without this foundation, without learnin

"Love, Friends, and, Family"

Did you ever come across a book that you had to read?  Immediately?  If not sooner?  A book, that despite being an inanimate object, had actually caused all other reading of all other books to come to a screeching halt?  Well, I recently came across a book such as this.  When I came across my next read, by an author I had read b

The way this story is written is very interesting because instead of one love story, we get two completely different love stories. When I first started reading, I thought that the author was going to set up the next book by giving us a hint from the characters in it, like she did with book one in this series. However, while all of these characters are related in a way, there are two completely different love stories and two completely separate HEAs.

I liked Ten and Bas and the story be

This is the second book in The Doyle Global Securities Series. A gripping book the writing was good. There are two stories here really. The main story is about Ten and Bas. The other is Treint, Liam and Aleksy as well as Liam’s daughter Lily. I loved Lily she was so sweet and yet smart and resilient. It is hard to write so the two groups of characters don’t in the end feel like each of their stories wasn’t cheated. The author did a good job combining the two stories. But I did feel that there wa ...more

Tenley (Ten) has had a year to think about Sebastian (Bas) and the kiss they shared. A year to fight the feeling of wanting another man. A year to live with the guilt of that wanting. When Bas is kidnapped Ten knows he can't lose another man he loves.

Ten asks Trent for help in rescuing Bas. Aleksy is also called in on the rescue. They find that Liam and his daughter Lily are being used by an old foe. Liam helps Bas escape. Trying to redeem himself. Both Bas and Liam are wounded in the rescue. Le

Fantastic book!

I thought book one in this series was amazing but this book is fantastic. The characters are so well written that the readers become hooked on them. It was full of emotion and the reader travels those emotions with the characters. You swing between laughing, crying , smiling and worrying.
This author writes these men so well that you become entwined with them. These books pull you in and refuse to let you go.

I don't even know where to begin. Lets start with Tenley Pinkerton, he works security for Mason. When one of the guys that Mason served with disappears, he has to call Ten in for the recovery. Bas Monroe, Morgan's lawyer, friend and brother in arms is missing. The sooner Ten finds him, the better for his physical health. Not to mention the unfinished business between Bas and Ten. Their relationship is sweet, for two very tough guys, fraught with feelings that neither k

Kendel Duncan has definitely penned another hit with Finding My Way Home, the second book in the Doyle Global Securities series.

It is full of suspense, amazing connections and some super steamy moments, making it heart-breaking, powerful, gripping and intense. And I loved every second of it.

The surprising thing with this romance, is that it actually focuses on two separate relationships, wonderfully weaving different subplots. It is impressive how well all of the characters are developed, each

I was looking forward to reading this book because I loved the first one in this series but Finding My Way Home is not what I expected. The story about Ten and Bas is great, I love their amazing connection and the way they deal with Ten's doubts and fears but the addition of Liam, Trent and Aleksy's story was unexpected and a bit confusing even though I really liked it as well. The stories are intertwined but also separate and I had a hard time following what was going on as there are a lot of a ...more

A Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words Review An Alisa Review:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

This was another great story to continue this series. The tension from Ten and Bas from the previous book in worked out while we get to meet another group of men, Liam, Trent and Aleksy, and get to see them maneuver a new relationship. I also loved more of a look into Morgan’s background and can’t wait to read the next book when it comes out.

Bas being kidnapped helps to have Ten push away his doubts and fears.

Kendel Duncan is the pen name for Author Dara Nelson. Why did I choose a pen name? Simple – different genres. I started out writing M/F paranormal romance books, vampires and such. And while I still do love a good vampire tale – it’s the M/F part that guided me to separate my writing. My characters changed. They let me know that my heart, my love, my joy was in writing M/M fiction so that is where ...more
