I absolutely loved this book in the White Stealth Clan series. At first, I was surprised to follow the story of Denyes from book one. In book one I didn't like Denyes' character because she knew good and well Warwick had found his mate, but didn't want to accept it and she wanted the spot. This book made me change my mind about her, there is much more to her than meets the eye. I found the dynamic that she was mates with a rouge named Joseph intriguing and the bond that they had was addicting to read about. The instant bond they had and the protective nature Joseph had over Denyes had me wanting more. I think this story was a little darker than the last one which liked. I can't decide which book I liked better they were both so good and fast reads. I can't wait to see what else is in store for the White Stealth Clan, but I can guess it will be suspenseful, steamy, and possibly a little dark like this one.

Who is Denyse Blake? What are her goals and dreams? Who is Joseph Delane & what does he do that could ruin lots of lives? Wno are Derek, Marq, Tye, Brice, and Sasha? Who are the good guys and who are the bad guys? Why are the bad guys bad guys? What have they done? Where are all these folks headed to? When Derek tries to protect Denyse from Brice, what happens made me cheer for Joseph and growl at Marq. What is the deal with Marq? Who is he? Why do I feel like he is hiding his true intentions and who he is? What happens to Derek? When Marq finds Brice & Derek, what happens to Sasha and Denyse? When a rescue attempt is made, what happens? Who heads off where? Read to find out! This one kept me on the edge of my seat in spots.

Captive is the second book in The White Stealth Clan series by author Sarah Stein. I believe this could be read as a standalone romance, although, I do recommend starting at the beginning of the series. Reading the first book, Awakening, will give you the backstory to fully understand and appreciate Captive’s storyline. Just know that it’s not mandatory.

Captive tells the story of Denyse, who was kidnapped in the first book along with two of her other packmates (Sasha and Derek). They were all taken by several rogue werewolves (Joseph, Tye, Marq, and Brice). Denyse and Joseph soon discovered that they were mates and the story became really captivating.

I only wish that the story was expanded. I wasn’t ready for it to end when it did. Looking forward to the next in the series!

I enjoyed this one much more than the first in the series. The story flowed very well and the characters were interesting and well developed.

I liked the darker edge to this one, it also had alot more going on in the story as well as introducing new characters and extra character POV on occasion.

Denyse is a strong character and I liked that she end up being very selfless at times, in spite of her initial behaviour in book 1. Her character developed well as the story progressed, but not as much as Joseph.

Joseph was very interesting and I particularly enjoyed his story and part in this book.

The writing itself was smoother and the author seemed more confident which was great.

Its shaping up to be an interesting series of paranormal novellas.

If you didn’t like Denyes from Awakening, the first book in the series then you are not alone. When she is kidnapped by rogue werewolves all she wants to do is escape and get back to her pack but first she needs to figure why she is so drawn to her captor.

When Joseph and his pack decide to attack he didn’t plan on taking any captives but now that he has Denyes he doesn’t want to give her back. He will do whatever is necessary to protect her and claim her as his mate.

The connection and chemistry between them was intense. I liked how we got to see the real Denyes not just the troublemaker and how protective that Joseph was of her. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I feel a bit mean giving this just three stars but as an avid paranormal reader it just doesn't quite hit the mark while it is still enjoyable . In this book three members of the White Stealth Clan have been kidnapped by rogues & need saving , possibly from a fate worse than death for the females . Worwick just isn't Alpha enough , in fact i go so far to say that Joseph although starting off as bad guy shows more Alpha tendencies , as a first go at a paranormal series Sarah Stein almost has it & this was better than the first book , heat up the sex scenes & make your Alpha more dominant & you'll hit the jackpot because this could be a great series as the characters are well rounded out with great personalities & the plot hits all the right spots , looking forward to the next in series .

With more action than the first book, we take a look at the kidnapped members of The White Stealth Clan and their captors.

Denyse is kidnapped by some rogues, along with two other members of her clan. What she doesn't know is the captor that is dragging her along is her Mate. He knew the first time he saw her face, but she hasn't seen him yet and all she wants to do is kill him.

Joseph is so screwed. He is meant to be a rogue and he was until he kissed her and his need made him take and mark her as his. Now how does he survive the others and keep his Mate?

This is the second book of The White Stealth Clan series. This book picks up where book one left off with the kidnapped clan members and the motives of the kidnappers. This book is darker and full of more action than the first book. There are many more detailed twist and turns. I enjoyed reading this book and trying to figure out what will happen next to our captives.

I enjoyed the story-line and getting to learn more about the characters. This a fast paced book.

I recommend this book. You will enjoy the challenges and adventures.

Good

The White Stealth Clan is evolving and changing. I didnt care for Denyes in book 1 because she wanted Alpha and that was her only goal. This book she's taken and Joseph wants her and he's screwed its the only thing he can think about. These two have a intense connection but they are in one hot ass mess of a situatuon. This book ends leaving you wanting to know what happens next.

The White Stealth Clan evolves. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, having just come from book one. Awesome descriptions, a suspenseful storyline, and a cool heroine make this a recommended read. Oh, and the sensual scenes are vivid, but not over the top with an excellent build up of desire. Well done.
