This book wasn't one of my favorites by this author. Too much ex-drama and virtually NO sex. I found myself bored by this couple. Maddie was cute though...

I thought Drawn Into Love was a great addition to the Fluke My Life series. Lucas was the epitome of an ARR hero with his instant possessiveness and attraction to Courtney. I loved how invested into their relationship he became in such a short time, which is what I always look forward to from these heroes. Was it a little over the top? Yes. But in the best way possible that had me swooning all over the place.
Courtney was also a super likable character and I admired how she was able to move on from the life she was living and make a better one for herself. I really felt for her sometimes when she was struggling with losing people close to her but then I was cheering her on for finding more people and letting them love her just as much.
I did get a little iffy about some things from Lucas' past that were brought up. I would have been okay with it for the most part, and honestly I was expecting it, but in the end it just didn't seem to add anything to the story so then I was wondering why it was in there to begin with. But the ending of the book gave me all the closure I needed and I chose to just put these issues out of my head.
Overall, I highly recommend reading this book. It's part of a series and you do see some of the past characters but can be read as a standalone with no problem.

I'm sad to see this series end because it was such a fun series. After meeting Lucas in previous books and how bad his wife treated him, I was so glad to see he got his own book. Courtney was such a sweet heroine. I loved her for Lucas and his daughter.
This is a pretty low angst book. There is drama with both of their exes but this couple stood strong together. Barely any pushing away. We really got to see this couple as a couple through out most of the book.
I listened to this on audible and both narrators were great. The male narrators voice was a bit too manly to pull off the daughter and women's voices but other than that, they were very good.

This one begins with the end of Courtney's marriage as her husband cheated and got his secretary pregnant....while Courtney was going through infertility treatments. She moves to NYC, gets a new job and buys a house with her million dollar divorce settlement.
Lucas is hired as the architect to so the work on her house. He's a divorced,single father of one adorable little girl
Though the attraction is instant, the actual build up was slow. I appreciated that they spent some time together,hanging out before deciding to take the next step. When they did decide to take a chance on something with them Lucas turned into the growly Alpha hero that ARR usually delivers. He's possessive, protective, loyal and a great dad. Courtney was a strong and wonderful h. She fell in love with Maddi and treated her like her daughter. All sweetness and cuddles........
But.....the ex drama! In the first half Courtney's ex decides he wants her back. He comes to NY and calls her constantly hoping for a reunion. Then in the latter half Lucas's ex reappeared and spent the damn night at his apartment! She randomly popped in with her skanky friend Heather until she disappeared again having supposedly moved back in with her boyfriend. Then there's Courtney's ex mother in law. She had a great relationship with Lori and continued talking to her after the divorce. Until Lori ambushed get at a restaurant with the ex's appearance. He too, however melted into the background with the threat of a restraining order. Having these two exes so present just seemed like unnecessary drama however.
Nevertheless I enjoyed this one for the most part. Courtney,Lucas and Maddi were fantastic together. His family members were all great secondary characters too. With Courtney's"unexplained infertility"(which is an actual thing, thank you Google) given as the cause of her fertility issues I did find the surprise pregnancy a bit OTT. As much as I love babies in epilogues I needed a better explanation than God works in mysterious ways to explain away the pregnancy.
All in all this is one of my go to author's, while I've had some disappointments from her I'll always purchase an ARR book.

Ahhh, such a sweet and emotional end for this amazing series!
Lucas and Courtney deserved so much their own HEA after all the pain of their past, and that’s what Aurora Rose Reynolds gave them, in the most delicious slow burn way. It was everything I expected and wanted for the conclusion of one of my fav series! Loved how these two complemented one another perfectly, becoming a natural and heart touching family. And that epi was perfection! So many feels in the last of the Fluke My Life! <3 <3 <3 <3

But everything wasn’t fine, because I found out he was a cheating jerk who knocked up his secretary while I was going through fertility treatments in hope of giving us the family we had talked about for years.
I hadn’t planned on fighting him for anything after I found out about his affair, but once I found out that his mistress was pregnant I lost my mind. I wanted him to suffer in some way. I wanted him to feel what I felt when he took my dream from me.
In the end, Tom didn’t put up a fight. He gave me a little over $10 million in our divorce settlement without batting an eye.
“Shouldn’t you be home with your girlfriend and newborn?” I ask, not able to keep the bite out of my tone.
Living in the same city with him has been hard. I hate seeing him. I hated running into his pregnant girlfriend at the grocery store, where I had to endure her catty looks.
“I still love you.” “You got another woman pregnant while we were married. While I was going through fertility treatments. So I’m sorry, but I don’t think you do love me. Really, I don’t think you ever did.” I’m tempted to shut the door in his face.
Over time things with Eva got more difficult. It became harder to pretend I was happy, and I found myself avoiding her. I didn’t like the way she treated Madeline.
I soon found out that she already had a backup plan. She had been having an affair with a man who—lucky for me—didn’t want to raise another man’s child. Eva gave me full custody and moved in with the guy.
When I first found out about Tom’s affair and went to her, she told me I should basically turn a blind eye to what her son was doing.”
Tom never took care of me when I was sick. Even when I was going through round after round of fertility treatments, he didn’t take care of me.
“Yeah. Why’d you get divorced?” Her jaw gets tight, so I expect her not to answer. But she does. “He cheated and got another woman pregnant.” “Motherfucker.”
“Lucas’s ex-wife broke up with her man and stayed with Lucas and Maddi last night. She is also having dinner with Lucas and Maddi tonight. She’s moving back to the city and is going to be staying with a friend of hers.”

You know what I’ve recently noticed? That I always start my reviews the exactly same way when it comes to the authors I love best.
Aurora Rose Reynolds is one of them, so first I’ll declare my eternal love for her and give her a huge thank you for always giving me the most wonderful pink fairytales.
Her men characters are all the same and the stories are not that different, but it could never get old.
Here’s why:
I mean, what’s not to love about a man like that? Alpha to his bones, possesive and protective of the woman he wants, speaking his mind without being afraid of anything, dirty talker and simply perfect. 😍

If you were ever on the fence in getting Kindle Unlimited, it’s worth it when you can listen to the Fluke My Life series for free (this is not the audio unlimited, it’s the Kindle one, so you can follow the ebook if you wanted to).
Aurora Rose Reynolds isn’t a favorite author of mine, but I do enjoy listening to this series. I have liked some more than others and Drawn into Love is one of those I did enjoy a lot.
I think it’s because to me, I felt like the angst is low and the cute was high. Oh and I’m a sucker for a single daddy.
Courtney is divorced, correction, she’s a rich divorced woman, looking for someone to design her renovations of her house.
Luke works on designing Courtney’s house and there’s an insta-attraction. The insta-attraction isn’t to be confused with insta-lust. It’s not that kind of book. It’s a low steamy read, as opposed to the other books in the series.
I was concerned how the insta-attraction would take the storyline, but it just ended up being cute outings with daughter Maddie in tow. Luke is a single daddy, yup, awesome.
I liked Maddie and I like how she had a huge role in the book. It really took on the storyline. I liked the problems were about the ex’s and it’s always fun to read a villain you love to hate.
I love Carly Robins as the female narrator, but I’m not a fan of Alexander Cendese. I sometimes wish authors switch of narrators for different books in the series, but oh well. I just don’t like the way Alex reads, it’s too frat boyish.
Overall, it was a fun read.

4.25 Finding Family Stars
Lucas and Courtney’s story is probably my new favorite in the series. I love so much about it, but especially the characters and the storyline.
Courtney meets Lucas following her divorce and moving to to NYC. He’s designing her remodel and when these two first meet, it’s clear that sparks will fly. Things progress at a great pace. The two of them considering all the factors at play before diving headfirst into another relationship.
What I loved most:
Lucas is caring, sweet, and takes such a great care of Maddi and Courtney. He’s the perfect guy!
Courtney, similarly to Lucas, is super sweet and caring. She a great girl who was dealt a pretty shitty hand, but doesn’t let it affect her caring nature. I loved seeing her with Maddi.
The family dynamic with Lucas’ brothers and parents.
The story is well plotted and paced. I loved the additional scenes from alternate POVs near the end. It was a very well rounded story.

An ok, one time, light read during work breaks, a little bit of drama with the main characters ex-spouses but not a lot, overall this is low on angst. Writing flows pretty well and despite characters from previous books making a appearance this can be read as a standalone.
Courtney and Lucas work well together as a couple, although they didn't draw me in as I would have liked.

Good, but wished I didn't listen to the Audible too.
I read the Kindle and listened to the Audible at the same time. I think it may have colored my enjoyment of this book. I didn't like either of the male or female narrators. I felt they made.The sentences a bit choppy.

Audiobook: Narrators – Carly Robins & Alexander Cendese
While I read most of this book, when I did listen to it I really enjoyed the performances by these narrators. Ms. Robins did an amazing job of both male and female voices and I wouldn’t mind listening to her should she do a solo reading of a dual pov. I liked Mr. Cendese’s tone but there were times that it was so low I was unable to hear him without turning the volume up. I also struggled with his female voice especially that of the little girl. Once I adjusted to him I was okay but it did take me some time to do so.
This was probably my favorite of the series. I loved Lucas so much! I mean, what’s not to love about a sexy single dad of a little girl? Lots of ovary exploding moments here ladies! While both of these characters have other people from their past that cause drama, they both remained fast and true to what they wanted from each other. Unfortunately, Courtney has a secret. When things seem like everything is going to work out for this couple, she has to let that secret out. I actually found that the pinnacle of that drama was a bit underplayed and was pretty happy to find it so.
Other than the other person drama, this book was just absolutely wonderful. It’s fast paced, steamy, the characters are well developed and the epilogue was perfect! That epilogue made me so very happy! Overall, a very good read and one I’m glad I didn’t skip past.

3.5-4.0 RATING - Better than I was expecting based on the writing I'm used to from this author in the Until series (which I'm a fan of). The pacing, editing, and overall story just seemed more polished than I've seen from this author before. I'm not sure if she's growing as an author or had a better support team in place for this book (hopefully both) but I was happy to spend a lazy Saturday night reading this one. Both sweet and cute with a good mix of heat. Worked for me.

What a sweet single dad story. I love me some single dads and Lucas is a pretty freaking amazing one. He and Courtney had some crazy chemistry together. It was really adorable how much Courtney loved his daughter Maddi. This one was a quick read. There wasn’t a lot of drama and low angst. Just a nice and sweet love story.

This book was so much sweetness and love. I couldn’t put it down. From the first page I was drawn into it. And other than a few small moments I read the whole book with a huge smile on my face filled with warm fuzzies and so damn grateful to be given this ARC to review.
It’s no surprise that I loved it, I am such a massive fan of Aurora’s writing and I especially love her over the top alphas in her until series but these ones are the perfect counterbalance to those. We still get the awesome characters and a growly, possessive alpha, I just find there’s a little less OTTness, if you know what I mean.
Courtney was such a sweetheart and despite everything that her ex-husband had put her through she wasn’t the least bit bitter or guarded. Lucas was the perfect partner for her and of course I immediately fell for the sexy single dad. But the star of the show for me was Madeline.
This is the type of book you keep on your bedside table to read over and over. Loved It

4 super sweet and fluffy stars
This is SUCH a cute read! Sweet, easy, sexy and swoony, it’s the kind of romance that Aurora Rose Reynolds writes so well, and I loved losing myself in this gloriously fluffy love story.
Courtney has just gotten out of an unhappy marriage and is starting over in NYC. She has bought herself a house in dire need of renovation, and that’s how she meets hot architect, Lucas. Lucas is also divorced, and is a devoted single father to his adorable 6-year-old daughter, Maddie.
From the moment Courtney and Lucas meet, sparks fly. They both feel an attraction which leads to them finding more ways to run into each other and more opportunities to spend time together. There is no game playing, no stupid, no drama, no holding back. They like each other, they don’t hide it, deciding to see where it goes, and they follow their hearts. Yes, it’s that simple, but Reynolds brings so much heart to their story that I revelled in every moment of it.
Both Courtney and Lucas have been burned before and their exes have done a number of them (and continue to so), but it’s something for them to work through as they fall deeper and deeper for each other. There is no OW/OM drama though, they are together and committed and working through the hurdles together, and I loved watching them move toward the future that they both want so badly.
It’s sweet, easy and sexy. Lucas is an absolute sweetheart and a bit of a dirty talker, God bless him, and it’s so beautiful to watch him as a father to little Maddie, who absolutely melted my heart. And Courtney has had a hard life, but she hasn’t let it bring her down. She’s strong and sensible with dreams of love and family, and she finds that in Lucas, and all of it is just gorgeous.
This book is part of the Fluke My Life series (Lucas is the brother of Levi from book #1 – Running into Love), but it can absolutely stand alone, with only minor character crossovers. Though I did love catching up with the characters that we saw.
I was so in the mood for a read like this, and if you want easy and angst free with a beautifully happy ending – complete with epilogue that left me grinning like a loon – then this is the book for you!

Honestly, I would have given this more stars, I fell in love with these two. This is the book of Lucas, Levi’s brother from Runing Into Love. You know, the brother that tugged at your heart, because his wife was awful, to him, their little girl and really everyone she came into contact with, the wife that every time she spoke, you were thinking “oh no she didn’t”. Well this is his beautiful story with an equally beautiful woman. These two were both married to spouses that cheated, so in Sue’s world, the exes don’t count...at all.
Courtney is new to the city for her fresh start, after fleeing from the cheating ex, who continually still bothers her while he is living with the pregnant mistress. He is something else and Courtney is amazing, so deserving of Lucas who treats her like the princess she deserves to be. She had been through so much, growing up in foster homes and a cheating ex, she just wanted her hea. Lucas is a single doting father, I’m talking ovary overload adorable doting. He is such a great guy, who deserves a great woman after his ex wife, who is still causing problems. But he and Courtney stand together against their exes and it was refreshing to see. He is so wonderful and honestly I can’t say enough good things about him...oh and he cooks, did I mention that? You know what that means, right? Dibs, double dibs, I called him, read him first.

Loved the secondary/supporting characters, his daughter, her funny af outspoken BFF and his supportive family. We get a heart warming epilogue and an hea. Sorry for the long review, but absolutely floved this book, made my heart happy.

This was my first book by Aurora Rose Reynolds, and I have to say, I was expecting… more. It was just okay—nothing special. I didn’t really buy the love between the two MC’s.
Lucas is a nice guy, but within a day of spending time with her, he’s calling her baby. Personally, I can’t stand the endearment. It’s demeaning and sounds childish. Not only that, he’s telling her what to do and scolding her about her personal safety. Like, how in the world has she managed to stay alive all this time?
Here’s something I’ve never understood. They guy says he wants to build something long term with the woman. They get a little carried away with the kissing and then he pulls back because he doesn’t want to rush things. He wants them to get to know each other first. SOOOOO. Instead of staying and talking, he says he has to go because if he stays, he won’t be able to control himself. Because she’s so beautiful, ya know. HOW IN THE HECK DOES THAT MAKE SENSE???? When does this getting to know you happen? What a load of bull. If a guy did that to me, I’d send him packing. But sadly, the heroine is supposed to feel honored by his sacrifice. DUM DUM DUM

Drawn Into Love is a worthy conclusion to the very successful and popular Fluke My Life series. Aurora Rose Reynolds has delivered a beautifully written and touching second chance at love story filled to the brim with emotions and featuring two charming, endearing but also broken characters. This book is about finding a new path in your life after a hurtful divorce, admitting your mistakes and facing your fears and moving forward. It's about what truly makes a family and a parent. You don't have to share the same blood in order to love a child whole-heartedly like it's your own. That's what Aurora wanted to convey with Lucas and Courtney's story. I've devoured it with a smile on my face and tears running down my cheeks.
We've been introduced to Lucas Freemont and his sweet little daughter Madeline in the previous books. At that time he was married to evil Eva who everybody hated due to her coldness. I was hoping that he would find the strength to divorce her and find a good woman who deserved his and Maddi's love. This man had so much to give.

It's killing him to see his daughter miss her mother but he is trying to compensate for her lack of love and attention. I adore Lucas with every fiber of my heart. He is a great, swoon-worthy dad and caring, supportive partner. He treated Courtney with patience and respect. Lucas fought for Courtney and to earn her trust because he knew that she was worth it. This woman was everything he ever wished for - loyal, sincere and loving. She showered little Maddi with affection and genuinely cared about her. I enjoyed the sizzling hot chemistry between Lucas and Courtney as much as their romantic and tender moments. Together with Madeline they were the picture perfect, happy little family.
I'm sad that this amazing rom com series has come to an end. It's very hard to say goodbye to characters that have engraved themselves into your heart forever. Aurora did a fantastic job with this book. She gave Lucas and Courtney the story they deserved. Sometimes we need more than just one attempt to find our one true love and soul mate. I highly recommend this top read and give Drawn Into Love 5 well deserved stars.

Courtney is the sweetest and I admired her immediately. She is caring, kind and stands her ground when it comes to her ex-husband. Down to earth and with real insecurities, she made a perfect heroine. Lucas is everything I expected from Aurora Rose Reynolds, he's caring, sexy and an alpha. Once he decides to pursue Courtney he is ALL in and considers her part of his family. The sexual chemistry between them is off the charts and make you blush 💕 The third star of the book is Lucas' daughter Maddi, she is absolutely adorable and adds extra love and joy to the story line.

Courtney is making a new life for herself in New York. Away from her ex-husband and all his lies and betrayals. She wants to start afresh and now has a new job and a new home. When she gets an architect to design the renovations for her new homes she gets much more than she expected. Lucas isn't looking for a relationship, he has a young daughter he adores and a job he loves. Then he sees Courtney. Beautiful, warm and sweet, he knows he needs to take a chance on love again. He just has to persuade her to do the same.
Aurora Rose Reynolds never lets you down. When you need a sweet contemporary romance with a scrumptious hero you need to grab one of her books. You will finish it with a delighted smile feeling all warm and fuzzy. Which is exactly how I felt when I reached the last page of Drawn Into Love.
How could it be otherwise? It contains not only a delicious hero and a lovely heroine, but there's an adorable little girl and a cute dog. I was a helpless reader held hostage by the sheer adorable-ness. But, it wasn't just puppy dog eyes that kept me reading. The love story was really cute, Courtney and Lucas had great chemistry creating a modern day fairy tale romance.
If you have been reading this series you will recognise Lucas from previous books in the series. A few characters from the previous books pop up in this as well. However, this can easily be read as a standalone. Another great book by Reynolds, I am now eagerly awaiting whatever she publishes next.

Another fantastic story from Reynolds!
This was so much more than just the build of a romantic relationship, it was about the creation of a family. About finding everything you ever dreamed of.
After suffering a heartbreaking betrayal, Courtney leaves the life she knew and is on the journey to find her new self. Lucas has also recently gone through a major change and is building a better life for him and his young daughter. When circumstances bring them together, it’s clear that they have a connection.
Throughout so much of the story, I couldn’t stop grinning. I loved Courtney and Lucas together. The excitement of the fall had me so wrapped up in this story. In addition, the relationship with Maddie was so sweet and gave the story a whole new dimension.
It was impossible not to be drawn into this story. The romance, the drama, the love, the emotion; I couldn’t get enough of it.
