I got a copy of this for a fair and honest review. I am always up for a bit of mystery and crime. This was a very well written piece and it made me want more and more. I was kind of taken back when it ended. I did enjoy that switch back and forth between the years. It put a lot in to perspective. I am enjoyed how Mari handle things that were going around her.

This book was ok for me. I felt like there was a lot of background in the beginning of the book that took from the story for me a little. It was not a bad story but it took me more time than I wanted to get into the book. I like books that catch me grab hold and don't let go. *This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.*
