Fen has always hated being the centre of attention.
She loves her new job, working behind the scenes at the Little Duck Pond Cafe and baking the scrumptious cakes that have helped its reputation soar. But frankly, she'd rather scrub the public toilet floor with a toothbrush than have to come out and talk to the customers.
She's always been happy to stay in the background a

A short but sweet love story that is sure to make you smile!

I was so excited to go back to the Little Duck Pond Café and catch up with Fen, Jaz, and Ellie... I truly love the essential part the friendship between these three ladies plays in this series.... every time I finish one of these books I want to visit this café, have some yummy goodies, and a long girl bonding session with these ladies! This book can be read as a standalone, but why would you want to? The more time spent with these char

Favorite Quotes:

I’ve always hated my blushes. You can’t have any secrets if you turn as red as a ripe tomato at anything that’s even mildly unsettling. When I was younger, I used to wear a weird green-coloured cream on my face that was supposed to hide the blushes. Then my latest crush commented loudly, in front of the whole class, that I always looked like Casper the friendly ghost. So the tube of cream went in the bin.

5☆ A warm feel good, enchanting read, I didn't want to end!

It's so amazing to be back with the Little Duck Pond Cafe and at Christmas Time too, it's the best time of the year.
It's the third book in the series and what a fantastic series it is too.
This can be read as a standalone as Rosie gives the reader enough back story to keep up.

Christmas at the Little Duck Pond Cafe is full of Christmas Sparkle, Romance, Friendship, Drama, A Play, Scrumptious food and a good dose of humour.

This time round

We return to the Little Duck Pond Cafe in this Christmas novella of the fabulous, heart-warming series. This time the story is told from shy and reserved Fen’s point of view.

Fen has always been an introvert, preferring to stay in the shadows. However, when the gorgeous Ethan Fox comes to town playing Mr. Darcy she is in love. She even decides to join the local Amateur dramatics group, of course, this is where Ethan goes too. Fen is completely smitten and over time you start to see her come into

A welcome return to the wonderful setting of The Little Duck Pond Cafe, and this novella features Fen who is a much quieter member of the team. Always happy to be in the background but always smiling and happy to help people when needed! She's at her happiest when she's alone with a book and dreaming of Mr Darcy sweeping her off her feet! Just a shame that the real world doesn't work out like that too often!

Her shyness never really bothers her but she starts to feel in a rut and wants to get out

For a novella this really does pack a big punch into a really short space.

It was fabulous getting to know Fen, the quietest member of the friendship group, she may be shy but she is also a very loyal friend and all she wants to do is read romance novels, cook and have a real life romance.

Which may be why she falls for Ethan Fox, who early on I really wasn't sure about, especially as he kept pushing Fen to do things she clearly wasn't too comfortable with, such as joining the am-dram group for

This is a fabulous little novella that crams a lot in a short space!

I thought that this was a complete treat to read, I loved the plot line and the characters worked really well with the story, I thought that fen was great and I loved her personality.

The setting is great and I loved being able to visit The Little Duck Pond again. It was just as good as I remembered! The book is fine to read as a stand alone, but if you do get a chance I would really recom

I love this series and although I have not read Spring at the Little Duck Pond Cafe, the first one I don’t feel like I’ve missed anything but quite frankly why deny yourself the pleasure, read them all. However, I have brought it to read so I can catch up on the Ellie and Zak story! But to catch you up you can read my review here of Summer at the Little Duck Pond Cafe.

This novella focuses on Fen, but you still see the other girls Jaz and Ellie. Jaz is my favourite! Sorry ladies! But after this

Here we are back at the Little Duck for Christmas time, honestly the way time flies in real life it’s almost as fast as in book time. It’s always nice to go back and catch up with familiar faces.

This is just a short novella again but it’s amazing how much detail can be packed in. This time the focus is on Fen she is such a sweet character but hates being at the forefront of anything, she will be found with her nose in a book, so just my kind of girl.

All of her reserve disappears when the adorabl

Going back to The Little Duck Pond Cafe is always a joy and the latest captivating installment, Christmas at the Little Duck Pond Cafe, is sure to continue to charm and delight the many readers who have fallen in love with this fabulous series!

There is nothing that Fen hates more than being the centre of attention. Having always been perfectly happy hiding in the shadows and avoiding the spotlight, Fen would sooner clean the public toilet floor of The Little Duck Pond Cafe with a toothbrush than

Rosie Green has created a wonderful series with great characters I have come to absolutely love! I have LOVED all of the books, but this one is by far my favorite so far!!!

This one Fen’s story, and boy does she have a story to tell. I have always loved Fen, and I can relate to her. I have always been much quieter than my friends, so I can understand Fen’s struggle with fitting in. It takes a great deal to step out of your comfort zone, and I was so happy that she had reached a point to speak up

I just adore the cover of this book – so cute!

As I had hoped, the star of this book is the final member of the friendly triumvirate, Fen. It seems appropriate that she has been a little over-looked until now as she is the shyest and quietest of the three girls. always holding herself back and living vicariously through her romance novels (who here can’t relate to that scenario?) But things are about to change because Fen is falling for a man, and she is going to have to embolden herself to get h

This is book #3 in the Little Duck Pond Café and in this latest instalment we return to the village smack bang in the middle of the festive season.   Fen makes the cakes at the Little Duck Pond Café and does such a good job of them that she thinking of entering into a baking competition.  She doesn’t really like to have much interaction with people though and she’s always been happy to stay in the background rather than being centre of attention.  That is until Ethan Fox, the star role in the lo ...more

Fen is the cake baker at the Little Duck Pond Cafe ran by Ellie. Her social life has been
rather down recently and she decides that she needs to meet new friends as she hardly
knows anyone in the village. This leads her to joining the amateur dramatic group where
the handsome Ethan is. Fen can only gaze from afar as she thinks she has little chance
with someone such as Ethan. so when he notices her she is more than bowled over.
Ellie meantime has made a life with Zac and his daughter Maisie unti

It was so lovely to return to the Little Duck Pond Café and catch up with everyone. In a way I do think it would work as a standalone but if you do start with this book you might be missing out on a better understanding of the characters back stories. Also it has been such a wonderful series! So what did I think of Christmas at the Little Duck Pond Café well first of all I loved Fen, I could totally get her shyness. Along with how it impacted on her but also showing that it is just a small part ...more

I was very kindly offered an ARC in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I have given Christmas at The Little Duck Pond Cafe 3.5 stars.

This is the first time I have read anything by Rosie Green and I rather enjoyed this little foray into her world! Although this is the third book in a series, it can be read as a standalone.

Christmas at The Little Duck Pond Cafe is short and charming little novella that has an awful lot packed into such a small bo
