This graphic novel gives an overview of the life and disappearance of Amelia Earhart, focusing on her courage and daring as a pilot, but also honoring her generous spirit and kindness to the poor.

I liked the cartoony artwork, but it sort of looked hastily drawn. It could have been a little more polished. But I liked the bright colors and energetic panels!

This is a good synopsis of Amelia Earhart's life, from her childhood when she constructed her own roller coaster in her backyard, then through

I really loved this concept! And the illustration and storyline were both great! What wasn't wonderful, was the narration; Libby is a bully! She called Sam names and was rude to him, and I don't think kids need any extra exposure to that kind of nastiness. Not cool.

I quite enjoyed learning more about Amelia Earhart. And I really enjoyed that the graphic novel format made my kids extra curious to read it as well. I'm excited for this new series! Find my full review here:
Sort of a low rent Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales in terms of research and humor, though it gets points for the color printing. The dual narrators (Libby the Statue of Liberty and Uncle Sam) are clearly taken from Hale's playbook. Well enough done to be worth adding to a children's library, though.

A graphic novel that tells the history of Amelia growing up and he adventures with flying. This has full color throughout, a glossary, a list of other famous women flyers, bibliography, and Emelia's timeline.

This is a perfect book for reluctant readers and a fun way to learn history!
