When he stormed into my office and said I owed him a date, I thought he was crazy. Okay, crazy and hot. But I couldn’t help it that my advice column blocked his, uh, rooster.

Good girls like me aren’t supposed to fall for dirty-talking men with smoldering eyes and hidden tattoos—especially since now that we’re working together.

If you can call going on blind double dates and researching adult toy stores work…

Why did I want to be a good girl, again?

I really enjoyed reading Miss Behave,a nice, light hearted and sexy read.

Lizzie and Ash are two advice columnists for two rival web magazine until their bosses decide to merge putting our main characters's work on the line.At this point Miss Behave and A Guy's Guy engage in a "battle" for the best adivices.

Nikky Kaye wrote a good love-hate office romance, one of my favorite trope, with two main characters that have so much chemistry that will make every reader hot and bothered.
This is the first book I've read from this author but it wonì't be the last.

Nikky Kaye is a new to me author bringing a fun and quirky Rom/Com read in Miss Behave.

We have two advice columnists who end up competing for the same job. They are set tasks in working together to answer readers questions.

The more they work together the more they can't deny their attraction. But competing for the same job can they get their HEA??

There is great chemistry between Ash and Lizzy with funny and witty banter. Definitely an office romance with feels of an enemy to lovers story. I enjoyed my first read from Nikky Kaye, it was paced well with great characters. I look forward to reading more from Nikky.

Miss Behave is a cute romantic comedy style story that features two columnists working together to answer readers questions. There is funny and witty banter between the two main characters. Definitely an office romance and an enemy to lovers story. There were two huge discrepancies within the story for me that caused some issues reading, but most people will be able to overlook them. The biggest discrepancy was the fact that it was set up to be daily collum and then changed back to a weekly with no rhyme or reason. This should have been caught during editing.

My first book by Nikky Kaye was a slam dunk. I laughed more times than I can count and I loved how she wrote her book – this ‘author’ that takes on the prudish virgin when in fact, she’s anything but.

It was unexpected, it was funny and it was adorable too since it just took what you take for granted everyday (work, a steady paycheck and doing exactly what you love) and gives it that edge by making all of it unstable. It was also poignant in more ways than one.

I loved being able to see the differences between the male and female version of giving out advice – that part was the most interesting to me. And of course the push and pull between these two was captivating.

I enjoyed my first taste of what Nikky Kaye has to offer and I can`t wait to be able to read more from her in the future.

Lizzie’s always wanted to be a journalist . . . preferably in the newsroom. But, for now, she’s a relationship advice columnist known as Miss Behave. Her online persona believes in romance and grand gestures such as candy and flowers as well as no sex on the first date. A bit nostalgic and a lot naive, but people love it . . .too bad the lines between her real self and her online persona are starting to blur. Maybe she doesn’t always want to be the nice and good girl. Maybe she wants to be naughty, especially when she’s forced to work with Ash, the tell it like it is columnest known as The Guy’s Guy.

As the Guy’s Guy, Ash doesn’t sugarcoat his advice. He’s real and unapologetic. But, after being thrown together with Lizzie for work, maybe he finds himself bored with one night stands and wanting something more for the first time in his life. And, maybe he finds himself remembering lunch preferences and wanting to know more more about what really makes his new partner tick. And, just maybe, he’s willing to make a few grand gestures himself . . . if that’s what it takes.

Miss Behave was a fun and flirty enemies to lovers romance. Lizzie and Ash are truly complete opposites in their approaches. When they are forced to partner up as they compete for who gets to keep their column as their two magazines merge, their personalities start to become a little less rigid as they fight not only physical attraction to one another, but also a genuine friendship.

Nikky Kaye wrote some incredibly sexy and witty banter between these characters, as well as in their advice columns that is bound to keep readers entertained. Ash and Lizzie are also off the charts hot for each other and there are some scenes that will leave readers fanning themselves and begging for more!

Miss Behave is full of super sweet and romantic gestures tinged with genuinely funny moments and plenty of heat. It’s a unique read in the enemies to lovers / office romance tropes that I really enjoyed. 4.5 stars.

Miss Behave is a standalone novel by a new to me author. Nikky Kaye has turned me into a fan of her words. I will be watching out for future releases. That’s for sure. Now...back to Miss Behave and to the guy who says she owes him a date.

Lizzy loved her job as an online columnist for Hot Mess magazine. She gave both men and women advice on dating and love. Miss Behave was her pen name and her fans loved her but her advice was old-fashioned. She knew it. And the man standing in front of her definitely knew it. Ash Garrison. Her new competition. He wrote his own column called A Guy’s Guy. He was the opposite of old-fashioned. Yes. He respected women but he didn’t believe in the whole soulmate thing. He didn’t hold his reader’s hand like Lizzy did. He told them the truth. Even if it was brutal. Now, there can only be one of them to write for the merging magazine. Who will come out on top? The prim and proper or the misbehaved?

Ash and Lizzy’s relationship is hot and cold. Full of hate and lust. The truth was that they didn’t really know each other outside of the advice they gave out. Lizzy assumes that Ash a one-night stand, seven days a week kind of playboy. Ash assumes that Lizzy is a wound-tight woman waiting for Prince Charming to sweep her off her feet. She might even still be a virgin. He sees nothing wrong with that except he wants to bend her over her desk and make her scream his name. Will their time together as both writing partners and competitors shed some light on the real Lizzy and Ash?

I loved this story. I thought it was super cute, fun, and sexy. Ash and Lizzy’s banter made me laugh, and blush. He is swoony. She is sassy. I thought it was funny when she would shock him. I could just see the expression on his face when it would happen. Jaw-dropping and all.

Overall...it was a fantastic read. It is a light read with some heat, laughter, and love. The characters are lovable. The story is fun. The writing flowed. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.

Quotes:

“Are you calling me a prude?”
“No, I’m calling your advice prudish. And kind of a cock tease.”

“I think you need more bad influences in your life, Lizzie.”

“What do you want to do to me?”
“Everything. But I’ll start with simply worshipping the fuck out of you.”

Nikki Kaye is a new author to me and I have to say I instantly liked her prose. Miss Behave was easy to fall into and a great summertime/beach read. It's a light-hearted, angsty, push-pull relationship romance. I wouldn't say there are comical situations but the banter is light-hearted and funny at times, hence Romcom. Ash grew on me, I felt he was a different man towards the end than he was at the start and actually that works well for falling for him just like Lizzie did. Lizzie was very likeable throughout.

Some of the text for me was a little cliched but having said a downer comment there, I have to say the resulting story was very likeable and enjoyable. The loss of a star for me is yet again, too much friggin 'O' going on when they got it on. The story took a backseat to be replaced with lots of sex, and man this story was good enough to have a sprinkling of O's and not so much of the multiples. Maybe it's me and I'm getting old, but I don't need multiple, just a few poignant and fab ones will do to enhance a fab story and then I'd be a right happy bunny :D

One thing for sure, I'm very interested to follow Nikky and her books and see how her writing develops, she's got a prose that sits easy with the reader and I'm definitely going to read more of her books.

I requested a copy of Miss Behave to read. My reviews are my own and depict my reading experience with 100% honesty.

Loved this book! It was witty and sexy.

"He thinks he's God's gift to women, and I feel compelled to be the first recipient to return him."

Lizzie is the advice columnist, Miss Behave. Her column stands for old-fashioned values. Over the years, her online persona has started to blur with her real self. She's desperate to move over to the news desk to be a 'proper' reporter. When her job is on the line and she has to go head-to-head with a rival columnist, she doesn't expect to be intensely attracted to the cocky 'Guy's Guy', Ash.

"I'd never felt about a girl the way I felt about Lizzie Bell, and it confused the hell out of me."

Ash is instantly attracted to Lizzie. He thinks she's exactly like her online persona, and is unexpected thrilled to realise that there's a little vixen lurking under her prim but gorgeous exterior. Ash is a player and enjoys his little flings. However, the more time they spend together, the more he wants Lizzie, and the less he wants other women.

"Ash thundered into my life and my heart, like taking my first express train after a lifetime of cabs."

This was such a fun, sexy read. I enjoyed the exchanges between Lizzie and Ash. I loved how much she surprised him and flustered him, and made him think about everything he never thought he wanted. I enjoyed Lizzie's enthusiasm and impulsiveness, and how she pushed herself outside her comfort zone to rediscover her true self. Ash brought out a sexy bravery in her, and he struggled so much to keep his hands off her!

Loved this book and plan to read more from this author.

Miss Behave is a sexy 21st century style "You've Got Mail" story.

Nikky Kaye is a brand new author to me and the blurb for Miss Behave captivated me from the beginning. It was was a cute and funny read, although it was hard for me to keep my attention on the story and there was LOADS of sex. I know a lot people love all the sex, but for me I ended up skimming a lot, because once I read the first sex scene I can pretty much gauge how the rest of the sex will be. ( I do pay attention to speech because you know... sometimes important stuff is said lol)

I was taken to many movies through out reading Miss Behave, even though the story is modeled after You've Got Mail, I got more of an Ugly Truth vibe and How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days. This is probably due to their profession being in media and dealing with 'advice columns.' Unfortunately, for me I was too busy comparing this book to other things that I knew and it didn't shine on it's own for me. There were some great romantic gestures made. I hate that it was overshadowed by movies for me, but I'm hopeful it won't be that way for you.

If you are looking for a sex fueled office romance with a competition between two co-workers then you will need to read Miss Behave.

Fun and frothy romantic competition with off-the-charts chemistry!

Lizzie writes an advice column that’s one part Miss Manners and one part Dr. Ruth. Ash writes a guy-centric column for another site, and when their companies merge they are pitted against each other to see which column will survive the transition. Lizzie and Ash have such an intense attraction, they can’t help but break all their rules and rethink everything they thought they knew about relationships.

It’s a light-hearted rom-com with surprising emotional depth. I enjoyed every bit, especially some of the secondary characters. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Nikky Kaye delivered a truly enjoyable read that was full of laughs, misconceptions, dirty mouths, sexy scenes, love, heart ache and so much more. I flew the pages of this book. I was hooked and couldn't put it down. The banter between the two characters will keep you entertained and falling in love with both of these characters.

This is a must read by Nikky Kaye that I highly recommend! It is light hearted with a story full of love and laughs that will have you flipping the pages.

Reviewed on behalf of 3 Degrees of Fiction book blog.
I must admit it took a few chapters for me to get into this book. But I am so happy that I kept on reading as this book ended up by being a fabulous read.
I liked the way these two met, and then to find not only are they to work together, but they were essentially in competition against each other.
Lizzie is what I would call a reserved woman, and I think Ash uses that to his advantage early in their working relationship.
But Ash seems to see the real Lizzie, and as they spend more time with each other, he slowly coaxes her out of her shell.
I really enjoyed the writing style from Nikky. Her words just flow so effortlessly. She has a knack of writing her characters that come across as quite realistic. They are flawed, but are very genuine.
Would love to read more stories from this author.

Read For Author:
This was a great RomCom from Nikky Kaye. I loved it. Ash and Lizzie were perfect together.
Elizabeth Bell writing the Miss Behave column to bide her time (she wants to be a real journalist) dools out advise on relationships in a proper manner.
Then she meets Ash - the "Guy's Guy Column" the two editions are merging and making these two work together but their chemistry is off the charts.
Who will get the job, will Ash is not a forever kind of guy but Lizzie is a forever kind of girl will this ever work out between them?
It's such an endearing book. I loved reading it.

This is a new to me author but I'll definitely be reading her again!

I read in another review that someone compared this to You've Got Mail. Which I agree with but add in a bit of The Ugly Truth (watch it for Gerard Butler if for nothing else). He's a total shock jock (the TV version) who is pit against the more reserved producer. Think shock journalist who is attracted to the uptight Miss Behave, who desperately doesn't want to behave.

A great read and a funny story! Definitely a re-read!!

Easy, quick, steamy read.

This whole book had a very The Ugly Truth vibe, which was fun. I kept seeing Gerard Butler in my mind, which was certainly no hardship! There were quite a few similarities, though I think these characters were actually a bit less defined than those in the movie.

I really like that Ash isn't an alpha-jerk. He didn't play around too much with having to dominate - he really was a gentlemen - and he didn't wish-wash about his feelings. That said, there was a disconnect between his A Guy's Guy persona and who he actually was, in a way that actually felt off. At times, he's the guy who could get any woman, but then he hasn't slept with anyone for months. He mentions hitting up clubs and doing "research" for his column, but what exactly would that be for? He is a male Dear Abby.

Then, there is Lizzie. She wants to be a real journalist and stop with her Miss Behave advice column. Her insecurities about being seen as a prude (and Ash assuming she is a virgin even after they fool around) make some sense, but then she also doesn't say ANYTHING to actually expell those assumptions. She is timid at times, then not, and gives advice like she is incredibly naive.

These two are meant to be competing for a job, but that is never really a thing. Conveniently, she has a blog that is better than her job somehow.

They had chemistry, and things kick off pretty quickly. There is a lot of very descriptive sex, with even more verbose and flowery professions of love and adoration the last half. I kind of stopped wanting to read about "wetness" (his and hers) after the first 3 or 4 times it was mentioned, and had to skim through the "Your love is so powerful, you are the best gift I could ever have"s. Both got to be a bit much by the end.

I see comparisons to You've Got Mail, but there isn't any real hidden identity stuff here. He sends her a few questions for advice, but she never strikes up a rapport with his pseudo-alter ego.

Easy, quick, steamy read.

I have always enjoyed a good office romance. Especially an office romance that starts off with some animosity between the two people. I don’t know if there is really anything better than watching someone fall in love with their “sworn enemy.” With Miss Behave, I found the vibe to be less enemies and more just rivals. These two never really outright hated each other. They tolerated each other pretty well, and for the most part, got along. Because of that, I wasn’t really on board with the whole “enemies to lovers” aspect of this book, but I enjoyed it none the less because of it.

Miss Behave is the story of Lizzie and Ash. Both are advice columnists for online magazines. When the two magazines merge, they find themselves working together to duke it out to see who gets to stay on after the merger. This should make for a pretty hostile work environment, but somehow these two manage to make it work. However, Lizzie and Ash are constantly fighting their attraction, until they can’t help but finally make a move.

I really enjoyed Nikky Kaye’s writing. It had good flow, good conversation, and was quite funny. Her characters were well developed, flushed out, and likable which makes a big difference when reading a new author. Stilted characters, or chunky writing can turn me away from a book pretty quickly, and I never once felt that way with Miss Behave. I did think their where some missed opportunities when it came to the “enemies” portion of the story, but it didn’t deter from my overall liking of the book.

Overall Miss Behave was a cute, sexy romance that I recommend to readers of Lila Monroe, Lili Valente, and Carmen Jenner.

Miss Behave is everything I hoped for. It's light, funny, super hot, and the characters were amazing. I loved the battle of the sexes vibe that came through with Ash and Lizzy both writing advice columns, and their different approaches were so much fun to read. Where Ash says he's more down to earth, telling it like it is, Lizzy tries to be more neutral and kind. But, to be honest, they both give pretty good advice from what I read.

When they are thrown together to write just one column instead of two, it gives them just the chance they need to fall head over heels for each other. But they seem to be from two different worlds. When Ash sticks his foot in it, Lizzy feels like he's betrayed her trust. Not sure I would have seen it the same way, but it led to one of the best apology scenes ever! It wasn't groveling or Lizzy being overly dramatic. She was hurt, and he made sure she knew he would never mean to do that.

I wish I could have read this in one sitting - but life prevented it. It's the perfect book to just dive into and not come up for air until it's done.

If you're looking for a fun, light hearted read, look no further! What could possibly go wrong when two advice columnists have to combine their work?
Lizzie dreams of being on the news desk, even though she has her own advice column, Miss Behave and dedicated readers. She's in a slump though, not happy with where she is and not at the point to really move.
That is until the online magazine she writes for merges and she's forced to work with A Guy's Guy, Ash. He's wild where Lizzie is tame, he's rash where Lizzie is rational. Can they actually work together? Can Lizzie work with him without day dreaming about being with him?
This was such a fun read. The banter back and forth between these two writers will have you in a fit of giggles in a matter of pages. We've all had that coworker we wish we could take to the storage closet, where chemistry seems to just spark between you. Ash and Lizzie come together through words but can that translate into physical? These two columnists can dish out the advice but can they take it? 4/5

OH MY WONDERFUL GOODNESS HOW I ADOOOOOOOOORED MISS BEHAVE BY NIKKY KAYE! Miss Behave was LOADED with fun, sexy, witty banter, and crackling with heat. This read was irresistibly appealing. Lizzy and Ash were such good characters. I loved their banter and the way the heat simmered between them and the way they seemed to push each other's buttons amused me and made me giggle.

Nikky Kaye won me over in the first chapter with this romantic comedy! The story was fun and steamy and their was enough heart to make it feel complete. This book had many moments where it was crazy funny. So funny I swear I had tears of mirth rolling down my cheeks! It was wonderful! And Ash and Lizzy will make you love them from the moment you meet them till the very end.

There's a fine line between love and hate, and these two dance all over it. Miss Behave is lighthearted, often hilarious, and absolutely adorable. Ash and Lizzie are about as different as night and day, especially in their views on romance, but somehow, they just fit together perfectly, even complementing each other. I love the way they reluctantly become friends that blossoms into something more. The angst level is low and it's easy to see the cause from early on, but the story and characters are so interesting and funny that it keeps the pages turning. All in all, Miss Behave is a genuinely entertaining read with lots of funny, steam, and romance.

This is a story that will have you laughing one minute and want to smack somebody upside their head the next, but it was sooo good. I just fell in love with Lizzie & Ash those 2 together were just perfect and let's not forget her bestfriend Dara and Lizzie's snarky comments oh geez too funny. I highly recommend getting this book you won't be disappointed. I definitely can't wait to read more from this arthur.

If you're looking for an entertaining book that will have you laughing look no further. This book was so good I gobbled it right up! Ash and Lizzie had such great chemistry. One of my favorite things about this book was the banter between them. They had me laughing through out the book even in the epilogue. They both work for an advice column and now they have to work together. Sparks fly between these two right off the bat. This is a book that you'll find a hard time setting it down to do other things. I highly recommend this book!

I loved this book.
Lizzy and Ash both write advice columns. But for different online magazines. Until they merge. Then they have to work together. Easy? Nope. Not at all. Both have completely different styles.
Lizzy writes under the pen name "Miss Behave" and has a very old fashioned style of response to her mail. Ash is known as "A Guy's Guy" and he's in your face!
So, they have to muddle along together and make things work.
Until HE starts to fall for HER. And this is where the story really begins!
There's lots of fun banter between them and SO much hotness!
Very good read.

Great story

Kaye's Miss Behave is a great story, almost like a witty version of the war of the sexes. However, it's more like opposites attract, even though one is Miss Goodie Too-shoes and the other, is definitely Mr. Brute. Lizzie and Ash are conflicting columnists and their banter and differing advice brings wit to impending romance. I like the two stories, and this is a fun and quirky story, allowing the reader to gain great insight into how these two may come together. I look forward to reading more by this author.

4.5⭐
This was a really good read. Ash and Elizabeth make you lost in their own world. The attraction, their sense of humour, the funny conversations they had made it enjoyable.
It's a work place romance with a little twist... The Merger which makes it even more fun.
I wanted to give this book a 5⭐ as I loved it but felt something was missing and couldn't place exactly what it was.
Apart from which I loved Nikky's work and would recommend to read without disclosing any of the story.😁

This was the first book that I have read by this author and I can honestly say that I enjoyed it . It was a quick easy read that was playful and fun. One of those books that you laugh out loud while reading and you can see the situations in your mind. The characters were lively and real, the scenarios were believable, with plenty of flirtation, frustration and yes a little sex. If all of the books by this author are like this one I can't wait to read more.

Miss Behave - Nikki Kaye

A light heart romp that was throughly enjoyable reading.

Nikki Kaye delivers fun, flirty lines and searing chemistry between her protagonists, Lizzie and Ash.

Two magazine advice columnist are pitted against each other in a battle of the best advice. Rom-com to the max but every hilarious situation and the delivery of witty banter adds to the fun this story delivers.

Well worth the read with well rounded characters delivering a funny and flirty story.
