Paige
Nearly five years ago, my mom, dad, and sisters were assassinated.
I should have died that night.
I still question my mental state because I had no proof those same killers were after me. Yet still, I’d been trying to outrun them.
Until I met him, Caleb Connor.
Caleb became my safety net and I found I couldn’t pull away from him. Couldn’t run away from him. And if sa

So first up, I usually avoid series lately that drag one couples story out over the course of several books. Duets are still on my "maybe" list, and I actually thought this was going to be a duet, but nope, it is a trilogy...so I was a little frustrated by that. BUT...that little niggle didn't take anything away from how very much I enjoyed this book. The writing was excellent. Especially when you consider this is the author's debut novel. I've read a lot of books lately

TRUST: Is the first full length romance novel in Casey Diam’s ‘Things that matter’ trilogy. Spoken in ‘Dual Perspectives’ In this we meet Caleb and Paige

I never expected to be thrown into the gritty assassination which took place as soon as I opened up that first page, her whole family wiped out, she is the only survivor. But what happens when all she thought she knew about her family were all lies?

YEARS LATER:
New town, new identity, new job, new place to live, she doesn't date because s

Book 1 of 3.
Equal part suspense and sexy ;) I loved these two so much. They had me laughing, they had me crying.
I can't wait for everyone to meet them!
Alternating POV.

Excerpt from Caleb's POV

She gripped the bar behind her, and the color of her eyes looked like a treacherous sea among her slickened, wet hair.
We held each other’s gaze as the elevator ascended. The tension between us was palpable, though, behind her eyes, she was still at sea. Drifting. It was weird, seeing that in her, because i

Well, this book kind of blew me away!

It's been hours since reading it and I still can not stop thinking about it. What impressed me even more is the fact that this book was a debut novel. If this is how all of Diam's books are going to be written, she will have a fan for life. I am going to be on pins and needles waiting for the second book to come out!

Paige is living her life but not really living, all she knows is running and hiding. Years before her entire family was murdered and now she is

Paige's entire family has been murdered and now she lives her life hiding from the people that did it. With a system of alternating routes and checking the entire house before she settles in, she's living life on a dangerous edge. (I would even hazard a guess that she suffers from PTSD.) The way she lives doesn't allow time for romance because she won't let herself get close to anyone, especially with how often she moves.

But then she meets Caleb and there's something about him that draws her in

I feel very meh about this book. It was okay but the characters were very forgettable and the romance was a little too insta-love for me. I also find it hard to believe that Paige would be so trusting after everything that happened to her.

I was happy to get this one as an Arc from Netgalley. Now i never read or heard of this author. What actually intrigued me was the cover. This cover is sexy and to the point. As I started this read I was captivated didn't want to put it down. This author can write some great steamy scenes with including emotions and feelings. Paige has not been able to trust anyone since her family was killed. She is not use to trusting someone so because of this she back pedals a lot. At times the back pedaling ...more

All I have to say is WOW! Talk about a rollercoaster of emotions.

I'm not usually a big fan of romance books, but this one may have just changed my mind. There's mystery, suspense, action, and forbidden love and the author did an amazing job at putting them all together. I couldn't put this story down and wasn't ready for it to end. Paige Wells is running from a dark past and trying to find answers to her family's murder. Caleb Conner is trying to stay under the radar and avoid become the monster

This book is just awesome...
the plot, the characters, the tension, holy moly... this is so good.
Book 2 is out next week, hopefully, so I'm not gonna spend too much time waiting.
Caleb - every character with this name is just the death of me - he's 24, he's strong and wonderful, hot, all man, well... he has had a tough life, and I see him as an angel, for Paige...
Paige is very very strong, and I love strong heroines!
She, pretty much, takes care of herself alone, she is always hiding and not callin

Is it possible to know someone for years before meeting them in person?

HOLY WOW! What a WILD RIDE! What a RUSH! What a read! Author Casey Diam’s debut sensation, TRUST, is a chilling and thrilling tear-your-heart apart romance that is as hot as it is heart-racing. My heart had quite the work-out! This story seduced my senses while wrapping me in a web of suspense full of thrilling twists and turns. This is the first time I hear about this author, but I realized that this is her debut novel, so that was the reason. I decided to read this book because I was seeing many quotes about it on various sites, and I am glad I gave in because "Trust" was my cup of tea.

This book tells the story of Paige, a woman who is 19 that went through a trauma after her whole family was murdered by some killers that remain unidentified. Besides the suffering of losing her parents and sisters, Paige discovers tha

This was a pretty good story and I didn’t realize that it was also the authors debut novel. Poor Paige is all alone and basically running for her life. She’s trying to stay on the down low from the person who took out her whole family. She’s had to grow up pretty fast for a nineteen year old. Caleb has his own secrets and is trying to protect her. This whole book is packed full of suspense, twists and turns. Their story kept me interested enough that I want to find out what will happen next.

Okay Okay What Can I Say About This Book....

It Kept Me Intrigued Since The First Page. I Was Hooked. I Kept Coming Up With Question After Question With Each Passing Of Pages And Chapters. The Plot Was Completely Engaging, The Characters Were Totally Relatable. The Ups And Downs, Turns And Twists Of The Story Kept Me Enthralled. What I Loved Most About It Is That When I Thought I Had It All Figured Out, Something Completely Different Happened.

This story sucked me in from the very beginning. Paige’s entire family is murdered. After the murders, her psychologist tells her the people she believed to be her mother and father had actually kidnapped her. She spends her life running from the men who murdered her family. She meets Caleb and the story unravels.
This book kept me hooked from beginning to end. It’s the perfect mix of mystery with romance entwined.
Beware it ends on a huge cliffhanger. I’m excited to see what happens in Hope and

I can’t believe Trust is a debut novel! Casey Diam confidently twisted a compelling story with the first installment of her Things That Matter Series. Right from the start I was totally captured by the suspenseful vibe of this novel.

"How fucking ironic that I'd become the man my father wanted me to be for the girl he wanted dead."

The book opened in a solid way with Paige, the heroine, witnessing the murder of her family. This horrific event unravelled a lot of other revel

Trust is the first book I have read by author Casey Diam, it’s book one of the ‘Things That Matter’ trilogy. That title comes to mean a lot between Paige and Caleb, it’s their code when talking about the ‘real’ events in their past. Each has a deep, dark secret that neither knows much about, but slowly as they get to know one another, little bits are revealed.
It’s told in dual POV so it’s easy to get inside their heads, which is good as this a pretty convoluted but well written story, considerin

Trust had me on my toes and constantly second guessing myself. Paige and Caleb find themselves in a precarious situation trying to figure out who they really are. Paige has been running since her family was killed and she knows they are closing in. Not trusting anyone or allowing herself to get close to anyone, she meets Caleb and everything changes. How does he fit in the picture? Is he one of them? Does he know what is going on? This book was suspenseful with a great twist! The only thing that ...more

This book had so much suspense, and I had so many questions about the set up scenarios. There was heartache for the main characters. Wonder if their lives would ever be their own and what would happen was just a page away. Cannot wait until Tuesday.

A pretty typical NA romance, to be honest.

Here’s a run down:

- Paige witnessed the assassination of her family
- Then there’s a question about if she’s been kidnapped? Who knows honestly
- Obviously her love interest is the brooding bad boy son of the man behind her family’s deaths
- Lots of romance
- Lots of angst

That’s basically everything I can remember about this book, despite the fact that I only finished it a little while ago. Pretty disappointing.

Some years ago, Casey rediscovered her passion for writing and hasn’t stopped writing since. Her favorite genre is romance with a little edge which is why she writes sexy, funny, sweet, and emotional stories that are a little bit more in depth, but so much fun to read.
