It was interesting. The writing at times made me giggle. Like when he talked about a peanut butter and jelly tamale. Overall the recipes were very creative. I liked all the different salsas he had in this book.

This is one of my favorite cookbooks in my home library. It's my go-to for bold flavors, grilling, anything spicy. Love the potato salad and bbq salmon. Looking to try the ceviche one of these days.
