Holly Webb is one of Britain's best-loved children's writers. She has written over a hundred books for children, and her work has been translated into over thirty languages. Holly lives in Tilehurst, just outside of Reading, Berkshire, with her husband, three children and several cats.

This is a cute chapter book about a kitten named Fluff. Fluff was born in a litter of kittens and is the last one left to find a home, but nobody seems to want her. After hearing something scary, she runs away from the farm and becomes lost and afraid. Will Fluff ever find her way back home?

We loved this easy to read chapter book. The story is sad at times, but we enjoyed the ending. It's simple reading for early chapter book readers and has nice large print.

This is a nice tale for pre-teens, probably four to eight years could read it.
A farm cat has five kittens and the smallest is a fluffy tabby girl. The others go to good homes but when a girl caled Ella would like Fluff, her parents don't want that. Then a boy comes to see the kitten but he really wants a snake or spider, so he tells Fluff that the big dog next door will eat her.

Poor Fluff runs away and the farm family cannot find her. She is lost and scared and has no food, and snow starts falling. A big cat, a dog, a fox are all scary and she can't find her way back to the farm. How she manages makes a nice story.

This is a good book for a younger reader or to read to one.

It is admittedly extremely unrealistic but it also gives a sense of satisfaction. I think I would like a cat like Fluff. My current one is trying to stop me from reviewing this book.

Istorija prasideda kaime, kur katė atsiveda kačiukų. Šeimininkai nusprendžia juos atiduoti kitiems žmonėms. Tik vienos katytės Pūkės niekas nenorėjo... iki to momento kai atėjo Elė. Nuo to susitikimo joms buvo lemta gyventi kartu, bet Elės tėvai iš pradžių nenorėjo jokių augintinių. Tikrai nubraukiau kelias ašaras, nes vaikystėje man lygiai taip pat neleido turėti jokių augintinių... Tačiau labai bjaurus berniukas išgąsdino katytę ir šioji pabėgo. I saw this book for the first time in the window of a newspaper booth when I was a child. The picture on the cover and the name (in Romanian) touched me and I immediately fell in love with Fluff (or Pufi). I begged my grandmother to get it for me, but she couldn't afford it and told me to wait. I kept insisting, until she gave up and took me to the booth... and the book was gone! I suffered a lot, and I then begun to ask my dad for it, but he couldn't find it either. I would remember the cover from time to time, and search for it both in shops and online, but I could not find it for the life of me (I wanted a physical copy, in Romanian, just like it was the first time I saw it).
One day, I was with my boyfriend in a store, when I saw one of the books in the series, and I went to search for it once again. It was not there either. I told him about my past with this book and how badly I wanted it, and that was the end of the conversation... Until two days ago, when he was alone at another store and found it, and surprised me the next day with THE book!!! It was one of the best gifts I've ever received.
As for the book itself, it's extremely heartwarming and sad at the beginning (ESPECIALLY with the illustrations, which are amazing!!). It's a cute and touching short story about a kitten who is different from her siblings and just wants to feel as loved as they are, so she does anything to find the only person she felt she could really call "home". I think it is definitely worth a read. I mean, just look at how sad she looks on the cover! Do you not want to hear her story?

I read this book to my daughter as a bed time story. (The entire thing)

It was full of inner thoughts, reality, love and triumph. It shows especially how one can be picked on; or in big people terms become marginalized based off of physical appearances, family ties, and the injustice which society can support. It also touches the issue of homelessness, stereotyping and the idea of perseverance.

As a Community Development & Outreach Worker, a mother and an active advocate and activist; this book is a subtle way of speaking about social issues with your child or class (if you are a teacher) to allow them to question "what does it mean" "how would you feel" "is this right?" and once we start teaching, inspiring and speaking truth to the youth they will be the change we wish to see to make the world a better place.

This was not just a happy sad book with happy endings and a struggle. It is written with the idea of what life is, and how sometimes we can make it and sometimes we cannot. This is supposedly called survival of the fittest; when truth is if we all cared and helped; we could all survive.

In all honesty as an adult and able to read this book from an adult viewpoint I wasn't really able to get into the book. Cute, saccharine sweet and full of impossibilities it is the type of warm-feel-good type story that one hopes their child will come across and hopefully will keep their attention from other bad-type books.

The writing was simple and easy to read so that the youngest of readers who are into chapter books will find themselves with an easy read in hand. With slightly bigger font that won't hurt the eyes either it will be in the case of many readers a quick read.

Otherwise the story was interspersed with black-and-white illustrations of a little kitten with a giant head. Adorable and cute just to match the story while even what seemed to a villain turned out looking cute on its transformation.

All in all a truly decent yet innocent read....

Little Fluff was born on a farm, she was a tiny kitten and needed to be fed with a dropper. Her brothers and sisters were picked to go to new homes. Little Fluff was sad, but a little girl wanted her, but her mom said, "No!" A boy scared Fluff and she ran away. She had many adventures with other animals. This book is cute for children.

I absolutely love this book, I was a bit scared of the fox at first, but then I realised it was helping! It was quite sad when Fluff lost her way to the farm. I’m glad she found Ella.
