The book has tons of text and no pictures, so it likely wouldn’t hold the attention of most young kids today. The authors say that they intended this book for parents to read with their 8-13 year old kids. You can give it a try, but I think the reading level of this book is more for high schoolers. If you want something similar but more digestible for younger readers, try Aesop’s Fables.
A book I can't put away. I want to raise my son on passages from this valuable compendium that illuminates the best of humanity's values through the words of it's most erudite.
