Chronicles of Nartesis Shazarack: Father of Necromancy
by
High Lord Nartesis Shazarack has long been remembered as New Cronoa's heinous Father of Necromancy. Some have heard rumors that he was so powerful that he defied death itself. This was beyond amazing! It should honestly be submitted for an award. It's J.D.'s best work to date and one of the best novellas I've ever read!!
It reads from the antagonist's POV--a huge bonus for me. The writing, the world building, and Nartesis' downward spiral are of the same caliber as Arthas by Christie Golden and Illidan in Richard Knaak's War of the Ancients (Warcraft books), and Jardir from Peter Brett's Desert Spear.
