Just like all of Jenika Snows books I am totally in love with Adrian, her characters are what makes her books then she gives them a story that makes you feel like you are there and that is what she did with Brea and Adrian.
He fights in an illegal underground fight group and she works at the club above it these two are just what the other needs until their pasts try to pull them apart

Brea Collins is on the run from her past and has found a small town to stay in while she decides on her next move. She is a waitress and has been asked if she wants to work in the Underground area where there are cage fights.

Adrian Holden is a very successful Underground fighter and the one that everyone wants to fight. When he sees Brea something takes over in him and he knows he needs to protect her.

But both Adrian and Brea have skeletons in their closets that have shaped them into the person

Brea has been on the run from her abusive ex for awhile when she meets Adrian, a fighter in the illegal underground club where she works. There's something about him that draws her. She should be scared of him, considering what he does for a living, but when she gets to know him, she realizes what her soul recognized all along - he's a gentle giant whose rage only comes out when in the ring and when someone he loves is threatened. Can Brea give herself over to him and risk hurting him when she h ...more

Adrian and Brea are both scarred, not where you can see but where you can’t. Adrian is a fighter, illegal cage fights are what he does, they are how he survives. Physical pain becomes an outlet for the anger and emotional distress he feels everyday. Brea works as a waitress at the fights and Adrian can’t stop thinking about her, noticing her. What no one knows though is Brea doesn’t plan to stick around, she is hiding and as soon as she has enough money she plans to run away from the ma

I enjoyed reading and the story has a way of drawing you into it until the very end.
The story is about, Adrian, an illegal underground fighter and a girl, Brea, who was on the run from her abusive ex-boyfriend.
Brea is working at a club, as a waitress, she is good at her job, but she has a aura of don't touch me, disconnect. Which is a tease to the men. She has worked below the bar in the underground and it sets her anxiety off the charts. The bonus to working the underground is the tips and one

Really liked this. He might have been too good to be true but I don't care he adored her. He was all dark until her and he was so sweet and tender with her he made me swoon. She's sweet and running from an abusive ex but no tstl.

I am loving these books and was so happy that Brea and Adrian were getting a story. This is a fab read about two individuals that you cannot help but route for from the beginning.

Brea is in hiding from her abusive ex the only thing that matters to her is saving enough money and disappearing from the face of the earth to somewhere that Cameron will never be able to find her. That is until she meets Adrian an illegal cage fighter in the club that she works at. She has worked the underground of th

Brea is trying to settle down. It's not that she doesn't want to, but more like her past won't let her. She's currently working at a club, saving all she can for her final escape. And then she meets Adrian and for once actually feels something other than fear.

Adrian has fought for where he's at, literally, at an illegal cage fight ring. Using the emotions that drive him, anger and grief, have served him well and earned him the nickname Barbarian. Brea though, gave him something else and he insta

His Wrath is another re-write in the Underground series by Jenika Snow. I did not have the pleasure of reading the first one, but I can say that this did not disappoint.

This story is focused around Brea and Aiden. Brea is a waitress at the Underground, after meeting Aiden when he saved her from a couple of handsy patrons she hasn't been able to get him out of her mind. But Brea has a secret, she needs to make money and fast so she can finally stop running.

Aiden hasn't been able to get Brea out

I enjoyed this book. I felt like it started to lag there a bit towards the end but over all I thoroughly enjoyed the story.

I liked how Brea was a fighter. It took her a while to fully see herself as that, but that was what she was. he was a survivor. After escaping a horrible relationship, she ran so she could start over. She never thought that she would fall for another man. Especially not one as large and intimidating as Adrian.

Adrian has not had a good life. He took the skills that were tau

I haven't read many Jenika Snow books but this has been my favorite so far.
We were introduced to both characters in the last book. An incident with Brea left me wondering about her. I was so happy to see this was her book.
The story of two broken people coming together and healing each other.
My favorite quote from the book
“But we prevailed, grew stronger, healed and found each other.” And that they did.
Brea went though HELL and she was still running, still hiding. Adrian was her knight in sweaty

WOW is all I can say about this book. Jenika Snow know how to put a book together that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Brea Collins is running from a past and is in town just long enough to get together a nest egg that will get her to the next leg of her journey. She didn't count on meeting someone like Adrian Holden who made her feel protected and loved.

Adrian Holden was a hard man with nothing but pain, anger and grief which made him the barbarian he was until he met Brea Collins. She was e

Brea and Adrian's story is truly beautiful!!!!

Adrian is an underground fighter, with a dark and ugly past. Brea is in the run from a psycho, abusive ex-boyfriend. Adrian goes through life in a rage filled haze and the only thing that helps us when he is fighting in the under fights. It's the only thing that makes him feel alive, until he sees her. He can tell she has her own demons just by looking at her and he knows he should stay away, but he just can't. Brea has been on the run and looking ov

His wrath is book two in the underground series. This story is short, fast paced and action packed. I will admit that I found this story slightly slow in parts but it didn’t stop me from enjoying this story.
I really liked Adrian and Brea. Both of them wanted one another but they had things holding them back. For Adrian, he felt like he wasn’t good enough for Brea. And for Brea, she was scared of her past finding her. She was biding her time, working hard and saving money to get as far away from

Good story

Oh wow, the places this story could have gone. It felt like this huge lead up to an psychopathic abusive ex, to end with a fizzle. Not that I want the main characters to be extremely hurt but realignment ended very quickly.
However overall I really did love the build in. Loved how kind, and gentle Adrian was to Brea. Understanding that she needed to feel a sense of control and power while building their relationship.

Also LOVED how Brea knew and understood that she needed to seek profe

His Wrath (Underground #2) by Jenika Snow is Adrian's story. We met him in book 1 of the Underground series. Adrian is a man with his own demons and the cage is where he exercises them. There is one person who can soothe this beast and that is Brea. She is a waitress at the club he fights at. He met her that night and hasn't been able to get her off his mind. Eventhough he is damaged he is willing to let her in. Brea is on the run. She is just trying to save enough money to get as far away from ...more

An exciting romance read

As stated in the book description, there are subjects and scenes that could be triggers; however, Jenika Snow handles them with the care they deserve. That said; Brea, an abuse victim on the run, gets some help from Adrian, a fighter, one night when she is working. As the story progresses they find themselves drawn further together, secrets are shared from their pasts and a fight for their future is necessary. With heartache and redemption His Wrath is an enjoyable romant

Brea has hit the bottom of the barrel with a horrible guy and living in fear and staying unnoticed is her norm.

Enter in Adrian who is an underground fighter that lives for the rush fighting gives him and is full of secrets that haunt him.

Adrian definitely noticed Brea and vise versa but a woman on the run and a man who us haunted by his past don't stand a chance right?? WRONG.

One amazing story that is full of secrets, sadness, pain, a love that not only defy the odds but knocks it out, an stron

His Wrath is the second book in the series and can be read as a standalone.
This book is very addictive and kept me reading it in one go, with everything that happens in the book you can't help but binge read it.
Brea and Adrian both have dark secrets that they kept hidden from the world but when their paths collide secrets have to be told.
Pasts come back to haunt them and the tension in the room is electrifying.
The suspense, the drama and the connection these two have definitely kept me highly e

I love this author so much!! She can take tough subjects and writes them in such a way with care and understanding. Brea and Adrian are two main characters that have great chemistry, a history, secrets but are willing to fight for a future together. This journey is one that had me reading without stop from beginning to end. There are many questions here, Will Brea ever be safe? Will Adrian fight for Brea or is he to consumed with fighting in the ring? Is it possible for two broken souls to heal ...more

I really loved Adrian! He’s super sweet and super sensitive. He’s such a sweetheart to Brea, just what she needed to restore her faith in men.

Brea’s rebuilding her life after a horrendous relationship and she’s wary of letting anyone in too close. They have an instant connection and seem drawn to each other. They both have baggage to deal with and seem to be in the best position to help each other recover and move on with their lives.

Adrian’s got the ability to keep Brea safe and I think that’

Brea and Adrian prove that sometimes when you think your broken your really just a little bent and in need of someone with the same kind of angle to find your way. There’s nothing like a strong protective alpha that sees what he feels like is a woman that could some shelter and deems to be her shield. Adrian and Brea will intrigue you for the first as they lay their baggage down and learn that there is a way through if only they let someone manage the load.

I’m a sucker for a good tortured soul book and this one had TWO tortured souls!
Adrien chooses to fight in underground cage fights to fight his demons. Brea is running and hiding from hers. Two completely different demons, but these two have similar reactions to each other.
Adrian once saved her from men touching her and now he tortured them both by drinking at the bar where she works.
They officially meet again when he saves her again then he asks her out to dinner and she accepts which surprises
