He’s sworn to find his son.

Dallas Mason did whatever was necessary to survive his stint in black ops. While in the Collective, there was no line he wouldn’t cross, and no mission he wouldn’t take. He bedded the enemy to secure his freedom and return to his brothers and build a new life, where the lines between right and wrong are sometimes blurred, but never erased. Now h

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

I have to admit that I fell in love with the Arsenal crew during book one and each new installment just reinforces that feeling. This time we focus on Dallas as he thinks he is fixing a problem when he goes to confront Kamren only to make the entire situation worse. At the same time he is still frantically looking for his son that he found out existed. Following the two scenarios keeps you hooked due to

Wow!!! This terrific action packed and gritty paramilitary romance is an adrenaline pumping rollercoaster ride I thoroughly enjoyed reading..

Cara Carnes, one of my all-time favourite authors has done it again. 'Blood Vows', the third book in her gritty paramilitary romance series The Arsenal about the Mason brothers, their family and friends, had me hooked and totally absorbed in the story from beginning to end, and when I got there, I wante

If you haven't read the other books in this series I suggest you do that before reading this one. While it's not necessary it will make far more sense if you do.

Kamren Garett is looking for her father's killer, unfortunately her sister Rachelle has been bad mouthing her all over the place, calling her crazy and starting rumors she's on drugs. Rachelle and her brother Cliff have been at the Arsenal since Riley convinced everyone something bad was going on in Marville. The Mason's have their back

The story picks up a few weeks after the end of Sight Lines/Double Tap. Mary and Vi are still wearing themselves thin looking for Dallas's son, even with Jud and Dylan on site. Dallas knows he needs to back off. They need a chance to rest and regroup. He takes on the Marville problem. Rachelle isn't very forthcoming on details, she does give him her older sister.
Kamren Garrett, father was murdered. The corruption in Marville runs deep and her father wasn't well liked, even by her. He was her fat

I loved this third book in the Arsenal series! The plot continues where Sight Lines left off and kicks ass better than its predecessors. The story is very well written and at times very emotional, with plenty of action, intrigue, suspense, humour, some steamy scenes and a surprising plot twist I hadn’t seen coming. We are introduced to Kamren Garrett (Rachelle’s older sister) who, from a young age was raised in her father’s shadow to shoot, hunt, trap, and track. Dallas Mason and Kamren have an ...more

5 deserved stars - Carnes has done it again.
I loved the paramilitary outfit from book 1 on and I can't help but admire Dallas in this story.

He desperately wants to find his son while keeping the trouble brewing around his sister's best friend's older sister (Karmren) at bay.
She's the female lead in this story and is looking for her father's killer. But her sister who lives at the Mason compound's been bad mouthing her to the entire community to the point where she's at rows with the locals.

Excellent series

This is an excellent series I’ve recently stumbled over. The author writes quite well in this para-military/romance genre. I laughed my a$$ off in parts of this story & cried. My only criticism would be it seems the animal characters get “forgotten” once mentioned (many authors make this mistake-as an animal lover it makes me nuts). Also, a huge secure military type secure compound would absolutely have security/war dogs (hint hint Ms. Cara) in addition to the human/camera/dr

Dallas is on fire to protect his family. The entire Arsenal is on high protective stance for Dallas as well. So when Dallas and Kam cross each other, it isn’t pretty. I felt so bad and solitary for Kam. Being able to see and understand her from her perspective. Knowing that she wasn’t going to play the pity me card with anyone or share her life made her stronger but also made her more alone. Kam was fierce and stunningly awesome! Dallas could be an arsehat when he was being protective. It took m ...more

Now this one was truly a delight to get into. This delves even more into the characters as they continue with you getting more about the others. The meat is in this one that you chew on with savoring every bite. Dallas is one that was a bit of a mystery but when finished with this will no longer be that. Then there is Kamren whom you will enjoy to the fullest even though her opinion of herself at times is so low with secrets that will also be uncovered. The story in this one is filled to the bri ...more

This was another great addition to this fantastic series. I loved Dallas and Kamren's story. It was well written and had likable and well developed characters. Dallas and Kamren were perfect together and had amazing chemistry. The book was fast paced, action packed, had humor and lots of emotions. A very enjoyable read that will keep you turning the pages from beginning to end.
I voluntarily received an advanced arc copy for an honest review.

Definitely a solid 3 1/2 star read for me.

Although I believe a person could enjoy the book without having read the first two I’m the series, I would not recommend it. There’s a lot of backstory that you need to know; and let’s face it, there are so many characters that aren’t new. I think you need the series from book one.

And I will definitely read the next book.

Awesome

I like this series as much as the Justice brothers by Suzanne Halliday, the Seals and Delta series by Susan Stoker and the kings of Guardian Series by Kris Michaels. she gives you complicated storylines but always resolving them while giving you a glimpse into her next book. Just plain awesome. love it and will read many more by her.

Wow! This book has a whole lot going on. I have always loved Dallas and had a soft spot for him. I’m so glad he has his own story and even happier how this story ended for him. I love how all the characters are always still fully ingrained in ever book. This was a wonderful addition to the series.

Brilliant continuation of the Arsenal series. Dallas and Kamren's story made you cry, smile, laugh and cheer. Can't wait for the next book in the series. Definitely a book that is very hard to put down once you start reading it.

Born in small-town Texas, Cara Carnes was a princess, a pirate, fashion model, actress, rock star and Jon Bon Jovi’s wife all before the age of 13.

In reality, her fascination for enthralling worlds took seed somewhere amidst a somewhat dull day job and a wonderful life filled with family and friends. When she’s not cemented to her chair, Cara loves travelling, photography and reading.
