Drake can’t transform into his dragon and Chloe can’t trust him. But they must learn to work as a team if they want to survive. Can they find the qualities in each other that fate has deemed makes them soul mates, or will Drake’s anger destroy them both?

Loved Chloe & Drake!

For adults only (18+ years old). Contains subject matter that may be offensive or a trigger to for violence (kidnapping, drugging, betrayal, fighting and death)

I wavered on the rating of this story between 3 or 4 stars. I have it the higher rating because of the flawed but loyal character of Drake. This story has a lot of grammatical errors. I was able to determine the author's intent, but it really needs to be edited professionally. There are some scenes that felt like they were rushed and would have been so much better if more detail was provided. There were also a few times that the story skipped forward that left the reader to logically fill in for themselves what happened based upon the scenes.

That being said, I still enjoyed this story. I hope that eventually the author will be able to go back and revise this book. Chloe as Drake has been through too much to not have their story presented in the best possible way.

DNF I hate stupid vapid h’s, they don’t stand up for themselves, they keep expecting someone bigger to save them, they have no sense of self worth, and it just makes me ill when the H uses that for his own advantage, thinks because she’s weak and whiny he has the right to be verbally abusive, shout at her and tell her to shut up when he doesn’t like what she says. Nope nope nope.
I don’t care fo the H either he’s abusive, and plain unstable, how he spoke to the h after drugging and abducting her was disgusting, no respect and not a hint of him being anything near redeemable. He blames her and gets derogatory and nasty to her for something he’s responsible for since HE ABDUCTED HER in the first place. Ugh

Chloe has been so utterly betrayed by a man she looked up to, that she no longer trusts men. When she’s kidnapped and knocked out by another, this just reinforces it. It will take a lot for her alien dragon mate to earn her trust . This book has lots of non stop action, love and letting go of anger and hate.

This is a sci fi series.
If you like aliens especially dragons shifters, you'll love this.😊
There is action, kidnapping, scandal, with well thought out plots.
And of course there is danger.

Madness Unbalanced

This was the first book I've read by this author and I enjoyed it very much. I will be sure to read the other books in the series. I would definitely recommend this author and books who love the mixed genres of Aliens and shifters.
