This was my first book by M.K. Dawn and I really enjoyed it. Sloan Egan is a young doctor who puts her profession first always. She gets in invitation to attend a retreat in The Bunker and ignores it due to her patients. When her boss calls her in and says she has to attend or face charges from the government she is not happy. I really loved the concept of this story. It is one of those scifi/horror novels that does a fantastic job keeping you on the edge of your seat. I read this in on sitting because I couldn’t wait to see what happened next! I think the plot was unique, and fast paced, and I’m looking forward to more.

I really love the characters. Everyone is super well rounded, and realistic. I found them strong, with purpose, and I think that is super important in a novel. I’ve always said a book can be lacking in

I loved this book

I loved the concept of the book and everything about. So many characters in this book to love. Some with short appearances but loveable and the out come of their fates still heartbreaking. I can't wait to read the next book.

I love creating stories out of nothing. I have a vivid imagination that sometimes drives me crazy but is wonderful for storytelling!

Fantasy, paranormal and dystopia are my favorite genres to read and to write.

I was born and raised in South Texas, where I
