This is a cowboy paranormal romance set in Dubois, Wyoming. Brandon wears an heirloom passed down to him from his father and grandfather. First, I am the author of this book and it's a sequel to Never Surrender, a time travel romance. The characters are souls who have traveled through time and landed in the present. Kate and Brandon wrote the story by showing me a movie of what they wanted to happen in the book. They both realize they had a love connection in their past life and given time, Kate will trust her feelings of love. Will it be strong enough to outwit the paranormal shapeshifers from their past lives in order to build a relationship in the present?
The characters meet in the Rockie Mountains in Dubois Wyoming. The surroundings in the mountains play a huge part in the story, pulling the readers in so they can experience what my characters feel. Not only are the paranormal shapeshifters familiar with the area, but this makes them stronger as they intrude on the tender relationship between Kate and Brandon.
The characters who insisted on being in this story also made sure they would be included in book 3, Complete Surrender, coming late 2018. I hope you choose to read book one, Never Surrender.

This book by Ms. Jewel explores an fascinating concept that captured both my attention and imagination. People have varying opinions on soul mates. Are they real? And if so, do souls that belong together search for each other in the next life? This book explores this, as the two main characters dream of each other and seek each other out. The writing is well done, and the pace of the book kept me turning the pages. It's a little bit of a genre bender, with both romance and western themes mixed together. Give it a read!

“Final Surrender” is a story about destined love, soulmates, and overcoming obstacles… even those from a former life.

Although this was book #2 I still throughly enjoy it immensely. I must now get my hands on #1. Thank you author Deanna Jewel for the pleasure and chance to read your novel.
