The One Last Kiss

Rate this book
She was not my type. But I didn’t know what I was feeling as my heart raced, my stomach fluttered, and my member twitched when I looked into her eyes. All I knew was that I needed to make her mine.

She was a breath of fresh air.
I found myself in a difficult position.
She wasn’t like the other girls. She was different.
Corrupting her that first night was wrong.
Three years later and she’s back.

Can I keep my hands off of her?
I didn’t have the answers.
I did know one thing.
I wanted a second chance.

Meeting her again gave me an opening.
Dinner was ripe with se*ual tension.
I had designs on making her scream my name.

What happens after? I would cross that bridge when I came to it.

a good little read
a wealthy playboy looking for a good time on a business trip encounters a girl who shows him a different meaning to his life that he leads.
only a stolen kiss between them , then a chance encounter three years later brings them back together and makes then both realise what they let go.

was provided an ARC of this book and this is my honest review......
This was one convoluted hot mess...... It’s hard to read or sympathize with characters you care nothing about. Edward and Grace and this entire story was pretty uninspired. Not for me.

A stolen kiss that changes two people's lives, a chance encounter three years later. Can a simple kiss be the change they both needed, can a chance encounter give them what they both want. A quick read that was a little difficult to follow but I read an advance copy before edits were made.

Quick read. Not too bad of a story line but the flow was just off a wee bit. I think this was partially due to further editing requirements of the document (spelling and grammar). There certainly were different elements covered in the story, drama, romance, and touching on familial abuse of the main female character. She had a core of inner strength and over the course of the story's timeline, matured into a strong, independent young woman. The main male character was a player initially but again, over the course of the story's timeline, appeared to have matured more. These two do manage to attain their happily ever after. This was an okay quick romantic read.

I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this short story and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.

The One Last Kiss by Claire Angel is an instalove story with a second chance twist. I have read several books by this author and I think this book shows that her writing has improved from others I have read.

In this book Grace and Edward had one night that was the complete opposite of everything they thought it was going to be and the next morning she was gone. Neither could forget about the other and after three years they have their second chance.

Will they be able to figure it out before they lose three more years?

If you are looking for a quick live story without all the angst and drama then this is the book for you!

This is a amazing, entertaining book that will draw you in from the first page and you will be totally captivated until the last. This romance offers a variety of twists, some suspense, action, drama, intrigue, lust, passion, romance, love and a few steamy scenes. The story-line and plot is well-thought out and written, the pace is steady and not rushed. The characters are quite complex and have individual personalities and react with varying emotions to the situations they find themselves in. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a good romance.

Needs work

As an avid reader I simply can't leave more than a one star review, because although the story had good potential, the author gave great effort, the overall quality of writing and proofreading needs a ton of work. It's clean in that there is no foul language which is kudos to Ms. Angel, there's no cheating or cliffhanger and you get an abrupt and awkward happy ending.

The one last kiss

Edward and his best friend Frank are in California for a good time. When Frank sees an old flame Ellie and her friend Grace. Ellie is a call girl and the way Grace is dressed Edward thinks she's a newbie with tight jeans and a grey t shirt. When they arrive at the guys house Edward is unsure of what to do so he doesn't do a thing. The next morning she's gone. Three years later he sees her on a flight to texas. Can this be fate? Great read.

A kiss that became more than that. When not to expect love and fate has its own opinion. Absolutely a sweet and hot read but it is very short. Characters are likeable and well described. Written in dual POV and that gives the reader more of the main characters thoughts and feelings.
A story that I can only recommend.

Do not lose your time reading this

Thank God that I did not pay for this book. I have not read worse book in months. I even do not know why I finished it. The book has gramatical errors, strange story line, strange dialogues, is difficult to understand where someone’s thoughts end and where his/her speech starts. Nooo.., will not try another book by this author.

Short but enjoyable read

A good story. Innocent girl with a bad situation makes a bad boy rethink his actions. Both molded by their actions and a chance meeting rekindles what might have been into a new passion. And no errors!(pet peeve. Cant stand poor proofreading) cant wait for more from this author.

Meh...

I just could not get into this book. I stopped reading about 40% into it. The story was all over the place with no good plot. It was confusing at times. One paragraph after another but they don't flow. Definitely not a book I would recommend.

Great plot

The premise of the story was great. The meeting between the main characters was different but sweet. However the story felt rushed as if author was focused on word count than quality. Therefore leaving confusion in some parts of the story.

Good start

This book has a good plot but needs work transitioning from point to point. I had to go back and reread parts because I felt lost in the story. Story needs to be fleshed out to be good.

OK

This book was just okay. Not much depth to it. Perhaps for someone who doesn’t read very much. I like my books with a lot more substance.
