So many, many pearls of wisdom from a veteran kindergarten teacher/parent. I am finding Jeannie's advice to be exactly what I need in this season of my life.

Jeannie Podest gives exceptional advice from her professional and personal experience as a seasoned kindergarten teacher and a mother of 4. She has a way of conveying pertinent information to parents of rising kindergartners that makes the reader feel like you're chatting with a neighbor. She's honest and fair with her observations and tips. I really enjoyed her collection of anecdotes from the classroom! It's nice to be reminded that we're all in this together and to be kind and patient with one another - children, parents, teachers, and school staff - we're all on the same team. 😊
